Hi guys i'm kinda new here but ever sence i read queen cynder's fan fic I wanted to write my own but please dont you know rip my face off about it cause this is my first one ok.

prologue

One day Spyro and Cynder were sitting next to a tree when they here a male dragon screaming for help they took a look and saw a black dragon being captured by the apes by the time they saw they had put a silver bracelet around his arm with a black crystal in the middle of the top after that they decided to save the young dragon but when they were done attacking the apes Spyro and Cynder came up to him the young dragon scared stiff by the thought that he was going to die but they didnt wish to kill him they wanted to help him the one thing they asked first is who are you and the young dragon responded by saying "My-my name is shadow" the boy said. chapter 1:sadness

After they found out his name they decided to find his parents
"Shadow where are your parents?" asked Spyro
"I dont have any." said shadow sadly
"Well what do we do with him?" whispered Cynder
"I dont know,should we leave him" whispered Spyro
"You two do know I can hear every word your saying." said Shadow
As he said that Sparx flew in and saw young Shadow and yelled "Kill it kill it it's evil" he said to the dark grey dragon. "Come with us to our home." said Spyro
"Ok said Shadow. and with that they flew off.

chapter 2: the taint

When they got back it was dark.
When everyone was asleep the young dragon wasnt he saw Spyro sitting outside the cave keeping guard.

"Spyro." shadow said
"What do you want." Spyro asked the boy
"Well dont take this the wrong way but..." said Shadow
"But what!" said Spyro
"I didnt mean to up set you but you have a dark taint and I can rid you of it with this crystal on my arm." explained Shadow
"Hey whats going on?" said Sparx sleepily
"Nothing nothing at all" Shadow said quickly
"Cynder this freak you brought in is trying to hide something from us and Spyro knows what that is!" accused Sparx
"Is that true?" cynder asked
"Yes" Shadow said sorrowfully
"Cynder dont hold this against him he said he knew about my dark taint and he thinks he can cure it."
"Thats great!" Cynder exclaimed
"Hmmm I dont trust him to do it without trying to kill us after he's done." said Sparx
"Dont mind him,now lets get some sleep." said syro
"Hey"! said sparx
"Sparx I know about you not trusting us black dragons due to the fact that Cynder tried to kill you when she was evil."Shadow explained
Sparx just hovered with his jaw dropped thinking "how did he know that?"
"Well good night." said Shadow

Chapter 3: something goes horribly wrong


P.S before this Shadow had dark grey scales.


"Ok lets do it!" enthusiasticly said Spyro
"OK but we need to go to my power source you know cause i may end up in a coma if I cleanse you with out it." said Shadow
"Cynder Sparx let's go." said Spyro. they followed him to the avalar forest
"Ok here is the dark crystal where i can catch my breath when we are done." said shadow
"I told you he's evil"whispered sparx
"I heard that!" snapped shadow
"Can we just get this over with." said Spyro
"I'll be glad to." said shadow
With that he put his paw on spyro's head,as Shadow became enshrouded in a dark aura. "I have stay focused" Shadow said when the dark aura left Spyro and into the crystal. Sparx yelled "Finally you back to normal" and with that Shadow lost his consentration and the crystal broke spilling the dark aura on him. The boy was changed his dark grey scales into pitch black and they only thing that remained the same were his eyes(which are grey),his personality,memory,and figure but he was still the same dragon he was before just his colour changed and had new breath powers shadow (which he had before),and darkness(from the contamination).

"Ugh what happened?" he said with everyone shocked but then he releized that he was not dark grey anymore but now his scales were pitch black and he could use another element. "Uhh am I the only one who's freaked out" said Sparx "Spyro Cynder can we go home?" asked Shadow
"Ye-yea said."said Spyro
and they went home to dicuss it...

chapter 4:regret

"Why didnt he turn large like you Cynder?" asked Spyro while shadow was sleeping
"I dont know I mean that was more than I had it could be from the fact that he was so used to it by the fact he seemed to feed off that dark crystal." said Cynder
"Uh stay away stay away" Shadow said having a nightmare
"So your the new guy I remember Spyro heh so easy to control." said a voice
"Wait I know what you are,your're the taint!"said Shadow fearfully
"Ha ha ha ha you figured it out." it said sadistiscly
just then another voice was heard saying "Wake up wake up dont be dead."
When he awoke he saw Spyro over him.
"Ah where am I." Shadow said
"It's morning and you were screaming all night."said Spyro
"Listen I'm sorry i've caused so much trouble but now your free of the taint at least."
"Yeah but at the cost of it tourturing you." said Spyro
"Sparx if you wouldnt have yelled he wouldnt be suffering" snapped cynder
"Well sorry." said sparx
"Stop fighting!" yelled shadow
"I'll leave for a while to give you guys some air" said shadow
and with that he flew off.

As day turned to night they began to worry about shadow even sparx was worried about him.
"Why do i always start the fight that ends up breaking everything!" he said in tears while laying next to his dark crystal
"Do not cry little one." an odd voice said
"Who are you!" he said with fear
"I am zonoya little one"
he thought to him self "i've heard that name but who was she."
As she reveled her self she came and sat down by the young dragon and said " hmm a black dragon but you seem diffrent darker then the rest."
"It's the dark taint I rid Spyro of but it spilled on me" He said
"Ah do you want it gone I can take it from you."
"No i cant it's alive and i'm learning how to get along with it now but i need to go."
and with that said he flew home as fast as he could.
"Spyro,Cynder,Sparx!" he yelled as he saw they were awake
"Hey your back" said sparx
"I'm sorry but I really need to tell you guys this."he said with a worried face
"What is it?" they all said in unison
"THis dragoness named Zonoya wanted to take the dark taint from me for something but I'm begining to like the taint we get along just fine." said Shadow
"Zonoya!" Cynder yelled
" What is it Cynder?"Spyro asked
" She is Malefor's offspring!" she said worried
"That explaines why she wanted the taint." said shadow
