Theres alot of fans for this game and alot of haters so, do you hate or love this game?

There's no such thing as 'love or hate'. Somebody is gonna have mixed feelings, and that's with everything.

Personally, I lean more towards 'hate'. There's nothing really special about this game. A few nice features, but just no.

Neither. I like it. But since that's closer to "Love it", I guess I have no choice but to go with that.

I'm quite fond of it.

So yeah, this game is fun...and stuff...Spyro and Cynder are connected by a bondage chain...that makes me chuckle...

Like it. I wish i had a ps3 or xbox 360 or wii version. I'd like to hear spyro and cynder make a sound when they fight(wii) and i'd love to have the wonderfull water and flower and other great graphics (xbox 360 and ps3). Ps2 was fun though

It is not terrible, that is the closest that I will come to a decision.

Love it, but I think they could of improved it more...and after a while it gets a bit boring. :/

If you're starting to feel powerful on a Spyro message board, then something is wrong.

I love it!!

I partly love it and partly hate it because of the annoying combat and the sad ending. However, the storyline and bosses were pretty cool, so was the backgrounds of the levels, and Malefor was just awesome.

Yes I also play this on my PS2! But it be cool to play it on a PS3! This game is awesome especially when its 2 player!

Also, Malefor wasn't as powerful as the dragons said he was. If he would have been more hard to beat, then that would have made the game epic. Just adding three rounds against him doesn't make him any stronger, just weaker.

Yeah I know! I beat him easily! All of the LOS bosses were easy to beat to me

Hmm I played the game(PS2 Version) just this year after finding the previous two LOS games boring.
Firstly I agree with you on Malefor he was too easy and his weaknesses were too easy to exploit.
Start with the pros: Enchanted forest was nice. O.K storyline but nothing I would put on my favorite lists
Negatives: Largely everything but this is just my opinion some of the missions just didn't impress and the whole game felt the same unimpressive but on the other hand I think I enjoyed it more than TEN but a little less then ANB.

I'm a little tied between which one was better, TEN or DotD. Possitive responses for DotD are: The scenery was amazing, especially the Valley of Avalar. Characters looked nice and had a personality. The ending scene just before fighting Malefor was dramatic. The ending scene was sad and romantic. The ending after the credits had a good, mysterious feel to it. I loved the idea of the Chronicler passing his honor to Ignitus and dying (?). But for some reason, I liked the old Chronicler better.
Negatives for DotD are: The bosses were way to easy, but the enemies werent? O.O There wasn't enough drama (Drama was only in the Malefor scene, Ignitus's death scene, and the ending scene). If Cynder really loves Spyro, then she should have shown it more. Cynder's personality was annoying. Sparx was strange. O.O Spyro just randomly turns into dark spyro out of no where. The game had some glitches, like Sparx's face messing up in the Valley of Avalar.

TEN was good, but DotD, in my opinion, improved upon it in (almost) every aspect; animation, variety, gameplay, ambitiousness... Sure, lots of hiccups in the story department, but this doesn't spoil the experience too much for me. The difficuilty is just right for a Spyro game, here- not an 8 hour, easy ANB, yet not a grey, looong TEN. I like being able to choose levels, and the collectables were pretty nice, like TEN's. Personalities were practically non existant, and they weren't fun to watch at all. No character development, too, but the cutscenes were so beautiful (unlike the cheap-looking animation in ANB and TEN) that it didn't matter too much. Reminds me slightly of the film adaption of Legend of the Guardians, in that the plot was pretty basic and re-used but the visuals were so amazing that you didn't care. I give credit to LotG for having far more personality and interesting characters then DotD, though.

My major complaint is that DotD contains too much SRS BUISNESS- so much so that even our comedy relief Sparx couldn't balance it out. Overall, however, I still love it.

I actually find Sparx kind of funny in TEN, doesn't make me laugh out loud, but he makes me smile, one point he makes me laugh. In ANB I find his remarks to be annoying most of the time and in DOTD I think he is dull, pretty much like all the other characters really.

ANB > TEN > DOTD

Love it, it is much better than TEN which I hated.

I love DOTD, and it's the only post-PS1 Spyro game to which I can say so.

It gets boring but I'll say I love it.

I like it, but i absolutely hate the camera.

Ah, the camera is a pain.

The camera is WONDERFUL.

I honbestly don't have any problems with the camera. There was just one spot in the Burned Lands where the camera was stupid. Other than that, it was fine. I have the Xbox 360 version, so maybe that has something to do with it.

so do i, but when you get to a indoor/inclosed area it suddenly stops letting you turn ti a full 360 degrees, which gets annoying.

I don't find it annoying. They do that because there are some areas where you don't need to see much. If they gave you full 360 control in those parts, you would be seeing some of the empty game space.

I suppose that means they never had time to fill in the space, or simply couldn't be arsed.

Nope. Every game map has to end somewhere. There will always be "out of bounds areas.
