This is going to be a story about Malefor's childhood mainly, from birth to the night when Spyro was born. It will tell you about his parents, and when Ignitus, Volteer, Cyril and Terrador when they were young too, and how they became to be the four dragon Guardians. It will be about how Malefor become so evil and dark, and about the huge mistake his parents made. So, I hope you enjoy it!




Prologue

A cool breeze swept across the Temple. Salmu looked out across the night sky, his tail twitched. He could feel the presence of his mate beside him. He turned around, and sure enough, saw Mellina sitting next to him. He frowned. “Mellina, you know very well that you should be resting. The egg could come at any minute now.” Salmu told his mate. Mellina grinned. “Mouse-brain, I want to watch the stars with you.” Mellina purred. Salmu smiled, and nuzzled her. Mellina was expecting an egg very soon, so she had to rest while she could. Although once Mellina had made up her mind, there was no way in changing it. Salmu was an earth dragon, and Mellina was a electricity dragon. Electricity and earth didn’t go together at all. Salmu’s father wasn’t happy when he chose Mellina as a mate, but Salmu didn’t listen to his father’s words. He loved her more than anything, and she loved him back. Sokka, Salmu’s father, an earth dragon, stalked up next to him. Salmu turned over to his father. “Sokka, why are you here?” Salmu growled, angry because his father had interrupted a special moment between him and Mellina. Salmu heard Mellina give a faint hiss, but she didn’t say anything. Sokka narrowed his eyes. “Son, I am doing this because I am worried about the dragon race. You know very well that earth and electricity don’t go together at all. Think about your child, him or her could destroy the dragon race for good. It’s not going to work out.” Sokka growled. Salmu snarled.
“You think you know what’s best for me, don’t you? Well, you don’t. Mellina and I are very happy together, and maybe our child will become a new species of dragon, and triumph above the rest. At least mother understands. Why don’t you just get on with your own life?” Mellina nodded. “And give us some privacy,” She added. Sokka looked taken aback. “Fine, do what you want, see if I care. You obviously want to destroy the dragon race, and I’m fine with it. At least I won’t get the blame.” And with that, Sokka stalked back where he had entered, lashing his tail. But Salmu had a pain in his stomach that his father was right. “Mellina…what will our child become?” Salmu asked. Mellina shrugged. “I dunno. But think on the bright side, we’re going to make a new type of dragon species! Isn’t it exciting?” Mellina said, grinning. But Salmu was still troubled. “I just hope your right.” Salmu muttered, twining his tail with hers. Salmu covered his left wing over Mellina’s shoulder. Mellina purred, and snuggled close to his chest. “Come, you must get some rest,” Salmu whispered gently to her. Mellina opened one eye, and sighed. “Yeah, I guess your right. We want what’s best for our child.” Mellina staggered up, with Salmu supporting her, and gently lead her back to the nest. Mellina flopped down onto the soft, warm mossy nest, and tucked her nose under her wing and fell asleep. Salmu smiled, and slept next to her.

Salmu’s sleep was interrupted by a loud yowl. He sprang to his paws, to find Mellina lying on the nest, panting heavily. “Mellina! What’s wrong?” Salmu cried, panic surging through him like a wave. “What do you think?” Mellina hissed through gritted teeth. Then it hit him. Mellina was about to bear their child! Mellina let out another screech, and blood poured out all over the nest. Salmu sat beside his mate. “It’s going to be alright, just take deep breaths.” Salmu calmly said, although he had no experience on dragon birth. Mellina let out another yowl, as a yellow sac came out from behind her. Salmu quickly picked at the sac with his teeth, until a dark purple egg showed. Salmu’s scales jumped out of his skin. A purple egg? Salmu was ringing with questions. Mellina coughed. “What colour is it?” She asked. “Purple,” Salmu replied, still shocked. Mellina looked dazed for a second, but then she laughed. “Salmu! Don’t be silly! You know that there are no purple dragons-” But she soon stopped, and looked at her egg, her mouth gaping open. Suddenly Sokka, Salmu’s father, and Salmu’s mother, Anki, came charging in. “We heard a yowl-” Sokka shouted, then he stopped to stare at his sons egg. “What’s going on? We-” Anki stopped to, dazed. “That’s…that’s a purple egg.” Sokka breathed. Salmu nodded. “Yes, and your grandchild.” Anki’s shocked face turned into a huge smile. “Oh, well done! I’m so proud for you, congratulations!” Anki beamed, and muzzled her son. Salmu blushed, embarrassed of his mother’s actions. “But that’s impossible…there has never been a purple dragon before,” Sokka said, still shocked. “Yes! Isn’t it wonderful?” Mellina beamed. “Salmu and I have made a new dragon species!” Sokka growled. “We’ll see…if this dragon turns out to be so you call ‘special’, then I may reconsider.” Anki frowned at her mate. “Sokka! Aren’t you pleased with our son? We’re going to be grandparents now! Isn’t that wonderful?” Anki said. Sokka hissed. “No, that’s only proving that we’re old! How am I going to be a Guardian when I’m a grandfather?” Anki pressed her muzzle onto Sokka’s. “Come now, let’s leave Salmu and Mellina in peace.” Anki whispered to her mate. “But-” Anki silenced him with her wing, then the two padded out of the room. Once they were gone, Mellina growled.
“Why does your father have to be all angry and serious all the time?” Salmu sighed. “Mellina, I truly don’t know. I guess that’s just how he is.” he replied, furious with his father’s harsh words. Salmu didn’t care what his father said, their child would be a dragon like no other - and create a new dragon species. But there was a dark wave churning inside Salmu, half thinking that his father was right.

Chapter 1

Malefor chased after his mother’s tail, determined to catch it. Malefor leapt into the air, and pinned his mother’s tail down. “Ha!” Malefor yelped, proudly. Mellina laughed. “Wow, the great hunter once again catches his prey.” Mellina chuckled. Malefor frowned at his mother’s words. “Why can’t I go play with the others?” Malefor whined. Mellina sighed. “Malefor, you know that your to small to go play with them. You could get badly hurt.” Malefor yowled. “I am the great hunter! He never gets scared or hurt by anybody, or anything!” Mellina chuckled. “We’ll see about that,” She hissed playfully, and rubbed her muzzle into his stomach. Malefor giggled. “Stop! Stop! The great hunter doesn’t like to be tickled!”
Mellina stopped, and laughed. “The great hunter’s only weakness is to be tickled by his mother,” Mellina mocked.
“Hey! Malefor! Come play with us!” Ignitus, a young fire dragon called. He was playing with Terrador, an earth dragon, Volteer, an electricity dragon, and Cyril, the snobby ice dragon. “Oooh, Mum, can I? Please?” Malefor begged. His mother sighed, and twitched her tail. “All right, I guess it can’t hurt. Just be careful!” Mellina called after him as her son sped off.

Wow please write more. You've really captured a cute character inside Malefor, I can't wait to see what he'll be like later. And I can't wait to see how snobby and show-offy Cyril will be. Please write more.

Chapter 1 (continued)

Cyril grunted. “The Dark Master has returned,” Cyril mocked. Malefor growled. “I told you guys to stop calling me that!” “Yes, Cyril, we promised Malefor we wouldn’t call him that anymore.” Ignitus said. Cyril rolled his eyes, but he didn’t say anything. Volteer grinned. “Hey! We don’t we play tag? I could be it! And we could run around so fast, that-” Terrador silenced him with his spiky tail. “But we played that yesterday, Volteer, and everybody knows that you always win.” Terrador replied. Volteer smiled, showing his bright white fangs.
“I know! Why Don’t we play who is the strongest dragon?” Malefor suggested; he had always wanted to play that game, but Mellina would never let him.
“That’s a great idea, Malefor! Who wants to play Malefor’s game?” Ignitus said. “I do! That’s sounds awesome,” Terrador replied. “I guess it sounds. . .reasonable,” Volteer said in his lightning voice. Cyril looked away, and didn’t say anything. “You guys can play, just leave me out.” Cyril growled, and stalked over to his sister, Crystal, who was playing with Terrador’s sister, Fern. “Cyril, wait!” Ignitus called, but Cyril had already stalked off to go play with his sister. “What’s his problem?” Terrador asked. Malefor just shrugged. “Anyway, how do you play ‘The Strongest Dragon’?” Ignitus asked him. “Well…we all wrestle each other to find out who is the strongest, and whoever wins…can…” Malefor was struggling for words. “Yeah, what? What?” Volteer asked; he was very impatient.
“Um…-” “Hi guys!” Cried a voice. Malefor whipped his head around to see who had interrupted him. It was Amber, a young female fire dragon, and Blaze’s daughter. Blaze was the fire dragon Guardian. “Can I play too?” Amber asked, her tail twitching excitedly. Terrador exchanged a glance with Ignitus, Ignitus just shrugged. “Why don’t you play with Crystal and Fern?” Terrador suggested. Amber narrowed her eyes. “No way! I can’t believe that their playing with Cyril, honestly. Who would want to play with him? Please?” Amber begged. Ignitus sighed. “All right, but we’re going to be wrestling, and we won’t go easy on you.” Ignitus warned. Amber rolled her eyes. “Please, I’m a champion at wrestling.” But Malefor could see the fear in the young fire dragon’s eyes, she was clearly afraid. “Anyway…Malefor, you were saying?” Terrador said, glaring at Amber.
“Um…the winner gets to win, I guess.” Malefor said quietly. Amber snorted. “Boring! Why don’t they get a prize? That would be more exciting!” Malefor sighed. “Okay, the winner gets a prize. Who wants to wrestle first?” Malefor said. Terrador stepped forward. “I wish to wrestle Amber,” Terrador said, and glared at her. Amber stepped forward. “I accept your challenge.” Amber replied.
“Guys, before you start, there is no scratching each other. You must have your claws in. And no biting, either.” Malefor explained quickly. Amber sighed. “OK,”
Terrador leapt onto Amber before she had a chance to attack him first. He pinned her down quite easily, but Amber wasn’t going to give up a fight so easily. She kicked her hind legs at Terrador’s belly, but it was no use. Terrador wasn’t exactly the most lightest dragon on earth. “Give up, Amber. You know you can’t beat me.” Terrador smirked. Amber growled. “I’m not giving up so easily!” Amber yowled, and batted her hind legs harder against Terrador’s belly. Terrador finally gave in, and leapt off her. Amber lunged towards Terrador, and slapped him with her paws.

Terrador flinched, and leapt back. Amber lunged towards him, but Terrador body slammed into her. Amber jumped back, and skidded on the dusty ground. She staggered to her paws, but then flopped back down. “Terrador wins!” Malefor yowled. Terrador smirked. “Told ya,” Amber growled, but didn’t say anything. “I wish to battle Volteer,” Ignitus challenged. Volteer jumped up and down excitedly. “OK! Sounds fun!” he yelped. Poor Volteer...he doesn't stand a chance. he thought.
Ignitus lunged towards Volteer, and batted him with his hind paws. Volteer leapt back, and slammed into Ignitus. Ignitus skidded back, he winced in pain, but lunged towards Volteer and body slammed him. Volteer flew back, and tried to get back onto his paws, but failed. “Ignitus wins!” Malefor declared. Cyril trotted over. “You guys didn’t say you were wrestling,” Cyril growled. “Ice dragons are one of the most strongest dragon species, and the most skilled and talented. Ice is a very hard element to master…” Malefor didn’t pay any attention to Cyril’s boosting. “So you want to play?” Malefor said, interrupting Cyril. “All right…you and me, Malefor.” Cyril challenged. Malefor snarled. “Bring it on,” Cyril lunged towards Malefor, knocking him over. Malefor staggered to his paws, but Cyril batted him back down with his tail. Cyril pinned Malefor down. “Give up, purple boy. You know that you can never win.” Cyril hissed. Malefor roared with rage and flung Cyril off his back, before Cyril had time to recover, he lunged towards the young ice dragon again. By this time, Cyril’s and Terrador’s sisters had come to watch the fight. Malefor swiped his claws across his face, droplets of blood splattering everywhere. The other hatchlings gasped. “You…you had your claws out!” Cyril growled. “Malefor! You were only doing this for fun, we don’t want to seriously hurt each other.” Ignitus said.
Crystal rushed over to her brother. “Oh, Cyril! Are you OK? Anything seriously scratched?” Crystal said, and licked her brothers wound. Cyril glared at him.
“You could of badly hurt him!” Fern hissed. “Everyone, stop!” Ignitus yowled. “Malefor…you didn’t mean to, right?” Malefor swallowed hard. “Um…no, of course not.” Malefor mumbled. “Liar!” Cyril hissed. “He’s lying!” “Why don’t we just let it go? Malefor wouldn’t do that on purpose, it was just an accident.” Volteer blabbered away. “Volteer’s right…I’m sure he wouldn’t do that on purpose.” Terrador added. Cyril growled, then stormed off. Crystal followed him, and poked her tongue out at him. “So…who’s the winner?” Amber asked. Malefor hadn’t thought about who would be the winner…he glanced at Ignitus, then at Terrador. “Um…everybody did very well, it was hard to decide…Terrador, you did the best out of everybody.” Malefor declared. Amber yowled. “But that’s not fair! He’s bigger, stronger and fattier than us!” Terrador interrupted her. “Where’s my prize?” He asked. Malefor saw a beautiful blue flower swaying in the breeze. He picked the flower and handed it to Terrador. “Here’s your prize,” Malefor said. Terrador sniffed the flower, then ate the hole thing in one gulp. “Wait! You weren’t supposed to eat - never mind.” Malefor sighed. Terrador belched loudly. Malefor sighed. So much for the prize...

“Malefor!” Malefor heard his mother cry. “Malefor! Where are you?” Mellina yelled. He sighed. “Sorry guys, but my mother wants me.” He explained. Ignitus nodded, understandingly. “Okay, catch you later then.” Ignitus called as Malefor trotted off. “I’ll win next time!” Malefor heard Amber yowl.
“Malefor!” Malefor saw his mother charging towards him. He closed his eyes. Argh…why does she have to be so protective of me? “Malefor! There you are.” Mellina purred as she soothingly licked Malefor’s forehead. “Your father has been looking for you everywhere - he wishes to see you.” Mellina explained. He jumped. Father wants to see me? But why?…he wondered. “Why?” Malefor echoed his thoughts. “Salmu - and the rest of the dragon Guardians - they want to see what type of element you can master.” His mother explained. “After all, you are a new species of dragon. We want to see what powers you process.” Malefor bubbled up with excitement. Wow! This is awesome! I’m finally going to see what type of element I can control!

Chapter 2

Mellina lead Malefor into the Temple’s Dojo, where all young dragon’s trained and mastered their powers. He had never been in here before - since everybody believed he had no powers. “Wow…” Malefor murmured. This is so exciting! I can’t wait! “Now, Malefor,” Mellina told her son. “You must listen to what the Guardians say, and do as your told. Okay? Oh, look, there’s your father now.” Mellina said. Malefor turned away from his mother, and saw his father stalking towards him and his mother. “Dad!” Malefor yelped, excitedly. “Are you ready my son?” Salmu asked Malefor gently. “The great hunter is ready for anything!” Malefor yowled. Salmu chuckled. Mellina beamed with pride, and padded out of the Dojo. The four dragon Guardians: Blaze, master of fire, Thunder, master of electricity, Asura, master of ice, and Sokka, Salmu’s father and Malefor’s grandfather, master of earth padded up to Salmu and Malefor, and sat in front of them. “Those are the Guardians?” Malefor squeaked. Salmu nodded. “Welcome, young dragon,” Blaze calmly said. “Today, you shall see which element you can master.” Malefor was bursting with excitement. “We do not know what type of element your species can master,” Blaze continued. “So we shall try the four elements first. You will try fire first, then electricity, ice, and then earth.” Blaze flicked her tail to the other dragon Guardians, they nodded, and padded out of the Dojo. “Salmu, can I ask you kindly to go with the other Guardians?” Blaze asked politely. Salmu nodded, and padded out of the Dojo with the others. I wonder why they have to leave? he wondered.

Suddenly, the giant dragon statue that was in the middle of the Dojo turned around in circles, and disappeared under the ground. “How did that happen?” Malefor yelped with surprise. Blaze chuckled. “Some things are best untold,” She told him. Tiles formed across where the dragon statue had disappeared, making it safe to walk on. “Now…first of all, we shall see what type of breath you have.” Blaze said. A small Dojo dummy appeared in the middle of the Dojo. “Now,” Blaze said sternly, “I want you to try and burn that dummy for me: take a deep breath…and feel the fire that burns through the sky…and breathe with it.” Malefor took a deep breath, and all he thought about was flames and destruction. Flames and destruction…flames and destruction…fire that burns through the sky…fire that burns through the sky…he echoed these thoughts over and over again. He took one last deep breath, and blew…nothing. Not a single flame. Not even a puff of smoke. Blaze frowned. “Well…I guess you can’t master fire, no matter, you can try again tomorrow - it doesn’t always work the first time.” Blaze said, trying not to disappoint Malefor. He frowned. Toad-weed droppings to that! I don’t want to try tomorrow, I want to give it another shot now! Malefor yowled inside. But he remembered his mothers words: “Now Malefor…you must listen to what the Guardians say, and do as your told…” he sighed. “Okay,” he growled. “Come, now.” Blaze said as she lead him into the Grotto. The dragon statue moved back into place as they left the Dojo. Salmu bounded over to his son. “So, Malefor? Any luck?” Salmu asked him. Malefor shook his head, his tail and wings dropped. “No…I can’t breathe fire.” Malefor mumbled. Mellina padded over and licked him. “Don’t worry, my dear. After all, we don’t expect you to breathe fire - your father and I aren’t fire dragons, after all anyway. Things will look better tomorrow.” Mellina cooed her son. I wish I could believe her. Malefor sighed.

Malefor couldn’t sleep that night. He tossed and turned, thinking of flames and ashes - he was determined to just spark a flame. I know I can breathe fire! I felt the flames churning inside me. Malefor quietly snuck out of the Temple, careful not to wake his parents and any of the other dragons. Malefor soon made his way into the Swamp, where a huge population of dragonflies lived. Although, none of the dragonflies noticed him. Malefor took a deep breath, and all he thought about was flames, fire and ashes. Flames and destruction…flames and destruction…fire that burns through the sky…fire that burns through the sky…Malefor took one last deep breath, and blew his lungs out. Scorching flames gushed out of his mouth, burning the swampy ground. Malefor beamed with pride. I can breathe fire! I really can! but Malefor’s smile soon faded when he realized that the fire had quickly spread, and it was heading for the Temple! He panicked, not so sure what to do. I must get everybody out of the Temple! Malefor charged back where he had came, dodging the roaring flames, and burst into the Temple. “Everybody, get out! There’s a fire heading this way! Quickly!” Malefor yowled. All the other dragons staggered to their paws, and started to chatter to themselves. Salmu bounded over to his son. “Malefor! What is the meaning of this?” Salmu growled. Sokka sat by Salmu. “Please control your son, Salmu,” Sokka growled. “We’re all just trying to get some sleep.” Malefor narrowed his eyes. “But I’m telling the truth! There is a fire heading this way!”
“How do you know that?” Sokka snarled. Mellina stood next to her son. “Malefor would never lie! He’s telling the truth!” Mellina hissed. Sokka growled, and looked away. Suddenly, Anki, Salmu’s mother, rushed over to them. “Malefor’s right! There really is a fire!” Anki cried. Sokka rolled his eyes. “Really, Anki there’s no -” but Sokka stopped, as a large draft of smoke blew inside the Temple. “Okay, everybody out!” Sokka yowled. Malefor looked away. This is all my fault…the Temple’s burning away because of me. What have I done?

Five hours had passed, and every single dragon had got out of the Temple, unharmed. A quarter of the Temple had burned away, but the ice dragons soon had sorted it out. Cyril glared at Malefor. “You may seem innocent, but I bet you had something to do with the fire.” Cyril hissed in Malefor’s ear. Malefor glared at him, and growled. “Don’t growl at me, I know you had something to do with it,” Cyril sneered. His stomach twisted. Cyril’s onto me…but he’s got no proof, anyway. The others wouldn’t even think I can spark a flame. he told himself. But Malefor was still frightened, dreading in what would happen if anybody found out. Crystal padded over to her brother. “Come, Cyril. Who wants to hang out with this purple freak, anyway.” Crystal snorted. Cyril nodded, and stalked off with his sister. Malefor felt like burning Cyril’s and Crystal’s faces off, but thought better not to. I don’t want them to find out I can breathe fire, or else Cyril will know that I set the Temple to flames. Malefor told himself. “Malefor, sweetheart, are you all right?” Malefor turned around to who had said his name, to see his mother. Mellina hugged him. “Will the Temple be alright?” Malefor squeaked. Mellina smiled. “Yes, the ice dragons have cooled down the fire, and the Temple. It just needs to be rebuilt, on one side, where the fire has scorched it most. But apart from that, it’ll be fine.” Mellina reassured him. Still, Malefor felt guilty, and terrible for burning some of the Temple. He almost started to cry, but bit back the tears.

Chapter 3

The next day, every single dragon was at work to rebuild the Temple. Malefor felt terrible. It’s all my fault! he moaned to himself if anybody found out, I’ll be dead. He gulped, and looked at his paws. “Hey, Malefor!” Malefor whipped around, his tail twitching - he soon relaxed. It was only Fern, Terrador’s sister.
“Hey, Fern,” Malefor replied. “What’s up?” Fern shrugged. “I dunno…just seeing what your doing - what are you doing, anyway?” Fern asked, she was suddenly curious. “Umm…nothing, I guess.” He answered. “Do you want to play with us?” Fern suggested, she was trying to be friendly. “Who is ‘us’?” Malefor asked. Please not Cyril - “Well…there’s me, Crystal, Terrador, Ignitus, Cyril-” Frog-weed fungus! Not Cyril! “-Volteer, Amber, Zaria, Silver, and Fireheart.” Fern finished. Malefor sighed. “Okay. What are you playing?” Fern shrugged. “We were playing tag, but Zaria and Silver got bored of it. Ignitus sighed. “Cyril, Crystal, please. Just be nice, okay? Just because Malefor is a different colour, doesn’t mean that he’s completely different.” Ignitus said. Cyril snorted, and rolled his eyes. Crystal laughed even more. Silver hissed. “If you want to play with us, you have to be nice!” Silver growled. Zaria nodded. “Yeah, treat others how you want to be treated.” Zaria added. I wish they would, he thought sadly. “Anyway…what should we play?” Amber asked. “We could…hmm…how about, who can jump the highest?” Fireheart suggested. Crystal moaned. “We played that yesterday,” she complained. “What about hide-and-seek?” Silver suggested. Ignitus nodded. “Who wants to play hide-and-seek?” Ignitus called. Everybody said yes, apart from Cyril and Crystal. Volteer yowled with joy; he jumped up and down excitedly. “Yes, yes, yes! I love hide-and-seek!” Volteer cried. Terrador sighed. “Volteer, how many sugar stalks have you eaten today?” Terrador asked. Volteer thought for a moment. “Fifty! Fifty sugar stalks!” He answered. Malefor stared at Volteer in shock. No wonder he’s so hyper all the time, despite that he’s a electricity dragon. Even Mother and Zaria aren’t that hyper, and they’re electricity dragons! although, it wasn’t Volteer’s fault. He was always hyper, even if he doesn’t eat any sugar stalks. “So…who’s it?” Zaria broke the silence. “Ooooh! Me! Me! I’m it!” Volteer yelled. Ignitus sighed. “Volteer, your always it when we play hide-and-seek, or tag…Fireheart, do you want to be it?” Fireheart nodded. “Yes, please!” Fireheart smiled. Volteer’s wings and tail drooped. But then he smiled. “You’ll never find me!” Volteer yelled as he sped off. Malefor rolled his eyes. When will he ever learn? Amber rolled her eyes. “Okay, Fireheart, count to twenty, with your eyes closed.” Amber ordered Fireheart. “No, it should be thirty!” Silver cried from behind her. “No, forty!” Zaria yelled. “Okay, okay, it’s forty then.” Ignitus declared. Fireheart closed his eyes, and started to count. Ignitus and Terrador sped off, with Amber and Zaria hard on their heels. Cyril and Crystal stomped off, they clearly weren’t playing anymore. Silver dived into the bushes. Malefor quickly sped off, they way where Ignitus, Terrador, Amber and Zaria had gone.

Malefor saw a giant oak tree looming before him. Fireheart will never find me here! he thought as he scrambled up the tree. “Malefor! I didn’t expect to see you here,” whispered a voice from behind him. Malefor whipped his head around too see Fern, Terrador’s sister. “Don’t worry, I’ll be quiet.” Malefor whispered back. Fern nodded from her branch. “Ready or not, here I come!” Fireheart yowled from his spot. Fireheart tasted the air, sniffing the ground, trying to pick up another dragon’s scent. Fireheart dove into some bushes, and a startled shriek came from the bush where Fireheart had dived into. “Ha! Found you, Silver!” Fireheart announced. Fireheart emerged from the bush, closely followed by Silver. Fireheart sniffed the ground again, and went the way where Ignitus, Terrador, Amber and Zaria had gone. Silver quickly trotted behind him. “Found you, Amber, Zaria!” Fireheart yowled. Amber moaned. “Awww! Your no fun.” Zaria complained. “We know where Ignitus and Terrador are,” Amber boosted. “Where?” Silver asked. Amber and Zaria snorted. “We’re not telling you!” Amber snapped. Fireheart flicked his tail. “We don’t need help from you,” Fireheart snapped back, and tasted the air again.
