So, the Aus members here were rubbing it in the US's faces, that they got the game early. Well, what if I said - and this should make Nib very angry - that we get wave 2 first?

So far, this is only in the US, and I am trying not to spoil it, because of stupid scalpers around these forums using us for info, but wave 2 will be out before Austrailia.

How many days before Australia and other PAL territories? What if I said 39 days before (going off of Nibs 41 days theory)?

What if I said that people in the US can pick up wave 2 as early as 10/22? YEP! It's going down on that day.

Now, I fully expect some yahoo to come in here and spill the beans, because they can't keep a secret when there are scalpers here who will use that information to their advantage, but until that person comes and spills the beans, my lips are sealed other than to say wave 2 will be out on 10/22.

I think I will be enjoying my Sprocket and Flashwing come Monday, while Nib and the fellow Aussies do this -

If anyone can take any guesses, I won't say if they're right or wrong, but they are welcome to try and guess how wave 2 will be available in the US come 10/22.

So, round 1 went to the PAL region. Round 2 goes to the US.

Wait what o.o 10/22? like the day after US release? Will they be in store? or is it online orders?

I can answer that. So far, all I know is store(s) only.

EDIT: I wish I could say, really I do. I remember when the first game came out, scalpers flat out came here and said thanks for hooking them up with info, while others stealth read these forums but brag about it on Facebook, and some idiot posted a picture here, of 25 Camos and 25 Warnados which he sold for 50 dollars each, but bragged about it here.

hmm. sucky part is i get paid friday. then blowing most of it on the wave 1 figures for my collection v.v if i were to find wave 2 figures i dont think id even be able to get em D:

1. It's to be expected. You get the Wii U first as well and the second wave is meant to conincide with that, so I'm guessing that you'll get it on the 17th. Also, you Americans rubbed [wrongfully] buying the game early from Walmart more before I steeped in. Either way TRU ships everywhere now. So.

Well, we don't get them on the 17th, while you get them on the 29th, Nibe.

We get wave 2 in 4 days.

So far, this is stores only. But the whole US vs. AU thing was a joke, really. Just having some fun.

While poor Europe just sits in the corner still waiting for any news about Wave Two at all lol

Lucky Shroomy_Boomy is by my side, I don't even want to wait till November for Sprocket

All I know is some of the "Wave 2" characters I had pre ordered from Toys'R'Us are still showing to ship on 10-21-12. I still havent received any cancellation notice. Hopefully the order goes through. Did anyone else get any pre orders from there?

How did you find out that Wave 2 was coming out on the 22nd? Do you know whats included in that Wave?

I'm fully aware of GameMaster's madness when it comes to Skylanders, that doesn't, however, validate this claim. I believe it more coming from him, but it seems odd to release an entire 2nd wave the day after launch, obviously you won't see me complaining if its true, I'm just skeptical.

It makes since since Toys R Us says it will ship out my large group of pre-ordered skylander figures (wave 1 plus a bunch other figs, all lightcore figures included, and some for Nibelilt too!) on Oct 22... i've been telling myself to "wait and see" just in case so i don't get my hopes up, but i just checked it and all items (wave one and beyond) are still set to ship out on the 22nd!!

Ah, heck, whatever. Yes, it's TRU. Wave 2 is exclusive to TRU for a number of days, before all other stores get them.

I too am hoping my preorders ship on the 22nd. The sooner I get all characters, the better.

My pre order is still showing that as well. I also have hot dog on order and it shows to be shipping with it too. Still holding my breath till it says "Shipped"

Wait, but how will they ship two Hot Dogs to me if he's not out yet? If they just don't ship anything...

In stores, it's the same thing as they did in March. You get a ticket good for ONE Skylander. Depending on how many people are in line, they will hand people more than one ticket, after everyone in line has at least 1.

I physically held the printed email in my hand. They are getting wave 2 on Saturday with neon green labels on the box that specifically says they are not to sell them until the 22nd.

Nah, if any info I post doesn't have much credit, ever, I won't post it. I'm not one of these internet dwellers that like to lie about product availability or useful info. Had I not seen the email with my own eyes, I wouldn't have made the post, due to the fact any TRU employee could be rattling off words out of their butt.

However, I've read their whole policy about the 10/22 event. I've read every little detail.

I hope my online orders ship, because I was allowed to order as many as I needed. However, they never offered wave 2 in Triple Packs, so I am going that day to try and get the correct stuff I need.

While I'm excited wave 2 is coming out so soon, this was honestly the first thing that came to my mind after reading this topic.

Man I hope this is true for Canada as well as the states, thought it's going to be a pain in the butt to get to the store two days in a row *sigh*

I thank providence that I have a friend who works at a US TRU store. Even if they sell out on the first release day, I am sure to get them sooner than waiting domestically.

I don't think Hot Dog will be a part of that wave, despite being listed as shipping 10/21.

TRU took order pages off the site anyway so this topic is still useless for scalpers.

I'll only believe it when I see people with the characters in their hands. It seems like a really stupid promotion to give the entire next batch early and punish those who don't have the option of shopping online. If people have Sprocket a month before I do, I'll be really mad.

Yeah, I am hoping when Monday comes around, barely anyone shows up because -

1: My local store doesn't get trucks on Monday.
2: It's a workday and kids are in school.
3: No one would think that new Skylanders would be out the very next day.

I have people going with me, anyway.

My ex is helping me, as well and my mother and step dad. So, if anything, I am in for at least 1 Flashwing, Hothead, Sprocket, and another Sprocket, Flashwing, or Hothead. If no one shows up, and it ends up only being us, us 4 will get multiple vouchers and we will able to get more. If not, there's always my preorders on TRU.com.

So wave 2 on 10-22? Is that just for TRU or other retailers as well?

Don't believe it. That doesn't make sense to market like crazy and then sneak sell product...

it wouldnt surprise me if they got them early, TRU always seems to get the most/best exclusives/releases.

Because TRU is Activizzy's main sales partner.

Don't believe me then. Fine by me. It's also fine by people that shop for Skylanders at the TRU you might frequent, because there's more of a chance for them to get them come Monday.

However, when I post pics Monday, I don't imagine I will have to tell anyone I told them so.

Look, man, I read their email about it. It was 3 pages long with instructions. One of the instructions was to make sure they were NOT placed out Sunday with wave 1. That's how I know it's legit. TRU seems to know wave 1 is coming out on Sunday, but said that wave 2 is not to be put out with wave 1 and the starters on 10/21, which is why each box is marked with a green neon label instead of orange.

But again, don't believe me. Don't be mad, though, if you want wave 2 sooner rather than later, but miss out, because I'm just another internet dweller who likes to troll with lies.

My response to number 2. My school has inservice on Monday.

I feel some belief to all this. But i work on monday, so it would suck a bit. Also one day of skylanders hunting on sunday will be enough to handel as it is, for both my wallet and me!

Well...I pretty much am gonna say told ya so on Monday as I heard they are putting out single figures on Monday, not Sunday, so the likelihood is they will be wave 1 out on Monday and no single figures on Sunday the 21st. That's what my TRU is doing. Just starter packs on Sunday. They will also have a Skylanders rep there to field questions as well. So I will be sure to pick his/her brain for any info I can.

Well...when has TRU been logical. That's what I was told they were doing. I pointed it out. I think it's an interpretation thing. Maybe they figure it gets people in the store 2 days in a row? Who knows why stores do what they do. My Best Buy is even more clueless. Target as well. We have to rely on our own diligence to get the info as always.

Must just be your store then, Xero. I read the email they printed for me, and they state that only wave 1 and starters go out Sunday, and they didn't mention a limit or line for that one. However, tomorrow, they will get their shipment of wave 2 via FedEx, and they will be marked with green neon labels. Those are not to be out with wave 1 as the instructions specifically states. Instead, they will email bomb certain people alerting them to wave 2 on Sunday, with the event being on Monday. They will hand out one voucher to each customer, according to how many figures they get in. Once all vouchers have been handed out, if there are extras, they will hand out a second voucher to each guest starting with the front of the line.

I wish it wasn't just a TRU thing, though. If all else fails, I still have these on preorder through tru.com.

Wait a second; the Toys'R'Us reservation card for Giants that I received from that Toys'R'Us you're talking about says, "Reserve now and we'll GUARANTEE a Skylanders Giant single character* will be available for purchase at time of pick-up!"

"*Selection varies and we cannot guarantee availability of a particular character."
They typed out the word "GUARANTEE" in all caps like that to draw attention to it so they have to let me purchase at least one single figure on Sunday.

So will this be at all TRUs in the US? Or just select ones? Cause my dad told me I can only get 2 characters now, and the rest at Christmas. Sprocket and Flashwing just happen to be my 2 favorites, so I can get those 2 and my little brother can get the battle pack for Shroomboom, cause that's his favorite.

Thanks Gamemaster for the info. This forum helped me get all the skylanders for the first game for my 5yr old son. He is already fired up for giants, so as many pre-orders as I have, I still want to get to store to have them in hand. All he wants is a Skylander Christmas!

I'm in the clear. I have school on Monday, but not very many kids like skylanders in my area, and there are no users from my area. So I guess after school on Monday, Imma go and get one ticket and get a Sprocket, along with Crusher. Then head down the mall and buy a Golden Dragonfire Cannon Pack. Then triumphantly march home and stare mesmerized at Crusher shining on my portal.
