His kids are at the shops but he just disappears. Does his wife also disappear?

It took me ages to find the shop which sold the smallest money bag (to keep more gems in) but I finally found it in Dragon Shores.

He just goes you don't see him on the game again but you see the little bears, which is odd because in the game manual it says that you buy stuff off moneybags and you don't

I think when Moneybags walked into the Bear Forest he got attacked by wolves or some other creature and his son had made a safe escape to the shop in Moleville and just began working there and most likely didn't care about Moneybags because remember how Moneybags was being a bit brash to his son and kept on stating "SILENCE MERTON!!" No wonder Moneybags wasn't in the other series of Spyro.
