Spyro over the years has changed dramatically from the first STD this was the beginning of all Spyro games!!
I think that spyro in this game was sweet and he has such a cute voice! I really liked the scenery and the story lines/plots which were so happy and spyro had all those friends who were either cute or wise or stupid! It's music was just as good as the other first three as it was by Stewart Copeland and therefore fantastic! I think there should have been a bit more of that era before they moved onto the more modern versions!

Yeah! spyro is for geniuses, which i is one of am! this game made spyro instantly popular for the next four years, it was genius. his voice was annoying, but he was sooo adowable...and the music was awesome, specially the dream weavers IMO. i still play this game over again b/c it has some replay value, and toasting sheep was so fun

well, i like this game, but,i don't want to correct you Toastie,but, it was the first ever Spyro game n he is 7 years old on the game,but, the new game is based befor it,so, realy, in the game Cynder is befor Gnasty Grorc!!!

That game was really great! I loved it! (until a coup of water spilled on my PSX) ;~;

I've played through the first game 10 times, at least. I own all the originals for PS, but none of them seem to have the charm that this one does.

Yeah, I realised his character changed a little every level:

Spyro 1- Cute with total attitude!
Spyro 2- Much more calm, has a tiny bit of attitude, but generally has matured and is actually very polite.
Spyro 3- Same as above, but a little sarcastic and grumpy at times. Less polite than before.
Enter the Dragonfly- Same as above, but much less grumpy and sarcastic.
A Hero's Tail- Completely changes into an arrogant, rude, wise-cracking dragon who thinks he's funny. Urgh. At least he gets his attitude back, heh.

And I haven't played ANB yet, and I am not including the hand-held games here.

In ANB, I would say that spyro is more mature than the other games

lol, yeah he is more mature because he didnt realize how handsome and powerful he was, so in the later games he got a big head. lol

1. There is a 88% chance he isn't 7 because he was 12 in YOTD
2.We don't know

Dude, you dont have any evidence to back this up. Also ETD is set just after YOTD, how do you know that each game is seperated by 1 year. ALSO In year of the dragon he could be 12, 24, 36, 48 or any number in the twelve times table. Because how do you know that was his first year of the dragon. I highly doubt he is that old in AHT and SL. Sorry but yeah. Those are your therioes.

Spyro is obviousley not an adult so he's 12 in YOTD. ETD,SOI, and SOF take place in the year of the dragon also.AOTR probably did too. And ANB is a reboot so....
