Mine was !

Not counting the giants starter I think my first two were leg stealth elf and whamshall. Which i proundly bought at the hersey outlets in pa while on vacation for xmas

Mine was the starter pack that came with tree rex, cynder and jet vac but my first single was lc drobot.

And he's frigging amazing.
Not only does he represent my favourite Skylanders game, 3DSSA, he's the first Skylander I got to level 10 with all upgrades and Heroics, and I blasted through the majority of it and the Wii version with him.
For old times' sake I put in the game first with Giants as well. Same with iOS minigames.
The PC version has a tendency to give figures the "Skylander has a problem" glitch, sadly. I had about five Skylanders affected by it. Dark was too... But... A few hours later, he was back. Perfectly. Without needing to reset him. He came back to life.
I started a new SSA save set on my Wii U. I reset him and played through it again for a nostalgia flood.
I won a Dark Spyro Single Pack in a contest from EB Games. It is still sealed shut.
I have one I customised with a nicer paint job myself. I want him to look perfect so he is still a WIP.
The day that the data in these figures dies and he passes away will be a sad one, indeed. In summary, I like him even better than Sprocket. Yes, I'm human, I really love Sprocket but I love Dark Spyro even more. Long live the king.

My sons first Skylanders were those in the starter pack on the day it was released. Then they had a raffle at our TRU and he won Pirate Seas. He got another Adventure Pack that day but I'm not sure which one--He would remember FOR SURE--but he is at school. We had a countdown calendar he was that excited for it to come out. . So much fun we have had and are having with Skylanders. Not sure why but his excitement was so contagious to his father and me.

I started with SSA, so not including Spryo, Trigger and Gill that came with the game, I think my first one was Dino Rang...that's my earliest purchase memory. I looked through my others but I don't recall when I got some of them and then others like Prism Break and Stump Smash I know I left until much later.

The first I bought was the Trigger Whirly 3 pack.

Bash, but the first one I touched was Chop Chop.

My so just got home from school and when I asked about first Skylanders he said what I said regarding starter pack but also said..."Trigger Happy was my favorite."

My first skylander was oddly enough S1 Ignitor . Funny thing is I had no interest in skylanders until someone gave me their extra Ignitor from the 3DS starter pack (they already got him from a 3pack). After that I decided to get the game and became hooked, simply collecting a majority of the figures.

Besides the SSA starter pack it was Sonic Boom.

Pretty sure it was Chop Chop.

Well, other than the starters I got: Spyro, Trigger Happy, and Gill Grunt (XBox360 Green Version). My first ones were Ignitor, Terrafin, Whirlwind, Stealth Elf, Eruptor, Hex, and Stump Smash. I also have Chop Chop and Cinder.

I got the PS3 Mega Pack, so right off the bat I had:
Terrafin
Bash
Chop Chop
Eruptor
Trigger Happy
Gill Grunt
Spyro

Then I bought a Cynder, Zook, and Lightning Rod 3-pack.

Voodood, Boomer and Prism Break 3 pack.
I thought Voodood would be my favorite of the 3, but after increasing Prism Breaks speed a bunch he is now my best character

Surprisingly, the starter pack Skylanders were not my first. I didn't really get into Skylanders until Giants was released, but I wanted to play through SSA first. When I decided to play Skylanders, I had a bit of trouble tracking down the starter pack, but I had one on order and had to wait three weeks for it to arrive. I the meantime, they had SSA Skylanders on clearence at my local Kmart for $5 each. So my first Skylanders were (in order of grabbing them off the shelf):







then my Starter Pack arrived so I had , and to add to my collection

Same, starter pack came about a week later for the console version, the first day of my skylander "career" brought me Bash, Drobot, dark Spyro, Ignitor, and stealth elf. The only skylanders I ever bought for myself were the empire of ice pack and the legendaries from SSA, every other skylander were bought for me.

My first three Skylanders were Spyro, Trigger Happy and Gill Grunt from the SSA starter pack. The first non-starter Skylander that I bought was Whirlwind.

S1 Whirlwind... I thought it was just an awesome looking dragon figurine at GameStop when SSA first came out... bought it and looked up the "Skylanders" series (and was of course intrigued by "Spyro" being on the label!!), once I realized there were tons of adorable figurines (mostly awesome dragon types) and that Spyro even made an appearance, it all began..... LOL I think I will be done playing and collecting after Giants though, it was a good run!!

Whirlwind. I bought her a week before SSA came out, because my store had the stock out early. I didn't realize she was a girl until after I played the game haha

other than the S1 starters, Hex. she was a christmas gift from my sister.

Then for giants, it was Fright Rider.

Other than the Starter SSA - First 15, it was in this order: Dino-Rang, Drobot, Hex, Zap, Sonic Boom, Voodood, Bash, DarkLight Crypt, Empire of Ice, Pirates Seas, Stump Smash, Prism Break, Boomer, FlameSlinger and Chop Chop.

S1 Gill Grunt, S1 Trigger Happy, and S1 Spyro were my first three I bought. Got 'em off eBay. Gill Grunt was the first one I leveled to 15 so I guess he is my official first skylander.

SSA: Chop Chop was the first I got outside the Starter pack 3-
SG: Lightcore Prism Break & S2 Trigger Happy were the first besides the Starter 3.

Not Counting the SSA Starter, the Wrecking Ball, Sonic Boom, Stealth Elf 3 Pack.

Not counting the SSA 3DS starter and the SG PS3 starter , mine would be S2 .

For SG giants I got pop fizz, crusher, and tree Rex first

Wait, you bought four s? That's a little nuts if you bought them all for yourself, but if you gave the other s to friends, that's not so nuts. (Feel free to provide the reason why you bought 4 s if i didn't list it.)

Obviously this question doesn't include either Starter Pack, everybody gets those. Funnily enough, even INCLUDING the Starter Pack, the first Skylander I owned wasn't one of those, it was Stealth Elf! My nephews asked for Skylanders for their birthday last year (in May, they just had their next one, actually), and each wanted one more: One wanted Flameslinger, the other wanted Stealth Elf. The whole stealth theme appealed to me, and I decided I wanted the game too, to have something to share with them. But finding Stealth Elf was IMPOSSIBLE! Everybody sold out immediately! So I declared if and when we found her, I wanted her too. So, I owned her before I even owned the game! And it was a wise decision, she's still my fave.

It would be kool If someone got a chase variant as their first skylander, wouldn't it?

We were tempted, I don't mind telling you... THAT we found here and there. But as they don't have 3DS systems - I even checked at the time - it seemed like the Starter Pack wasn't an option. Partially since that would mean giving one twin a Skylander and the other a whole starter pack, including 3 Skylanders, LOL!
