The Hunger Games is a annual competition between children of the ages 12-18 to fight to the death. The children were chosen at an event called the reaping where everyone in the district was to attend. The children's names were placed into a bowl and chosen at random. There was one boy and one girl from each of the 12 districts. They have been going on for 77 years but now it is coming to the 78th year. Effie Trinket is wearing her usual outrageous outfit. Her big green wing matches her dark green dress and her almost pale face. She chooses the ladies first. This is where your story begins. You have been chosen as tribute. You must survive the arena as long as you can and win or you will die. There is only two ways out, to win or to die. May the odds be ever in your favor.

Katniss and Peeta did not win. Only Katniss did. She stuck the arrow in Cato`s head making both Peeta and Cato fall to their deaths. She was never the MockingJay.

Joanne looked at her stepbrother. They both knew that only one of them maximum would make it out alive. Joell did not care. He declared that he would help his stepsister win.

Joanne eyed the swords as Joell eyed the axes. They planned that they'd use the best weapons of their choices for defense and the worst ones for hunting animals.

They saw a nod from Paz. "There must be a Career group." Joell mouthed to Joanne. She nodded, understanding. They wait for the clock to go off.

Jay stood stiff as she looked out at the arena. She took a deep breath as she waited for the clock to tick down.

"Almost time!" Joanne mouthed to Joell. He nodded, and pointed to the backpacks. They agreed to get some backpacks and to look for scraps of metal to make shields and water bottles.

I think I better follow Alyx, thought Delgato. Then, I'll leave her. I just want to stay safe on my own for the first part. he thought.

Ace waited for the gong

Jay trembled as she waited. She fought the fear as she zoned in oh the arena

*insert gong sound*
Paz and Ace both exploded off their platform and raced to the cornucopia. Paz punched a tribute in the head on the way. Paz was able to obtain two axes while Ace got some daggers. They stood bak to back and attacked.

Slver then jumped of his platform jumping from tree to tree as he then sneaked up to the cornucopia and grabbed a whip lash he then ran away

Delgato leapt off and raced after Alyx.

"What are you doing?! Go away!" yelled Alyx.

"I'm following you! Do you want me to die in the first round?!" Delgato yelled.

Alyx silently nodded in understanding and continued running.

Maxwell ran to the weapons got a sword a knife and a bow and ran off.

Delgato leapt and climbed a tree, then swung down and lifted Alyx into the tree.

Joell and his stepsister ran to the weapons. They grabbed their favored weapons as well as some backpacks and a water bottle. They looked for the other careers, found them, and went to their group.

Ooc: Sleepy, it's not that simple at the Cornucopia. There WILL be battle

Jay quickly ran to the Cornucopia. There were a few tributes coming after her. She jumped to avoid a dagger and punched a tribute in the gut. She grabbed a backpack and some daggers

Delgato watched the fight with Alyx and was glad that neither of them were hurt.

Paz threw an ax at a female tribute, killing her. Ace saw a tribute grab a bag and run, so he threw a knife that embedded itself in his temple.

They get ready for the battle and hold their best weapons

Alyx swept her sweaty hair out of her face and watched the fight below. She clenched Delgato's hand. So much blood, so many dead tributes already...

Paz started to search the supplies while Ace looked for tributes in or around the cornucopia. He found on about to kill Paz and threw a dagger at his head. Bulls eyes.

Delgato hurled a dagger at a tribute running below them.
"Sniper." he said with a smile.

Joanne looked like she was about to faint. She was always fainting at the sight of blood. Joell noticed that, so he brought her to a woodland area and waited for the fight to end

Jay quietly crept around the golden horn and struck a tribute in the back with a dagger.

Alyx watched as Delgato and Jay both sniped a tribute. She watched as Delgato hopped down from the tree to grab the dagger and hop back up.

Ace threw another dagger, killing a tribute about to attack Jay. He then shot another at her.

Silver stood in a tree hidden watching everyone.

The two found a hole and hid in it.

Alyx hurled a dagger to collide with Ace's. She looked at Jay.
"You're welcome." she said.

"Thanks" Jay said as she nodded towards Alyx. She ran off to find a good place, far from the Cornucopia

Ace glared and threw a dagger at Alyx. Paz killed off two more tributes.
