Okay i saw at ToysRUs a purple lip chill.

Instead of red or blue it was purple o.o

but didnt have enough money so i hidden her in store to pick her up next time i am over their.


Anyone else found this weird single pack chill with purple lips?

I know it blue/red out their but i never saw purple before o.o i take screenshot next time i go to Toys R Us or some way i get $10 to show u guys.

Maybe Activision didn't make up their mind about her figure.

if anyone really thinks this is a variant, I'm pretty sure one could counterfiet it easily by a simple brush on the lips. With paint of course. Paint is what I was talking about.

a variant is any variation of a figure, whether intentional or accidental. Red lip qualifies.

i bet the painting thing on one machine had blue or red in it, and then they switched it to having the opposite color. and now thats why there are blue, red, and purple lipped chills. purple being the rarest because it would have been made by the tiny bit of one color left in the gun/brush/machine/tube/'lip colornator 5000'

ummm their was plenty of copies of chill in stock like 10-25 copies.... this one i noticed had purple lips that i am planing on picking up within 1-2 days....

Yes! When I was at Wal-Mart and I saw one (who I already had) and like twenty s and I saw some little kid who guess only had and and saw them. I heard him say that he had never seen a before and he had like no reaction to so I'm guessing he had seen him before. And guess what? HE GOT DROBOT! He is like the most common Skylander EVER! I see at least ten of them every time I go to a store! Poor kid. Wham-Shell isn't getting a repose and he will probably still be rare so it's that kids loss since has his Series 1, Series 2, AND Lightcore!

I love when someone hides something cause I always look for hidden stuff, and then I buy it. That's how I got a few Walmart skylanders. muhahaha.

And hiding stuff is fine. If is about the hunt for something, smartest Hunters get their prey. (me finding your hidden things)

for something as small as lip color only, i could hardly call it a variant. it's not like theres an entire chill whos colored purple or something. I was variant hunting yesterday, and found that most chills i saw had the pinkish lips

It was running about half and half from the figures I saw at GameStop yesterday--half of them have blue lips, the other half have purple lips.

Blue and Red.....soooo does this mean to go ahead and let me little man open it..

Here's the Purple lipped Chill in a single pack. This pic doesn't really do it justice, BUT there is definitely a pronounced difference from the red/pink lipped Chills.




I've also found red/pink lipped Chills in single and triple packs.

in certain light my red lipped looks purple. probably the case here.

My IQ officially dropped 5 points from reading this posting about "variants" notice the quotations, of Chill. Honestly I don't know what the fuss is about different lip colors on Chill. The different colors on the lips are caused from the different stages of frost bite that Chill gets from making ice.

Hey I think my Pop Fizz could be a variant. He is missing a couple of teeth and appears to have gloves on. Anyone else seen this?

You know whats wierd...my Fright Rider has BLACK LINES on his base. No, not the skull, but the ORANGE on the bottom! Has anyone else encountered this?

I mean I don't see the big fuss. Though I am glad I managed to grab one with blue lips (Without realizing it) BUT I did go to the store yesterday and did see a purple lipped chill. I just chuckled and put it back. It is a bit funny if you really think about it.

Me nope I don't have a pic, I didn't bring my camera or anything (Sadly I'm not with the times, my phone doesn't have a camera on it) lol. But I think someone did post pics of one up above if I'm not mistaken.
I mean I guess the one I saw would be considered purple? I was dark like the one I saw up above (in photo), but it wasn't a deep purple, it was a tad lighter in colour but not by much. If memory serves me well that is.

I should just bring my camera with me everywhere from now on :/

Saying their target audience is "anyone who buys it on the slightest whim" is changing the meaning. They aren't marketing it to the people who will buy it on the slightest whim. its for kids, sure there are other demographics who purchase the product, but that doesnt change the target audience. Target audience is who they intend to buy their product and who they advertise and market it towards. Every company and product is going to have a target audience, and skylanders is no different.

I saw a whirlwind today her horn was almost completely pink.

^ I think that's just the quality decreasing like what we saw in the first game.

However I did buy a chill with purple lips today, mainly so I have an excuse to keep one in the package lol

I've noticed that almost all of the Chill figures I've seen so far have blue lips, except at our Walmart, which has half blue/half purple. I think the purple is a neat variant so I picked that one up (it seems like the purple ones have worse paint jobs).

^i totally agree. I picked up one for the same reason and its not as sharp as my blue lipped one. I think this is what we saw last year again. The first batches were awesome and then the quality declined

Errrr... No. It looks almost exactly the same as the Cherry Lips.

Also, the red lipped variants would have come first due to being the prototypes. Not later.
