If you dare. ''|O-O|'' *claws up, big glaring eyes*

Kasey was walking down the sidewalk, heading home from her friend's Pre-Halloween party, which had ended just a few minutes ago, right before midnight. The full moon was out, and the sky was clear. It was surprisingly warm, especially because it was the middle of the night, in October. The night had just ticked into the 31st, and Kasey's blood was running high.
Or, well, her bloodlust anyway.
She let her glossy jetblack hair out of it's bun, and it fell down to her lower back, touching the edge of her tight jeans. Not skinny jeans - she hated those things - but jeans that were tight on the thigh, and flared a bit at the bottom, over her black boots. She stretched her bare arms, hidden muscle rippling, skin almost glowing in the moonlight, and her red lips parted slightly in a Vampirish grin, twin fangs gleaming in the moonlight under glowing blood red eyes.
"Hm... Halloween and a full moon to boot. What a night." She muttered to herself, running her tongue over her tingling fangs, trying to ignore her thirst for just a moment. It wasn't working.
The light breeze changed suddenly, and the scent of blood washed over her, from a back alley. She'd gone hungry, and it had been TORTURE at the party... Her fangs itched...
Lunch could not wait.
She headed into the alley, running her nails over the brick wall. Her nails sharpened into claws, gouging the brick with a grinding noise. There was a scrambling sound, and then the sound of a trash can.
"Ow...Damnit... Get away! Monster! HEEELLP!" A young, ragged looking boy was scrabbling through the alley, having fallen over a trash can. He had a look of shear terror on his face as he tried to get up and run without taking his eyes off of Kasey. "HEEE-!!" She'd shot forwards, slamming him into the ground, kneeling on his chest.
Her eyes glowed... "Shhh... Enough of that..." Her fangs gleamed, extending to their full length of an inch...
The boy screamed bloody murder.
And then he never screamed again.
Five minutes later, Kasey came out of the alley again, licking her lips clean, checking her black outfit for stains, and smearing a little bit of red on the sidewalk.
She'd accidentally stepped in the puddle of his blood.
I know it's not THE scariest thing you've ever read, but, well... I like strange twists on things. I'll probably do another, again probably centered around Vampires, mainly because they're easiest to write stories about.
