Meh...to be honest the spectraflame and translucent figures are much cooler. I don't like the red tint to the bronze either.

Cool that it's Hot Dog though. I really like him as a character.

Yeah I'm disappointed as well. More crap. Why would anyone want this unless it was free? I feel sorry for the collectors that feel like they have to have every figure abs will spend hundreds on this piece of plastic. TFB and Activision don't care if you have them all. It's not like 10 years from now anyone will care. I wish they would listen to us and make figures most of us want instead of cheap polished turds to make the hardcore collectors smile. Would be great if we all took a stand and stopped accepting or collecting the junk they push out so they would Listen to the fans. I'm really just getting tired of the whole process. Hopefully disney doesn't stink it up with infinity so we can stop supporting TFB and Activision until they give us what we want. Online co op shouldve been a part of giants bit they are in to big of a rush to take our money.

Apparently Bronze Hot Dog won't just be given away to every attendee. You have to win him by showcasing your Swashbuckling skills. I just can't decide if this will be seen as good news because it will "keep it out of the hands of 'scalpers'" or bad news because "Activision is making Bronze Hot Dog that much rarer and ripping off collectors".

I think he looks pretty awesome - although I feel that he should have been a "Molten Hot Dog" with that particular paint scheme. Much better than the single-color/shade figures they've done previously.

Going to E3 is freakin' expensive. Hotel, air fare (if applicable), food, taxi, etc.

Sold and he listed another one without the BIN. Says he got it from "a buddy of mine on the Skylander dev team at Activision". Which I'm reading as someone at the booth with access that swiped some to make some cash. This is why exclusives at conventions and trade shows that are not open to the public are terrible. The people that would most enjoy these items have almost no way to get them other than the secondary market.

Sad but true. I'm not feeling this one -- I'll wait until the market is flooded with them and I can get it in the $100-$125 range.

I have one coming to me from my store owner friend whos attending E3, maybe 2 if his girlfriend gives me the one she got.

Neither one of them care or know much about skylanders other than that they sell.

My 4 year old wants this so bad. Hot Dog is his favorite. I told him there wasn't a chance in the world I was spending that much on one figure. Poor kid is distraught. Maybe I will try to paint him one. Lol.
