Well regardless, what do you guys think her attacks will be? I think:

A- Wrench Melee
B- Lazer (Possibly limited? See the barrel on her back makes me think that...)
Z- Something to do with her boots- a running attack like Flameslinger maybe? Or a non-limited projectile, if a laser would be limited?

IT WOULD BE A CORKSCREWW DASH OR FIX SOMETHING UP!

She'd better be in Wave 1, because I'm not playing the game until I can get her. Really looking forward to her, and I have been ever since the first leak of her toy. She and Bouncer are high priority.

Don't know why people don't like sprocket. I mean all you are seeing is the pic but haven't seen her in action. I was the same way with drobot and come to find out he became my fav so I don't judge by just design anymore.

Sprocket looks to be a great Melee character because she has some great sound effects. The sounds of the wrench hitting enemies are the kind of brutal exaggerated cartoon sound effects that more games need these days, because while not as realistic, it's far more satisfying to smack a baddie around and be able to hear the pain.

I love Sprocket's Bio as it's a classic revenge/rescue story, and that just makes her so much cooler that she could be in some kind of 80s action movie.

The opening scene of her trailer makes her look totally awesome, and actually makes for a great desktop wallpaper.



I'm really looking forward to Sprocket, and I'll be doing my first playthrough of both games with just her and Crusher. If the rumours are true and Sprocket, Bouncer and Crusher are all in Wave 1, that would mean all the new characters I REALLY want will be available at launch, and I won't have to wait until wave 5 to get the characters I actually want like I had to with Warnado and Wham-Shell. Just one more month until I can get her! 8)

My reation when people refer to me as a huge Sprocket fan.

Sprocket, sprocket, sprocket... where do I begin. I like this character. Her upgrades so far are very cool. I really, Really, REALLY like the tank! Yes, it takes WAY too long for her to build it and get into it (that is the cost), but once in it, she can cruise around and blast away like there is no tomorrow! The remote turret does a very nice job on enemies as well. You can toss out what seems like an unlimited amount of her land mines too.

Another really cool feature of the tank, one that might not have been intended, is that on ice levels, the tank does not slide. So in Chapter 5, Glacier Gully with those darned ice bowls, just spawn the tank the drive to wherever you want to go. Easy as pie. It should work the same in EOI.

Only con to the tank is that it does not work on bounce pads. You must eject from it to bounce. Oh well, you cannot have everything.

I look forward to completing her upgrades to see how the rest of them are.

I find it hilariously ironic- no I mean just hilarious- everyone seems to be loving Sprocket's gameplay, but from what I can hear everyone seems disappointed in playing Flashwing.

I like Sprocket. She's Skylanders' answer to Roland or Axton from Borderlands, and the same things that make those two characters so effective work to her advantage as well. Especially on the turret path.

Hey now! To be fair, I have not had a lot of time to work with Flashwing. I will give FW a go tonight and see how some of the upgrades are and how a run or two through chp 3 goes.

BTW - I am getting seriously SICK of farming the game room elemental door vault for loot...but there is just not a lot of loot to be found in the chapters (honestly, there isn't..). Anyone disagree?

If these things were free, I'd agree with you. But if I have to pay 8-10 bucks a pop, I'll settle with getting what I want based on looks, even if the gameplay sucks.

Just saying based on what I've heard. Someone said in that guide topic I made they were disappointed in her main attack, and I personally don't think the others look that good. But regardless, opinions ARE armpits- they all stink and have no point! Plus, this is a Sprocket topic, so, I, the me to blame, say we just talk about Sprocket rather than the gigantic Flashwing fan base she faces.

^ Hey, if Sprocket has a better moveset and gameplay than Flashy, I have no problem with that. I'm just saying if these things were free or cost 90% less, I'd see these two (as well as everyone else) equally, and probably play with Sprocket more often.
