I think that Sierra is just really, well, sexist (because I can't think of a better word). I mean, Cynder's the only female and they make her first evil in the beginning then they give her big hips and really skinny and all in DotD.

It's not that bad. ANB Cynder's appearence was much more suggestive, and I haven't even played ANB.....all you have to do is see her GBA sprite.
Besides.....I don't mind suggestive anyway.

She may be suggestive, but honestly, I have seen MUCH more suggestive characters. And as a guy, I can't say I don't approve of Cynder looking the way she does......
But she is only suggestive in appearence, her personality isn't suggestive at all.

Videogame and cartoon females tend to have nice bodies, unless they're a monster(like Ineptune, from AHT) or are old. The reason Cynder was made so curvy was probably to help distinguish her from the male dragons.(It's not like they can give the males "gigooties" and the females "gishmoigities"!) Put it this way.....would you rather DotD Cynder was fat and full of warts and maggots while you play as her?

You're right about that. If there's a female character in a videogame, they've almost always got good bodies. And there are so many subliminal messages and stuff of the sort in kids programs, movies, and games, that only the adults pick up.

Back on topic: Yes, lots of kids shows these days have slightly suggestive females. *points at avi* And I can see that the animators DO need a way to distringuish (sp?) males from females. But the LEAST they could have done was add more females in the game!
