There's already Shroomboom in that "cannon" pack with Chop Chop that no one buys and just gathers dust and takes up space on the stock shelves/pegs ... plus there's lightcore Shroomboom, and more recently a single pack on regular Shroomboom, too.

I like you blame Shroomy though not the battle pack in general b/c the Striker Hot Dog pack sells very nicely, as does Hot Dog singles. I think people just don't like the goofball Shroomy. I can even find Shroom Boom single pack at will anywhere, just like his battle pack. Hot Dog singles and Striker Battle Pack...they go fast.

I hate collecting so many ShroomBooms I'm thinking about buying an out of box Golden Dragonfire Cannon to complete my magic collection in Giants without buying another battle pack.

So many of the Skylanders figure have such ornate, stylish, attractive features and poses .... and then there is Shroomboom ... sometimes I think the toy designers must have been ON mushrooms when they decided Shroomboom was a good idea to produce and market.

I believe it was for the fact they could rhyme shroom and boom and give him exploding mushrooms is why he was created. He had to be one of those 11th hour "o crap we still need another life skylander."

Wow triple pack 8&9 are awesome...does anyone know if the wrecking ball,friegght rider,flameslinger pack is real or when if coming out...i saw it once on this forum and i havent heard of it since

He's one of the best (and only one worth buying IMO) lightcores with the eye and shroom lighting up....So the regular ones definitely lose ground there.

LOL My niece bought the Dragonfire Battle Pack for Chop Chop, she barely touches Shroom Boom. Her brother doesn't even care for Shroom Boom and she usually gives him the ones she doesn't want.

The thing I love about Skylanders is how different the characters play from one another. He is definitely different in playstyle, but does work pretty well when teamed with someone that can keep bad guys at a distance. It makes playing the game with different figures a lot more fun due to the variety.

I do like the way he looks, and his Lightcore is nice. He has far more personality in his model than some of the other Newlanders (ahem, Sprocket and Chill).

Nah, Fright Rider looks cool on his skele-ostrich mount. Sproket is just a humanoid holding a wrench. Bleh.

The problem with Shroomboom is they are now selling singles on top of the Battle Pack on top of Wave 3 lightcores with 4 per box (that don't seem to sell really well). And he has been out since the first day.

i would really have liked it if they had stuck series 2 into the and because i dont have any of those figures and i dont want 2 of the same figure but of course comes in a ruins it

Given the number of series 2 characters that are really a pain in the butt to find (Slam Bam, Bash, Ninjini, Zap, etc.), it's really lame that Activision has produced so many different ways to purchase Shroomboom ... when he/it just really is not that popular.

A lot of people got Shroomboom bent. I guess no one has maxed him out on Heroics and gave him a shot. He's a very useful Skylander, but people judge him before even getting the gist of his potential.

Every Skylander has potential. It's not the Skylander's fault if we suck at playing with that character. I've found out ways to make the crappiest - in other people's eyes - Skylander a fun and beneficial Skylander to play as, and I'm sure others could to if they put in some effort.

I've found that a lot of people that dislike figures is usually because those figures don't really support the "charge in and button mash" playstyle or are effective for PvP. Prism Break got a terrible rap in game one, but he was brutal if used correctly. Some figures are better in the support role and shine in 2 player.

Very true. One of the reasons why I'm forced to get my own skylanders cause I want to force myself playing when they aren't powerful to get their strengths / weaknesses understood up front. Frankly the button masher type skylanders are fun at first but really boring at the same time.

Well seeing how Lightcore Pop Fizz has finally made an appearance, I went ahead and put in a pre-order for him on TRU (he should be getting released in the US soon). Now I can just sit back and not worry about hunting one down.

It could be a month away. Spyro and Wreckign Ball was seen Overseas about 3-4 weeks before they showed up in the States.

have we learned anything from wave 3? S2s and LC shroom showed up a month before the giants, triples, and SS.

i have a feeling acti's following that plan. so i predict lightcores come out this month. PREDICT.

Shroomy and that paramushroom path pretty much wrecks everything in the main game. Just spamming that paired with some mushroom tosses and you've got one of the better destructive characters in the game. If you don't think Sh rooms is strong, you're not using him right lol.

I wonder if this will come to bite us next year if Shroomboom turns out to be like Boomer...maybe WS should snap up some of the extras we see and tuck them away for later?

Its not that i dont like because he actually looks fun HOWEVER i just dont like the fact that they are putting in a triple pack when hes already in 3 others character packs. I just couldnt find S2 and was betting that a triple would come with him and i was hoping and would be in it too (there hav been some triple packs with only S2 lately) but yea my wish comes true except the part that where comes in to ANOTHER character pack in which he really doesnt need to be there

VERY much so. Basically during The Drought (aka January 2012- May 2012) if any stores actually had Skylanders in stock, it was usually some left over Boomers, Drobots or Wrecking Ball.

Then once we found out that the figures we were getting from the Frito-Lay promotion were Boomer (there was 2 different promos, the other was for Flocked Stump Smash), most people were trying to find creative things to do with the ones they'd be getting.

I took mine and painted him with glow in the dark paint haha. I totally regret it now because I could EASILY find someone to sell it to.
