Well, quite honestly, I don't blame anyone. If you see a new character out on the shelves, you're gonna try to get it. Even if it's not technically supposed to be out yet, and there's problems with the checkout or whatever. Finding the things you want can be a headache with this line and finding things early is nothing short of a godsend.
I made a lot of rants on this in the first game street date break thread and over how it's selfish trying to just get something a few days early and risking other people's jobs over it by exploiting the loopholes(REGARDLESS OF WHO CAUSED THE LOOPHOLE TO EXIST).
But at this rate of occurrence I don't give 8-bit any more. If something ends up happening allow them to take the problematic outcomes and if something doesn't... Well. Patience has no MEANING anymore. People won't stop. It's stupid, but it's the truth.
I agree with you Nibelilt. It's not going to stop. I just wish people had a little more self control these days. I've worked for half my life. I have seen the worst of people and also the best of people. However, it is more and more these days seeing the worst out of people. It is sad.
Why is there a topic on this? If someone has the nerve to take a toy from a children's game and sell it online for 100+ bucks before it comes out, what's stopping them from doing this?

I think I missed the part where there was some kind of competition to collect these toys. Keep in mind that this is what they are, and that nobody is entitled to them, and that it doesn't matter if someone else has them first. It's not like we're fighting over the right to eat here. If a street date is broken, then that's between the store and the customer. For the rest of us, it lets us know what has shipped and when to be expecting it, thereby saving us uninformed/wasteful trips to the store in pursuit of wild geese--because doing that isn't free. I'm of the mind that broken street dates are helpful, and only benefit the forum by cluing us in to what exactly is going on with the convoluted Activision shipping/release schedule. There have been multiple times where broken street dates have led me right to the figures with minimal wasted driving/time, and I'm certainly not alone in using them for that.
Spoons, I'm sure glad that you got it. A few days early. I mean if I really really really really wanted one that bad I could order it from Ebay. As they have been released in Canada for a few weeks now.
I just don't get some people. How they think it is okay to clearly violate something and come and brag about it. Not only will it cost other people more in the long run it could potentially cost some person their job.
I didnt really really really want it that bad and I was in the store for something else but if they have it on the shelf for people to buy then i'll buy it!...i didnt drag an employee into the back and force them to give me one and certainly didnt hold anyone to gunpoint. They put it on the shelf and sold it to me of their own free will. If that is because they are not doing their job right and they get fired well hey you know what!.....so be it. If I didnt do my job right you know what would happen?...i'd get fired!...thats how it works!!.....no one said life was easy.
You know you are right they are at fault here a bit too. Maybe instead of buying it, maybe say are these supposed to be out yet? Or when the computer said hey it is not available yet. Then say oh well I guess I will come back on the 22 or w/e date it supposed to be out.
I never said life was easy, just stating that maybe people should think of others before instead of me first me first.
