I enjoy it. I hate the trees in the level though, but aside from that, it's one of my faves.

It's an awesome level, I love the fact that some of the enemies blend into each other, and freeing the satyrs is cool too, it kind of reminds me of StD. And I like all of the challenges, even though they can be hard, but they are still fun, and I like the skill point where you have to super-charge round three times.

It was very creative and the pigs were adorable in my aspect. But, I hate those bagpipes, I don't know why, I just think they are annoying. Also, they by far have the hardest orb challanges in the whole game.

Fracture Hills is okay... the rock monsters just kind of threw me off. The landscape was neat and the creatures fitted in quite well.

Yes, I agree with Kitty:
Fracture Hills is okay. The rock monsters are super random though, and the challengese are unnesecarrily (sp?) hard. But the landscape is cool and the other villains (trees and bushes!) are pretty neat. I also like how you have to free the centaurs. It feels like old Spyro again! smilie

I love this level! I just hate those bushes. They always surprise me, every single time! I really do not know what interests me about it, I guess it is because it is one of the only (or THE only) level at night.

I was not aware of that skill point. If I remember next time I play I will try this. Fracture Hills is one of my personal favorites because it is at night, but I do not like the bagpipes and the alchemist.

It's pretty difficult for such an early level. All of it's challenges and it's skill point are pretty tough. Magma Cone is way worse though.
SpyroFlame Green Sparx Gems: 354
#30 Posted: 01:34:03 18/09/2011
Yeah it was pretty difficult to get all the orbs. Magma Come and Fracture Hills were probably the hardest levels in the game.

For sure. Magma Cone had those popcorn challenges, and the horrible lava thing. Fracture hills had "Three loops of the supercharge track" as a skill point, the Alchemist escort, the headbash thing, and the loop around the track door smash.

I liked the part where Sheila calls Spyro "dragon-boy" but he's not the only dragon hero who's been called that. Jake Long from American Dragon: Jake Long has been called "dragon-boy" a few times by Rose/Huntsgirl, I'm not even sure if that's a reference from this game or not. Plus, in the American Dragon: Jake Long episode, "Dragon Summit", the third test where Jake and Fred Nerk had to fly through magical rings reminds me a lot of the speedways from the first three Spyro games.

If you are both a dragon and a boy, prepare to be called dragon-boy.

It's a good thing Spyro and Jake never reacted or commented on that nickname. smilie I suppose it makes sense 'cause Spyro is a child and he's male, which makes him a boy even though being a dragon is his species.

Does anyone remember the round wooden thing with the target on top that looks like it can be headbashed? Tward the middle of the level, there are two I think (I haven't played in about a year). I always got so pissed at them, I always thought there was some secret to them too.
