The point is to answer the question being asked. It's not that he's missing this accidental. I'm sure he's missing this on purpose, just to avoid addressing his absence and lack of mods.

Yeah, it's good to have a life (obviously). But when he's out there having a life, the site is open to some crazy ****. He needs to hire mods for when he's not around. His inability to address this or at least give a reason why is lack of communication between him and the members of his own site.

You say that like it's the end of the world. You also say that as if every waking moment that he's not online people troll the site on a mass scale.

Crazy stuff can happen while he's gone is the point.

It can happen, yes. But it hardly does and it's not like he's gone for weeks with it still on the site, it's usually removed within an hour or so of being on the site.

Did we expect a porn troll last year? Of course not. But it happened. We don't know what can happen in the future, and we need to be prepared for it. If he gave me a logical reason for why he doesn't want mods, a reason I can't argue with, then I can and will easily drop this.

EDIT: By the way, that porn troll wasn't removed within an hour. It took at least 3 hours for Dark to log on and remove him. Could've been avoided.

You can't exactly say that. What if non of the mods are online, then we're in the exact same situation that we would be with 1 mod. After owning a website that get's a lot of spam on a day-to-day basis, I usually get to spam within a few minutes of it being uploaded. Why? Because I check every few minutes. It doesn't take long and if someone's reported it, it only takes to be on the site for a few sections to fix it. He most likely goes on the Admin-CP and you don't notice because he won't appear online if he's just on the Admin-CP.

There's the thing. I've been to several forums in my day, and all of them would have at least 4 mods. I asked the same question, and I got a nice answer: Each of the mods are in different time zones, or are online at a different time of the day. This would then keep the site on watch for most if not all of the day.

They mean dark52, the only admin on the forums here.

Dark52 perhaps, has the function to appear as not connected, but in truth if connected.
I say, well he is the administrator, and has control of all this website, be it as a way to monitor your site without being interrupted, or because you have also your social life.
