Welcome to the new skylanders story, The Sky Legends : Book One The Shadows!
Plot:
After defeating Kaos, The skylanders face a new threat. Malefor has risen to power. He has begun to convince everyone that the skylanders are evil. Now they must face their most dreaded enemy. The people they are trying to protect.
I will hopefully get one chapter a day. Starting tommorrow. I will be off the website for spring break ( going on vacation).

CHAPTER 1 PART 1
A SURPRISE

Cody began to walk down the street listening carefully to the noises on the street. The news this morning had shocked him.
" There have been strange sightings all over the world. There have been sightings in Ireland of real pots of gold and a real gremlin. In Hawaii, people have seen a lava monster walking around the nearest volcanoes. Many people in California are in shock because the lifeguard stations are manned by sharks."
It reminded him so much of his favorite game, Skylanders. His little sister, Rose, Pulled at his jacket.
" What?" Cody asked. She turned him.
" Do you think the skylanders are actually on Earth now?" She mused. "Cause it sounds like Trigger Happy is in Ireland."
"Don't believe the news," He told her. " It's not always true."
Cody new he believed what he just, but he didn't want her to freak out. Slowly, he leaned to her face.
" Now listen," He whispered. " I truly believe it. I believe that Eruptor is in Hawaii."
" I want to go meet him! And Trigger Happy! And Terrafin!" Rose cheered.
" Now how are we supposed to get to Ireland. And Hawaii. And California! We live in Tennessee!"
She began to start to cry. " Now Don't cry! We could ask mom to take us. She might believe us" Cody charmed.
Rose wiped her eyes and started to smile. " Maybe!" She shouted.

You might want to change the title. "Another Skylanders Story" isn't excalty attracting...

CHAPTER 1 PART 2
A SURPRISE

Cody continued to walk, Rose at his side. " Lalalala," She sang.
Cody took out his iPod and put his earbuds in. His favorite song came on, but he couldn't here it over the wind. "Whoa!" He exclaimed.
Rose, whose hair was blowing around in the wind, looked up at him. "Cody! What's happening?!" She asked over the wind.
Cody looked up at the sky. It was completely blue, not a cloud in sight. " I don't know he told her. "Maybe it just got windy."
Cody wacthed as a miniature funnel cloud swirled down the street over. " Rose come on!" he shouted grabbing her and running into the yard nearest. He dashed towards the shed, felt to see if it was locked, and pused the door open.


CHAPTER 1 PART 3
A SURPRISE

Cody sat there, Rose hugging him tight. He listened outside, but heard nothing. He looked over and saw the rakes hanging along the wall.
Suddenly, the shed started to shake. One of the rakes fell on the ground. "AAAH!!!" Rose shouted. He hugged even tighter protecting her from the vigorus shaking.
Just then, parts of the shed started to rip off. He thought of his mom, who would be driving to work right now. Pulling Rose close, He closed his eyes.
Then parts of the roof started to fall. Cody reached out with his arm and covered Rose's head.
Then he noticed that the shaking had stopped and the shed was falling apart on its own. He reopened his eyes and let go of Rose.
"Whoa," He stuttered.
"Yay!" Rose cheered.
"Hello!" said a small blue turtle. "I'm Warnado."

I don't think anyone will give some any ways. The Sky Legends is just the title. I was going to call the fakes Team Sky.


CHAPTER 2 PART 1
THE STORY

Cody was still confused. They had walked back to his house and Warnado was explaining to them every thing.
"What had first happened was Malefor, a purely evil dragon, began to convince everyone of skylanders that we were pure evil!!"
"Why would he do that?!" asked Rose.
"Because. He is the one who is evil," Warnado answered. "Afterwards, raids of people started attacking Core Island! They were led by Malefor's minions!"
"So, then what?" asked Cody.
"Hugo decided it wasn't safe for us on skylands." The turtle replied." He decided to send us all to Earth."
"Why not just tell the people he is evil?" Rose asked.
"Because," Warnado turned to her. " Malefor's influence is too strong for us. Hugo must have known tht someone on Earth could help us!"

CHAPTER 2 PART 2
THE STORY

Cody started to wonder. "What if we found all the skylanders and went back?" He accidentally blurted out. "You know so we can stop Malefor and all."
Warnado looked at him. "That's what I'm talking about! Hugo needed help from Earth, so he sent us here!"
"Why didn't he just send one of you?" Rose asked.
"Because, the Earth is huge. There are plenty of people here. How could one skylander find the one out of billions of people?" Warnado replied.
"So you think it's us?" Cody asked.
"Yes," Warnado answered. "Yes I do"
"Why us?" He asked.
Because," The small turtle said. "You guys are special. You believe."

CHAPTER 3 PART 1
CORE ISLAND

Hugo was scared. He did not know what to do. He had sent the skylanders to Earth again. But now, no one was there to protect the skylands from Malefor.
He dashed to Gurglefin, a gill man.
" Hey Gurglefin, We need some help. Could you go and get some of your non- Malefor believer friends to cme and help me?"
"Sure. Let's see there's Mudfish. Could he help?" The gillmen replied.
"Sure.Anyone who wants to help us."
Okay then. Off I go."

Powers: He shots mud balls at the enemies. He makes large mud puddles
Appearance: He lookes like Gill Grunt except he is brown. His back pack is a clear tank full of mud. He is holding a fire hose connected to his pack.

CHAPTER 3 PART 2
CORE ISLAND

Hugo walked towards the core. He began to type a message on his laptop.
"Have you found any yet, Angie?" He typed
"No, but I think Cody might have." She replied.
"How can you tell?" He sked
Because there is a turtle upstairs."

Hocus had been walking forever."Where is the Core of Light?" He asked.
He noticed someone watching him. " Who's there?" He shouted.
A small dragon-ish shadow dashed forward.
"Who are you?!" Hocus shouted.
The shadow stopped running.
"Hi! I'm ..."

CHAPTER 3 PART 3
CORE ISLAND


"Hi! I'm Fyra!" said the small, red dragon.
"Well, I'm Hocus, one of the last two orcs left in Skylands," replied the orc. "May I ask, what are you doing here?"
Fyra blinked. "Well the same thing as you, right?"
Hocus thought for a bit. "You're looking for the skylanders too?!"
"Of course! Why else would I be in these dangerous jungles?" Fyra exclaimed.
Just then, a humming noise sounded. It was loud and distinct, clearly from a motor of sorts.
"What in Skylands is that noise?!" Hocus shouted over the loud droning.
Fyra, her tail flailing, stood in a defensive crouch.
"What is it?!" Hocus shouted.
"Our worst nightmare," Fyra hissed. "The drow and their air craft!"
Hocus suddenly fell to the ground. Soon, so did Fyra, her fire mark shining in undergrowth of the large jungle.

A small rabbit and a jackalope hunkered in the bushes a few feet away from the drow helicopters. They had just witnessed a terrorifying scene. A small, fire red dragon and a wizard orc were knocked out by the drow and captured.
"Ferne!! What should we do?!" said the frantic flaming bunny.
The jackalope looked down at her partner face. "We should wait to see what happens, Flaffy."
"What about the skylanders? They could help us, right?" Flaffy asked.
"Yeah!!" Ferne exclaimed. Let's go!!!"

Wow your so good at this! Its amazing!

CHAPTER 4
ESCAPE

Ferne quickly began to run at top speeds. Flaffy began to roll quickly. Flames began to build up around her small body, burning her surrounding to a crisp.
"We'll never make it!!" Ferne shouted.
"Yes we will, just so long as we keep going."
Suddenly, Ferne skidded to a halt. She quickly dashed toward Flaffy, gripping the small rabbit's scruff, stopping her from rolling any farther.
"What was that for!" She shouted.
"Look!!" Ferne exclaimed.
Down below them was a large, vast gorge strecthing between them and the large Core Island.
"How do we cross?" asked a panicked Flaffy.
Ferne began to think. "Grab hold of my back," She commanded.
Flaffy looked confused, but, reluctantly, she slowly gripped the soft fur on Ferne's body. She hauled herself up on Ferne's back and sat calmly, gripping her tightly.
Ferne backed up, and quickly charged forward.
They leaped.

Hocus awoke in a bamboo cage. Next to him, Fyra began to rise.
The sun began to let some light in their rather dark prison. That's when Hocus noticed all the others. There was a robotic dragon that looked a lot like Drobot, A small purgile, A strange purple cat, and many more.
"Ha!" He exclaimed turning around.
"What is it?" whispered Fyra.
"The Drows are idiots," He declared. "They left my staff with me."
He reached over and grabbed it. Then, Hocus said a strange spell and blew up the lock.
"Ladies first," He said as bowed and opened the door.
Fyra blasted some other locks. Other prisoners walked out of their cages. Together, they marched out.

CHAPTER 5
DECISION


"Do you accept?" Warnado asked.
"Of course we do!" Rose cheered. "Right, Cody?"
Cody thought for a moment. It's so far away, he thought. But it would be so fun!!
"What about Mom, Rose?" Cody asked. "And Buster?" Cody said pointing at their beagle hound.
Rose looked confused for a moment. "But they would come with right?" She questioned. "Buster loves Eruptor!"
As if on que, Buster leaned over and licked the small Eruptor figurine. "Arrooffmmpphh!" He called.
Cody leaned down and rubbed his head. "Well, yeah, but Mom still doesn't understand the concept of putting a toy on a portal. She too used to Atari and Super NES."
"What's Atari?" Rose asked.
"Yeah," Warnado said. "And Super NES?"
"Uggh.."Cody sighed. "Nothing that's too important right now."
"So, what about your mother?" Warnado wondered. "What will she do?"
"Well, we could bri- wait," Cody said. "Do you hear that?"
Toward their basement door, they could hear small footsteps coming up the stairs.
"Cody, who is it?!" said Rose frantically.
"I don't know, Rose," Cody said. "Maybe it's Mom. Maybe she had to get something before she left.
They heard the basement door open and close. Out into living room walked a tall, lithe woman with curly brown hair. She had pure green eyes like Cody. She was on the phone, argueing with someone about her work.
"Quick!" Cody commanded. "Warnado get into my backpack!"
The small blue turtle hustled into the back pack, squeezing into the big pocket. Rose zipped him up, then looked at her mom.
"Hi, Mommy!" She cheered.
Their mother looked down at them. "Samuel, I'm going to have to call you back. Bye!" She said.
She gave them an evil eye. "Why aren't you at school?!" She demanded.
"Because the storm!" Cody argued.
"Well, I need to talk to you. All three of you," She stated.
"Darn it!" Rose snapped. "Warnado, our cover is blown!"
The turtle hauled himself and waddled up to their mom. "Hello, ma'am. I'm Warnado!"
"I know who you are," She said. "I am Angie. Dr. Angie Sanderson."
Angie looked up at her children. "Follow me," She commanded. "I'm going to show you the basement."

CHAPTER 6
THE BASEMENT

Angie held Rose's hand as they moved down the stairs. Cody gripped Warnado tightly.
"Could you please tell me what a Super NES is?" Warnado pleaded.
"I told you already," Cody groaned. "It's a gaming system."
"Oh it is?" Warnado asked. "I thought you being sarcastic."
Cody groaned. Is this really what I want to deal with for ever? He thought to himself. He facepalmed.
Rose jumped at the last step. "Aaah! It's so dark!" She exclaimed.
"That's because the lights aren't on," Angie said.
"Oh.." Rose realized.
Warnado hopped down and hit the light switch on his way down.
One by one the lights turned on in a row. What was reveiled shocked everyone. Except Angie.
"Woah!!" Cody exclaimed "What is this place?"
She looked at him. It looked like there was a tear building up in her eyes. She quickly wiped it away.
"This was your father's lab before he-" Her voice cracked. "Before he left."
"What's back there?" Warnado asked clearly marveled.
"Oh that door?" Angie replied. "That's just where the water heater and stuff are."
"What's a water heater?" The turtle asked.
Rose groaned. "Even I know what that is!"
"What?!" Warnado complained. "I'm from skylands. Not Earth!"
"Let's just go look, Mom," Cody groaned. "I'm tired of all these questions!"
"Okay," She moaned. "Let's go."
They walked forward toward the door. Angie pushed it open.
Warnado wobbled in, staring in awe at the large tank. "It's beautiful. But it's not the only thing in here." He nodded towards a shadow hunkering in the corner.
Cody gasped as it walked forward. He stood there, jaw gaping, looking at the familiar purple scales of his favorite skylander.

CHAPTER 7
NEW FRIENDS


Hocus and the others walked out of their prison. Fyra flame mark was flaring. The small purgile, Taros's pumpkin tail was shining. Leokon, the purple cat was growing spikes out of her neck.
"Robofreak is ready for battle!" said the copy of Drobot.
The noise alerted the drows and they all jumped out of their perches. Drow witchs were coming out from behind the trees.
"Attack!!" yelled Hocus.

Ferne leaped the gap. I can make it, she thought. I'm not risking her life, am I?
"AAAAHHHH!!" Flaffy started to yell as Ferne took the jump.
They soared. Ferne could feel the air ruffle her belly fur. She knew they would make it. She just knew it.
They flew for about 30 long seconds. But they were only halfway and Ferne was already starting to fall downward.
"AAAAAHH!!" The jackalope started to scream.
Just as they were about to fall, something tugged at their furs. They were being pulled up. Both girls stopped screaming. They were carried to the land then dropped. Two female dragons landed beside them.
"I am Zelda," said the purple one.
"And I am Luna," said the other one.
"We are looking for the skylanders as I trust you are too?" Zelda asked.
"Yes," said Flaffy.
"But we need your help!" Ferne exclaimed.
"Our friends were captured by the Drow!"

CHAPTER 8
SKY NOMADS


Zelda looked at the two small skylanders in front of her. "We will help," she said.

Hugo ran around frantically. He didn't know what to do.
"I know!" He realized. "I'll look around to see what I can do to help!"
He began to turn his head. "Flynn is showing his abs to Cali, Cali is ignoring him, T-Bone is telling Arbo a stupid joke, Whirlwind is talking to three other skylanders, Arbo is la- Wait! Whirlwind?"
He hustled toward Whirlwind. "Whirlwind! How did you get back here?!"

"How did you get back here?!" Hugo called.
Luna looked at him. What does he mean Whirlwind? she thought to herself.
"Hello Hugo!" She called. "Pleasure to meet you, but I'm not Whirlwind. I'm Luna."
Zelda turned. "I am Zelda."
"I'm Flaffy!"
"And I'm Ferne!"
"Hello!" Hugo replied. "I am sorry Luna. I thought you were Whirlwind."
"We need help!" Ferne called. "Our friends were captured!"
"Oh, that's why your here," Hugo replied. "Let's go!"

Farther away, in the Drow Jungle, a group of people dashed through the woods. At the lead was a a blue-scaled dragoness. Along her spine was white fur.
Close beside her was a Nova Fire Fox. "When will we get there, Midnight?"
Midnight didn't stop moving, just talked. "Soon Comet."
A pegasus came flying up. She landed in the front. "I can't walk back there," She said. "Blascrox farted again. Gropp is laughing so hard he's coughing."
Midnight sighed. "Flora! I told you to stay back there and keep an eye on them! You know, not all Sky Nomads are as sane as you!"
Flora looked offended. "Sorry Midnight. I didn't mean to upset you," She apologized. Flora turned around.
Serico, a sea serpent, moved alone, to focused on helping to talk to others.
Midnight stopped in front of the Drow camp. "Sky Nomads!" She called. "We are here! Let's stop the Drow from getting rid of the whole forest!"
They all charged forward. Any Drow that got in the way were attacked.
They continued to progress forward towards the heart of the camp.
"Midnight!" Serico called. "Who are they?"
Over towards what appeared to be their prison was a large group of people like them.
Midnight was confused. Did the skylanders beat us here? She thought.
"I don't know, Serico!" She replied.
Midnight glanced at her team and then at the others. She made a command decsion.
"Sky Nomads!" She shouted. "Let's go help them!"
They dashed towards the others. Midnight ran up to the orc. "I'm Midnight and these are the Sky Nomads."
He looked at her with a weird look. The orc straightened his face. "I'm Hocus."

CHAPTER 9
EXPLAINING


"I was sent to this area," Cynder explained. "Like you, Warnado."
"How did you get in the basement?" Rose asked.
"Without me noticing?" Angie added.
"It was simple," Cynder stated. "I sensed a portal in this area. I turned into a shadow and crept in here. When I didn't see one, I changed back to get aa better look. Then I heard you. Ihunkered in the closet for bout two days only coming out at night."
"Wow!" Cody exclaimed.
Cynder shrugged. "It's not that amazing. I snuck into your house."
Angie was looking pale. She was gripping her arm with a deep look on her face. "Kids, there something I should tell you."
Rose looked up at her. "What is it? Do you know where Whirlwind is?!"
"No," Angie said. "But I do know something. we are supposed to find them."
"How do you know that?" Cody questioned.
"Because," She said. "I've been talking to Hugo. He has told me about the situation in Skylands."
"You mean Malefor?" Rose exclaimed. "'Cause we know about him!"
Cynder was looking around. Her eyes were showing deep thought. "Is there a portal here?"
Angie looked at her feet. "Yes," She admitted. "Hugo entrusted me with it."
"Well good," Warnado stated. "There may be people in contact with Malefor here on Earth. We don't want them getting the portal."
Cody looked at Angie. "Will you take us to find them, Mom?"
"Please!" Rose pleaded.
"Sure," She sighed. Where to first?"
"Where's closest?" Cynder asked.
"Las Vegas," Cody said. "We gonna find us a Bambazooker."

CHAPTER 10
BRING THE BOOM!!


The plane ride was terrible. The whole way, they had to listen to Warnado tell the history of aviation in Skylands.
"The modern style zeppelin was only invented three years ago!" Warnado exclaimed.
"Cool!" Rose cheered.
Cody was starting to wish they would have just flown public so Warnado would be down with the luggage.
Cynder was sitting in her seat, gazing out her window with that deep look. Cody walked up to her.
"What are you thinking about?"
Her eyes snapped open. "Wha-What?" She asked as she woke up.
Cody facepalmed. Their mom, who was piloting, came overing the intercom. "Cody! What did I tell you about staying seated?!"
Cody blow a quick raspberry then sat back down nex to Rose. He opened up his window and looked out. Nothing but clouds. He looked up towards the front of the plane.
"Whoa!" He exclaimed. "What is that?!"
Up toward the front, sitting on the wing was griffin. A familiar griffin.
Rose leaned over him. "I want to see! I want to see!"
She gasped. "Sonic Boom!"
Cody got up and moved towards the cabin. He held on to the walls as he walked up the aisle. "Mom!"
Angie flipped the auto pilot switch and walked towards him. "What is it?"
"Sonic Boom!" He stated. "She's on the wing!"
Cynder walked up. "Open up the door," The dragoness demanded.
Reluctantly, Angie walked towards the door and twisted the hatch. Suddenly, big bursts of air came flowing in.
Cynder looked out the door then flew to the wing. Sonic Boom looked up in surprise. All Cynder had to do was nod and she understood. They flew back together.
Angie shut the door with Cody's help. "No go sit down!" She commanded.
Cody walked back with Sonic Boom and Cynder. They all sat back down. The next half hour of the flight was silent. Not even Warnado spoke.
Then, Angie's voice broke the silence. "Welcome to Las Vegas!"

VEGAS! near where i live (boulder city to las vegas = a long trip.... OF LIGHTS)

CHAPTER 11
TEAM SKY


Flynn's balloon was nearing the Drow Jungle. "I still don't know why Cali, fine woman that girl, doesn't like me. I mean, come on! Look at this body!"
Hugo groaned. Ferne wasn't paying attention to him, only to the white dragon with a robot rat on their tail.
"Umm," she said. "Don't look now but, we're being followed!"
Zelda nodded at Luna then both dragon's jumped out. They flew towards their stalkers, angry looks on their faces. Two tiny rockets shot at Zelda. A ball of light shot at Luna. The attacks did not do much. They continued towards them. When they reachedd the dragon and rat duo, they began a conversation.
Ferne couldn't hear much of it but she could hear some. She heard the rat say, "Mushuck," and "Looking for..." The dragon had said something like "I game with Splitz.." He's crazy, she thought.
Luna began to lead their followers to the balloon.
"I'm Blitze," The dragon said.
"And I'm Mushuck!" said the robotic rat.
Both of them sat down and got comfortable in the floor. Ferne noticed Zelda occasionally glancing at Blitze with a strange look in her eyes. UUeglk! She thought.
Flaffy seemed to be thinking the same thing, as her face showed disgust too.
"Please remained seated as we begin our descent into the drow jungle," Flynn said. "And thank you for flying with Air Flynn, even though you had no other options. Enjoy the jungle and, on behalf of the crew, Thank You and we hope to see you again."
Hugo facepalmed.

Hocus fought side by side with Midnight and the Sky Nomads. Most of the Drow were defeated. Furor, a magic dragon, was finishing the rest off along with Serico, Gropp, and Leokon.
"Hey," Taros called. "Look!"
Up in the sky was a balloon. It was landing awfully close to them. It landed right on top of Flora.
"Quick!" Blascrox shouted. "Get the ruby red slippers!"
Flora lifted it off herself after everyone inside exited. Fyra looked and saw Ferne.
"Ferne!" She shouted. The dragoness darted to her friend.
"Ahem!" Hugo cleared his throat. "I understand all of you have been looking for the skylanders. If you have, Follow me."

After a long flight, They all made it to Core Island. Hugo stood in front of the crowd.
"We all don't believe in Malefor," He stated. "If you wish, you can stay here and fight Malefor. If not, you may leave."
Everyone cheered. Midnight stepped forward.
"Must we stay forever?" She asked.
"No," Hugo answered.
Midnight knodded and joined the cheering.
"Alrighty then," Hugo said. "Welcome to your new home, Team Sky!"
