Which voice of Sparx do you like the best? [CLOSED]

Ive played The 3 legend games and sparx is different in all of them. And the classic probably has a different voice too. So... which one is the best? smilie

I liked Sparx's voice in A New Beginning the best. Sparx's voice in The Eternal Night kind of drove me nuts for a little while until I got used to it. smilie As for Dawn of the Dragon, Sparx's voice wasn't bad it just sounded a little too mature for Sparx, in my opinion. I lived most of my childhood listening to Sparx making buzzing noises, so the fact that he speaks at all in the Legend trilogy is good enough for me. smilie Also, I played A New Beginning a lot more than the other two Legend games so I'm probably more used to it.

^ Agreed, David Spade is perfect for Sparx if he had to have voice. IMO Sparx is best when he's buzzing.

I like David Spade the most, sparx sounded better with that voice. Billy West's voice wasn't much different so I didn't really mind that. Wayne Brady was the one that irritated me the most. He sounded to mature and it was so low I couldn't understand why they changed it to his voice.

^ I can't understand why they changed his voice twice. Spade was really good, I see no point in changing him to West. And then, why did the new studio change the voice again? To show us that DotD isn't from Krome even more?

I don't know, but it was really stupid to me. He should have kept David all the way to DotD. But Cynder's voice changed in all three too (ANB to TEN was understandable). I think the only ones who kept their voices were Spyro and the Guardians.

Trouble is, they were too focused on hiring celebrity names for the voices, rather than supplying us with a consistent, qualified voice actor.

I liked Sparx in TEN best.

Yeah, that's the bad part about some people. Sometimes someone who lives out in the country even would suit the character's voice better than a celebrity in some cases.

TEN Sparx was pretty good, not much of a change.

Thats exactly what I think... Why did they make his voice so low in DotD? What is he supposed to be? Barry White?

If they were desperate, they would even hire miley cyrus to vice him, making her voice lower. All of those teen pokemon-girls would play the new Spyro with miley cyrus dubbing Sparx.

In the Tlos games my favorite voice for Sparx was billy west from The Eternal Night. I don't know in my opinion it worked best for Sparx.

^ this is exactly how i felt and my position. i was so mad when they changed Sparx's voice from David Spade's. he was just so perfect! then (after being disappointed from his voice change for most of TEN) i got used to West as i was jumping across the floating jellyfish for the first time. when i finally played DotD, i was shocked at another new voice, but got used to it.

*sigh*
i still wish that David Spade was the voice of Sparx

sb182, you mean Sparx voiced by Gary Oldman? Nooo, please, no! This actor should be knighted! He's so perfect for Ignitus, with noble, wise and deep voice. Imagine Sparx with this voice (even changed)...

David Spade did Sparx best in ANB. Buzzing got annoying after a while, Billy West tried, but he just didn't seem to fit, and that guy in DotD was so unatural to the point that it sucked.

I didn't mind it at the time, but I haven't played that game in a long while, I played DotD recently, he doesn't bother me in that game, but I don't really find him funny, I think the only time I found him funny was when he was saying "Go and get the key, blah blah, yeah that makes sense"

David Spade suited the part perfectly, but was it just me who thought that he sounded... Almost as if he didn't want to do it? Sometimes he just sounded a bit effortless. I think West put the most effort into the voiceacting, personally.
