It has already been confirmed there is a new game on its way, but i highly doubt it will be set in the Original universe. Like Aura said, it will probablly be in TLoS universe, but a completely different story. Mabye they can get Krome back and fix the Characters, Sparx wasn't funny anymore, Cynder was a Mary-sue, Spyro was ugly and the Guardians looks like mutants. My opinion, although i liked DotD.

Well TLoS would be a seperate storyline from the continuation version of the Spyro games, so....



However, we dont kow this for sure. But i doubt they will continue with the Originals.

If thats so i'm curious to see how the characters meet again. Like how willspyro meet cynder? and how will the gaurdians be introduced. Just a thought to think about.

They'll probably have Spyro and Cynder to be just friends, and they already know the Guardians and Hunter, but not other characters.

Hmm interesting, that would be cool, i remember seeing a video of chris wilson, explanining what was either ANB or TEN, and saying they intended on doing a trilogy and ending it at a clifhanger, i'll try to post that video and see what he meant, so he already knew how dotd ended. but yeah i agree with aura probably, just end up as friends.

And also Spyro and Cynder didn't die at the end of DotD. If you understood the ending completely, you notice that their names aren't in the Book of Death that was looked over by the Chronicler, that means they're alive and were flying over the Valley of Avalar.

Yeah, but Rebecca Kneubuhl won't be composing the next game's music because another department of Activision and the new producers of the Spyro franchise, with Mike Graham still in it, already chose the composer.

And what's wrong with doing a complete, different story in the next game, pony? It will probably be set in the LoS universe, but it has nothing to do with the trilogy, which was made to re-create Spyro's world and the characters.

No one knows. All we know is that Rebecca Kneubuhl won't be composing the music. Activision is keeping the game under a low profile. The old Spyro has been gone since Shadow Legacy, and the franchise has gone through a reboot to re-create the series.

Activision would be foolish to make a spyro game, with the old spyro in it, as good as the originals, especially when the series has gone through a reboot. The old spyro is gone, and most of us don't want him to go through such torment again after Insomniac stopped making the games.

The previous Chronicler gave Ignitus the honor of becoming the Chronicler, and he accepted it that's how. Ignitus died, but his spirit was brought to the White Isle because he was chosen to be the next Chronicler.

We don't know. I think that they should:

A: Drop LOS and pick up again with old Spyro

B: Another reboot. Yes fans would be mad, but Activision doesn't care so long as tthey make money. They'll appeal to a new crowd if needs be, Sierra did it befor. Unfortunately....

C: Stick with LOS (regretably) but incorperate aspect of old Spyro such as mini games, side quests, upbeat tunes, and above all, SPUNK FOR SPYRO!

Actually, Ignitus is the new Chronicler so, he's not all gone. Spyro, I don't think is dead, because at the very end it shows him and Cynder flying around. If there was a new game I couldn't imagine what it would be about.

i have been looking into it, they have been saying that they will be making a movie... OK no problem. but they have been rather... sneaky about any more games. thus is why i started the forum "Is this the end." if they stop spyro, well i don't know what I'll play all day Saturday.

WE don't know what the game will be called. But the Spyro Team at Activision knows the title, but won't share the information until the time is right for them to do so.

They didn't announce DOTD's official name until 3-4 months after they announced DOTD in the first place...
