I love Fear too, although if you use it and position Spyro behind Cynder and start using his Ice breath in co-op, then let's just say things get....

I feel like Cynder's elements are kind of the same as Spyro's, they're interesting to watch.

I like them. I guess I'm the only one who especially used Wind. I loved her Wind element! I love using her tornado attack. Same goes for Spyro. I loved his Ice Tornado attack!

I am Cynder ALL THE TIME while my sister perfers Spyro. I use fear and shadow most of the time. I love the tornado but it drains all my magic so I can't do anything else. Poison just sucks, it barely does any damage it seems but that's just me.

^ Please, don't use the word "magic". It's BREATH. Or it should be breath. Breath is a better name of this "thing" for dragons

I use poison the most, as when I'm surrounded I can easily finish enemies off with a quick spit of it. Boom, they all slow down and take damage while I fight other enemies. Plus, great for getting combos!! Poison is so underated... Oh, and wind sucks. Haha!

Eye like fear.

I love her Wind element, it's the only one I ever use. My mum hasn't got the hang of wind, shadow or fear and insists on using poison, which is probably one of the reasons why I'm not getting very far through the game when playing with her.

I don't use the others often, but I haven't ever managed to use poison well. I'm not bad with shadow and fear, but I definately think wind is the best of the four. I prefer it to most of Spyro's Dawn of the Dragon attacks (except Comet Dash).

I like Fear most. Wind is my least favourite - It looks snazzy and all, but I find it to be very weak.

Although like others have said, I did feel that they were similar to Spyro's.

There are similarities, but they didn't make me think of the "Clone Characters" fiasco in Smash Bros, so it's fine...

I think their moves are 85% unique!

But you also have to remember their melee attacks are different.

I hated Posion. It was overpowered.
Loved Wind. It helped with my fury and combos but it also used up lots of mana to even nit out.
Liked Shadow. It was alright, but I didn't like its normal attack.
Loved Fear. So useful. And it looked awesome.

I liked all of her elements. My least favourite is Poison, but I still liked it. My favourite is either Shadow or Wind.

I liked all of Cynder's elements. Poison was ok, Fear was cool, wind was meh, and Shadow was my fav. I loved the Shadow Strike.

mehh. My least favorite of Cynder's was poison as well. Funny how that seems to be her main element in DotD. I preferred wind. I love hearing/seeing how many hits it gave you!

My favourite was fear and poison, because they dealt most damage. My least favourite was wind. With cheats i did 999 combo, but all enemies were still alive. Shadow was ok.

I still think the elements are very different for the most part.

I like them. My favorite was Shadow. I barely ever use Poison, and you were able to spam the hell out of tornado. It seemed to deal more damage than Spyro's....

But the elements between Spyro and Cynder did have their simularities. Two tornadoes? Two fire breaths?

But the moves are different still. Examples...

Spyro's tornado has long range ice shards shoot from it after you upgrade it, while Cynder gets short range rock debris.
Spyro's fire breath burns enemies and is only reallt effective on enemies with "burnable" material, while Cynder's Shadow Breath can brainwash enemies and has little claws shoot from it, as well as doing a consistent amount of damage to all enemies.

Poison and Fire are the ones you should compare. Not Fire and Shadow.
Fire = Poison
Electricity = Fear
Ice = Wind
Earth and Shadow? Well, I don't see that instantly, but if you think about it, the first ones are very similar because they make the user invincible and the secondary ones both attack mid-range.

The only real differences are the secondary attacks.

I love Spyro's ice and Cynder's wind.. Makes me feel destructive >:D

I love the vibrations in the controllers and the sound of all the hits adding up.. That's what makes me feel so destructive! C:

I know! If you play as Spyro and use the unlimited breath cheat, you can keep him locked in his Electricity Sphere and zoom in.. It's so cute! :3

He's like a little baby!

A glitch once happened to me when I was on "Attack of the Golem". For some reason, when I used the Electricity Sphere, the orb stayed around him after I stopped. It even appeared in the cutscenes where you can see the armour!

That's wierd! Especially since it continued into the cutscene!
For some reason it reminds me of a glitch when battling Malefor:

It was the first part of the fight where you battle him in flight, and he blew that purple fire at me, and he eventually stopped breathing it and moved onto his next attack, but the fire kept coming randomly from his body! He stood up straighter and it was just coming out of his stomach!


...Glitches are fun!

It's possible to make Malefor do nothing on the second fight!

Why did that make me laugh!? lol

And really? The only way I can think of to do that is to just stay as far away as possible

I have to say cynders elements are better than spyros elements.

I liked her elements, it was her attacks that ticked me off. I don't know if anyone else noticed, but did you find it hard to knock up enemies in the air with Cynder? Not by using shadow or anything, but just using her attacks. With Spyro, I found it 10x easier.

Fear breath ftw.

I also like using her secondary Wind attack, when she makes a cyclone kinda like Spyro's secondary Ice attack.

I don't find knocking enemies up into the air hard with Cynder, but it's slightly easier with Spyro, due to his longer horns and bigger head.
