Idk, but they probably won't make them for ps2 anymore. Like Doppel said, the ps2 is getting phased out. I'm buying a ps3 anyways for DotD, just for better graphics, and it's good to have one because, in the future, they won't make ps2 games. It's like with the ps1 and ps2. You don't see any ps1 games coming out right now, and the ps1 got phased out. Probably gonna be the same

I think after DotD, the other Spyro games will be for the PS3/Wii/yaddayadda. PS2 ain't gonna last forever.

And Tomb Raider is coming out for the PS2, only we have to wait longer (coming out in December)

Yeah, but thats a looooooooooooooooong eventually. I mean, they took, what? 8 years to create a ps3. And that was 8 years of ps2, so we'll have a while. Plus, if it does take that long for a ps4, some of us might not even still be interested in video games. And who knows what technology will bring? Vidoe games might be out by then, which would explain your phasing out the ps3 dealy

Well DotD game is verry firstly Spyro game which is on PS3.So I don't think there will be no PS2 Spyro games.

I dunno, people have been speaking of Nintendo beginning work on its next console. <.<; And the next Spyro after DotD will probably not be on the PS2, I'm guessing they'll have phased it out by then. However, they have been on a 1 Spyro game-a-year trend so they may be able to sneak one more in. You never know.

No exactly. You see, Insomiac always stuck to original Spyro and kept making games for the original Spyro trilogy. This is Sierra, it's kind of their style.

I don't really know... they have been making Spyro games for the PS2 for quite a while now so it is not suprising if they make it for the PS3. I don't have a PS3 and I think I never will because we have got a PS2, Wii, 64 and Gamecube so my perents don't wanna get anymore game consles. I might be safe because DOTD is on Wii so hopefuly the other ones will be on the wii to.

The only reason they released DotD on PS2 was becouse they would have had a global riot on there hands if they didn't. Since DotD is the last of the Legend trilogy then Exodes will most likly not support PS2.

ACTUALLY! (Me and my big mouth) EVERY PS3 supports PlayStation One games. They are CD-ROMS. Kinda hard not to have the ability.

As for PS2, well, Sony were stupid. SOME consoles can play them (backwards compatibility). I was unlucky, being a PAL user, the BC ones are expesive and are not made anymore. But the new NTSC 80gb has it. Correct me if I am wrong. xP

I am equipped for whatever comes. Is it really all that bad though? Better graphics, controls, there are trophies/achievements and so on.

I hope it doesn't leave PS2. I will never get a PS3, it just has no variety of games like the PS2 did. Most games are war and shooting games, and "AWESOME GRAPHICS!!!!" is not a good reason to buy it.

Its doubtful. I'm sure by next year, PS3 will have saturated the market enough that a PS2 release would not be as profitable. However, anything is possible.

They're going to officially stop making PS2 games in 2011, so not long live the PS2. I just went a bought a PS3, DEFINATELY worth the buy. Also, some pretty good games are starting to be released for it

You do realise that you can buy a 360 for like, nothing. There cheaper than the Wii now! Well, the arcade version is but the pro is like the same price as a Wii (last time I looked)
