If you count from the year they were born, 15... If you don't include the time they were frozen... 12...

No, they were 12 in TEN, since they came from the same batch of eggs. And since 3 years have passed when Spyro and Cynder were frozen in time at the end of TEN, they're 15 years old in DotD.

Well, in ANB, Cynder ruled the islands for 12 years while under Malefor's influence, and Spyro was 12 years old at the time when he defeated Cynder in Convexity. When Spyro defeated Cynder, she returned to her normal size for the age of 12 she was supposed to be had she not been corrupted, since she and Spyro came from the same brood of eggs. They were still 12 in TEN, and after 3 years trapped in crystal, they're 15 in DotD.

Around 17 by the next game I'd say. XP

No, it means they are ATLEAST 15 then. Also technically they should be 16 seeming as TEN took 1 year.

It doesn't matter how long the game production was, when looking into the actual storyline they are 15 =3

I assumed TEN took place a few months after ANB ( I swear I read that somewhere...).

Nor did it say it was less than a year did it? No, you're just assuming it was a few months

Because it was. Why would Cynder still feel guilty over what happened in ANB? If it was a year, then she would've gotten over that guilt. Forget it, it's your opinion anyways. It won't make a difference, because TEN was set sometime after ANB, like a few months.

Spyro used up his power to use Dragon Time to encased him, Cynder, and Sparx in crystal to protect them when the mountain was crumbling around them.

They didn't say how long it was between ANB and TEN, BEST. They just say TEN takes place after ANB, with Cynder returned to normal. They could mean it was sometime after ANB.

No he didn't. Spyro didn't use Dragon Time in DotD, because he doesn't have that power anymore. All he did was give Spyro and Cynder their elemental powers; no mention of Dragon Time.

why did they lose their powers

Well, i actually think cynder lost her powers when she was transformed back and only gained them when the Chronicler gave them to her. Spyro on the other hand lost his powers through creating the crystal

but they learn all their powers the moment the cutscene triggers... it doesnt make sense...

also, they only lost their mana.

I say 15 for both

12 in ANB/TEN. I'm guessing that TEN is at the most only a few weeks after ANB. Then Hunter tells us that Spyro and Cynder have come out of the crystal three years later, so fifteen.
