In the mobile version of DOTD it shows A huge gold dragon, which is most likely the DM. I though he was a purple dragon so why is he gold. Any ideas?

maybe they made him gold so he will stand out since the back-round is black.

Maybe this gold dragon is a new dragon altogether. Like when I first saw some mobile pictures of the Chronicler, I thought he was a glitched guardian or something. But he was a different character. smilie It excites me to wonder if a new dragon will come.

How can you possibly say he's not purple? It was said in TEN that he was a purple dragon. The first one to be exact.

So? That's not convincing me very much. Malefor was a purple dragon when he was born, he was a purple dragon when he was banished and always will be a purple dragon. He can't just change, even after all that time.

Maybe he will have a darker tint of purple, like Dark Spyro in TEN. But he will still have the power of the purple dragon.

Dark Spyro looks black for some reason, but he actually is a darker tint of purple. If you increase the contrast in the game, you can see the purple color on Dark Spyro.
But no matter what, Malefor will be a purple dragon. It already has been said he has the powers of the purple dragon and therefor he is one.

Well yeah. I mean, he can't be an evil dragon and have the same purple color as good Spyro.
Just don't get your hopes up to high on Malefor not being purple, or dark purple in this case.

The ruessurection could have changed his body, but I don't think it is him. Afterall, he is supposed to be purple, and do you really think they would show a pic of him THIS early?

If it isn't him then I think it is the Destroyer.

There has been talk of the destroyer being the a dragon and not the lava thing. Maybe that's him. I don't think the golem is the destroyer coz the producers called it a lava golem and I think they spoke of the destroyer at a separate time, which would indicate he is someone else. But i'm not sure...

I hope Malefor is purple... he wouldn't be the first purple dragon if he wasn't purple, obviously...

Well it wouldn't matter what anyone would say because that's what's going to be the big thing about this game. You're finally going to face the Dark Master and you know that he is a rare purple dragon.
If he is any other color other than dark purple, then I can tell already that this big last battle won't be worth it.

Yeah...and? He's a rare purple dragon and therefor shows it. Since the Dark Master is a purple dragon as well, it will show it.

I think that he'll probably be black like Dark Spyro, but it would be kwl if he was still a purple Dragon instead of a black Dragon because if he was purple he'd have all the elements instead of just Convexity.
