Well, many people were extremely disapointed with how Malefor went, his voice and all. I was most dissapointed with how he died/ was defeated. What do you have to say in the matter?

Yes, there is fact that he isn't dead, but I was expecting much more than him being sucked into crystal.

Good point, however if that is the core of the planet,we don't know how big it is. Plus, for the people who do not like tLoS, it's not good news as it adds to the fact there may be another LoS game...

Right parisruelz12.if this world is still in pieces so above what place are Spyro and Cynder floating at the end of DotD (it doesnt look teared apart IMO) ?

I dont have any complaints about the ending,and yes it might mean there will be another TLoS game,which I would be happy with.

I'm not surprised. Knowing Activision, they would reboot the series AGAIN just so they can have the storyline go their way.

Anyway, I was disappointed too. Malefor was clearly ready for another fight, probably an epic one too. He looked like he was about to fight with all his power, which would of been great. But no, those freaking spirits had to ruin all the fun. ;__;

I would be happy only if next Spyro game would come out on PS2. And have more interesting ending. And plot. And chartacters.

I hate how the PS2 is being outmoded,it is better then the PS3 IMO.

I just never did like Malefor much. He was hard to understand what he was saying because of his voice always echoing. Plus, he wasn't so purple.

And he wasn't so powerful. In "la grande finale" he should turn into Dark Malefor, and kill Cynder. Spyro in anger would change into Even Darker Spyro and kill Malefor. And then there will be happy end. Spyro repairing the Earth and everybody is glad.

ps3 is not compatable with the ps2 games yet. i say yet cause there wuz an advertisement on the radio then later wuz brought on tv that they are making some kind of device that you can attach to a ps3 so it will play ps2 games. i also heard that most video game stores are going to drop there ps2 items(systems, games, etc...)i mean even walmart (at least the walmart in my area)droped there ps2 items already. they dont have any games or systems or.....anything for ps2. its all ps3 and psp now.

In my Empik multimedia shops there are still some games for PS2, but only new ones, like FIFA 2010, or really cool ones, like Killzone, GoW 1 and 2... There are no Crash Bandicoot or Spyro games. The PS2 age is about to end...

In my GameStop store, there used to be a huge shelf full of PS2 games, new and used. But now they moved them to a waaaaaaay smaller shelf and they are all used games.
Meanwhile the huge shelf they used to be on were replaced by, (surprise surprise) PS3 games.

Actually PS3 can be made compatible for PS2 games if you just download a computer program online.

Actually the fat PS3 is still compatible with PS2 games. My cousin's PS3 is the fat one and it is up-to-date and it still let us play Ratchet and Clank

I also support the PS2 games. Although the graphics arent as good, i like it much better then PS3.

I agree. PS2 was great. Although, I still think PS was the best. The games that were made around that era were fantastic. I mean, Spyro, Pokemon, Digimon, Croc, Guardian's Crusade, etc.

I have the PS but I lost the wires so I play Crash and Spyro (GTG) on my PS2

I haz PSone PSP PS3 and used to have PS2. $ONY FTW! The ending 2 DotD wasn't that good.....,.!:...;
The game itself is epic 1st time round, or if you havent played for a year and two months...

I was MAD at how he died. Thsi was my reaction from what I remember,

"WHAT? He didn't die??!! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE! I DO NOT APPROVE!"

^ Yep, he's not dead, only taken into Core, so I'm sure that he will be back.

I wish Malefor didn't go period. I don't care if the planet was breaking apart I just wish he would have still been around. When I saw that happened I shook the tv and yelled "NO! YOU CAN'T DO THAT TO HIM!"

I just thought they would have realized by then that they couldn't just lock Malefor up anymore. Obviously he was smart enough to get out the first time and he's bound to get out again.

It's a valid point on how he was defeated, and I should really name this Topic "Malefors Defeat Debate", because this may annoy fans of tLoS series, and their point is very important.
Who here liked how Malefor was defeated by the way, as I want to hear another side of the Argument.

Pie1 I was just saying I didn't like him being defeated. I only won the game once. Now when I get to his lair I start a new file.

I don't want to kill Malefor ever.

Not just the ending was terrible, but Malefor himself. I expected MORE from the final boss of the series, which should be the most epic thing in all three games. I must admit, I found him hard the first play through. But now... he's just easy. And the way you fight him isn't good ether, the first round being the worst. Because the flying controls were horrible, I found myself getting hit every second. When Malefor attacks, I try to move, but the character ether doesn't move or moves very slowly.

I expected more from Dark Cynder then just a cut scene. I was hoping that she would turn back to her dark, adult self, like in ANB. The return of adult/dark Cynder would have been sweet. It would be nice to fight her too, but that would be impossible, because of the co-op thing, so one pore dude will have to miss out on all the fun.....

But what do we get? Just Cynder, but with a darker shade, a few shadow effects, and white eyes, a rip off of Dark Spyro. Heck a three year old could have come up with something better, and a better design.
