I'm excited to see what wave 3 will have but I'm in no rush to pick em up (cept eye brawl if he's there) ill get em here and there just like I have been. Hell only s2 I have are cynder and chop (and legendaries I suppose). I'm Savin them for "nothin new but I'm getting something today" days. After Xmas I'll start getting like 1 or 2 a week. Spaces em out nicely. If you rush out and get them all now then what? Start rumoring the crap out of the next wave?

Due to lack of details I am not sure when they said Shroomboom if it's the lightcore or a regular single pack.
We know they are releasing the lightcore shroomboom on the 22nd for shipping but I would guess the 23rd for stores.

It was discussed on another thread that, from other reports on the interwebs that it appears that no giant will be released in this "Wave." My guess is that it just maybe be a mini wave. Anyways that could change if some start to pop up as they will.

Noone listens to zapnorris. It was ONE BOX that got opened. Also we're still over a week away from the unboxing. Why wouldn't there be a new giant? No one has confirmed either way (except a gs employee brother) but regardless it's not confirmed what all is on the list. More boxes can come. More boxes can be opened.

Hey, listen to me. My sister works at GameStop, and she checked out the stock just for me. She said she saw Thumpback in one of the boxes, maybe even more. She even got a glimpse of the Scorpion Striker battle pack. So I am SURE that there will be a giant.

Waiting a week or two will do nothing, kids will be looking for Skylanders for the rest of the winter.

That's odd, I work part time as a manager at Gamestop. And none of the Gamestops have gotten:

-A release date on this wave.
-Shipments of any of them.
-Confirmation on when we will be getting any new ones and
-Gamestop NEVER has info on what is coming in the actual Skylanders boxes, just a generic description of "Skylndrs-Single-12CT" <===Something to that effect.
-Company policy: Only store managers can open shipments of street dated product to count it and then reseal, any other employees don't really get to poke/nose around.

That being said, I've seen some nutty things happen, but I know for a fact... as of right now... Gamestop has not received shipments of Wave 3 (not nationwide, maybe some fluke shipments out there) and GS also has no date on any of the actual "Wave 3" or any such thing: see above about the shipments for Skylanders shipments being very generic.

Wait. From what you said, I remember something. She said she got someone to check it out for her, which I guess was her manager. When she went into the stock room with him, he told her what he saw. He said he saw a giant "shark guy", which only makes since to be Thumpback. And she also said she got to get a glimpse of the Scorpion Striker pack on her way out.
