Ah neato. Monopoly is awesome and the "themed" versions always end up being cool.

Wonder what sort of pieces we'll get? Skylanders? NPCs? Villains?

If it's anything like other video game themed Monopoly games they will have skylanders and villains to choose from. The Nintendo monopoly board is one of my favorite boards I've seen.

Hmm..well, im not sure about a coupon for a actual Skylanders figure. (unless maybe a $1 off or something)

I want to say theres about 6 tokens in liscensed Monopoly games. So maybe like Flynn, Callie, Spyro, Kaos, Trigger Happy and Gil Grunt?

Ah, 'fraid I've only got room in my heart for one Monopoly set, and Sonic Monopoly took that place last Autumn. They put team Chaotix as the electric company, I can't say no to that!

This is what I was told from the people at USAopoly, who makes ALL of the "officially licensed" Monopoly games. When a licensee contract with USAopoly to made an edition for their property (Marvel, Nintendo, etc.), USAopoly usually has makes all of the accessories - the tokens, the houses/hotels, etc. In the case of Skylanders Monopoly, Activision told USAopoly that they would handle the manufacturing of the tokens, so I'm sure that we can expect something special. One twist in the production process of this Monopoly edition, is that Activision wants the fans to decide on what to call the last 2 spaces (Park Place and Boardwalk in the original edition). You can expect to hear more details soon:

i would assume it'd be off locations such as 'kaos's castle' or perhaps even chapters in the game.

If they name them off characters, Boardwalk is going to Spyro and Park Place is going to be either Trigger Happy, Gill Grunt, Jet Vac, Stealth Elf, Eruptor, or Tree Rex.

The game's facebook page now has a vote section for the final two squares. the options are the water characters - it looks like the spaces are named for the characters.

I'm right along with you. The gem of my 36 different versions is the Bath Edition i got when touring the Roman Baths over in England.

this is pointless and looks just like a cash grab. why don't they make a totally new board game for the skylanders?.... anyway i will stick to the old monopoly, i see no reason to change it with skylanders theme.

sorry to ask but every whare whare i look , stealth elf 's s2 art is like everywhare, i also hoped that the skylanders would have thier pieces, but meh..........
