this is kind of like my other story A Dragon's life in Heaven exept it's about Dragsooth's egg being stolen from Heaven and hatching in hell...

first chapter coming today... i think.

A bit of a "what if" story then, can't wait

Chapter 1,

It was late at night in Heaven, in the Temple Jesus was sitting on his throne. there was a purple egg sitting on a cushion on top of a pedestal right beside his throne.

an angel came running to him.

angel: "Master a large group of demons are attacking the city! we can't fend them off much longer! they're heading toward the Temple!"

Jesus: "don't worry. i'll handle it. you look after that egg." he disappeared.

afew seconds later 3 demons broke through the Temple roof, one of them stabs the angel in the back and kills him, the demons go toward the pedestal, one of them takes the egg.

demon: "we got the egg, let's go back to the master."

they flew out of the Temple through the hole in the roof.
all the demons go back to hell.

Jesus comes back to the Temple, he sees that the egg is gone, he looks down and sees the dead angel, he brings him back to life.

Jesus: "what happen?"

the angel slowly gets up "demons ambushed me, they attacked me from behind. they took the egg Master. i'm sorry..."

Jesus sits on his throne,

angel: "i'm sorry for our loss Master... should i assemble a group of angels to go into hell and take the egg back?"

Jesus: "no, i don't want to loose anymore of my children to the demons..."

angel: "very well Master..." he walked away...


In hell,

a demon walks into lucifer's lair, the demon was holding the egg, he walked into lucifer's room and up to lucifer.

demon: "master your plan worked. we got the egg..." the demon handed lucifer the egg.

lucifer: "good... now get out."

demon: "but aren't you going to reward anyone for getting you the egg?"

lucifer: "GET OUT!"

the demon ran out of the room and closed the door behind him

lucifer looked at the egg "this is one creature that tyrant won't be able to enslave..."

the egg began to hatch, it hatched and a little purple dragon hatchling was laying in lucifer's hands, it looked at him. lucifer smirked at it. the hatchling smiles at him.

there was a knock on the door.

lucifer: "who is it!?"

the door opened and there stood a dragon-like female demon wearing a scraggly white robe.

lucifer: "Malinda. what do you want?"

Malinda: "i heard the egg from Heaven arrived. has it hatched?"

lucifer: "yes." he walked up to her "take care of this little dragon. i don't have time to take care of hatchlings." he gave the hatchling to her.

Malinda takes the little hatchling and cradles it in her arms "i'll take good care of him master." she looks at the hatchling and smiles at it "what should i name him?"

lucifer: "call him whatever you want. i don't care." he shuts the door...

Malinda looks at the hatchling "what shall i call you? how about Dragsooth... that's a good dragon name..."

Dragsooth looked at her and smiles,

Malinda: "you look so innocent..." she gently pets him...

Very...different from what u normaly write. But a good story so far!

Chapter 2,

5 years later...
Dragsooth grew into a playful young dragon, Malinda had a very good relationship with him, she was kind of over protective of him but he didn't mind. over the years lucifer had lied to Dragsooth and told him that he was his father and Dragsooth beiieved him. lucifer never allowed Dragsooth to call him dad. lucifer forced Dragsooth to call him master and he listened. Dragsooth was also told to worship him and Dragsooth would obey. Dragsooth also learned the elements of fire, electricity, ice and earth. He hadn't yet perfected his elemental powers and he needed more training. Dragsooth was in the training room with lucifer and Malinda.

Malinda: "master are you sure Dragsooth is ready to train with the adult demons?"

lucifer: "he should be. he needs more tougher opponents to train with. he needs more of a challenge."

Malinda: "but i'm worried that he's going to get hurt."

Dragsooth: "don't worry mom, the master won't let me get hurt. he knows what he's doing..."

lucifer: "he's right. so stop worrying!"

Malinda: "yes master..."

lucifer looks at a demon.

lucifer: "you come here!"

the demon comes over, he was rather large and muscular.

lucifer: "spar with Dragsooth!"

demon: "yes master..."

the demon strikes Dragsooth and he falls to the ground, the demon pins him to the ground with little effort.

demon: "this isn't much of a challenge for me."

Dragsooth tried to get out of the demons grasp but he couldn't. Dragsooth struggled.

demon: "come on you little welpling fight back!" he tightened his grip.

Dragsooth could barley move now.

Malinda suddenly takes out her sword and stabbed the demon in the shoulder, the demon fell to the ground, Malinda puts her sword away and looks toward Dragsooth, she crouches down.

Malinda: "Draggy are you alright?"

Dragsooth gets up "yes i'm fine mom..."

lucifer: "what was all that about!?"

Malinda: "master i'm sorry but i just couldn't see Dragsooth like that..."

lucifer: "it was part of the training! he needs to build up strength! he's weak! and now that i seen it for myself he isn't very resistant to pain either. he needs to build up resistance and you know how we do that."

Malinda: "oh no master you're not talking about... that place?"

lucifer: "you know what i'm talking about! i command you to bring him there in a few minutes!" he leaves the training room.

Chapter 3,

Dragsooth: "mom where dose the master want you to bring me?"

Malinda grew sad and upset at the thought "i've always known that i couldn't protect you from it..."

Dragsooth: "protect me from what?"

Malinda: "the torture chamber..."

Dragsooth: "the torture chamber?"

Malinda: "yes... the master wants to get you in there..."

Dragsooth: "but why? dose he just want me to watch him torture other demons?"

Malinda: "no... Dragsooth he wants to torture you because he thinks that'll help you be more resistant to pain..."

Dragsooth: "...oh... well he's doing it to help me, right?"

Malinda: "i sometimes think he dose it for his own pleasure..."

Dragsooth: "it'll make him happy to see me in pain?"

Malinda slowly nods.

Dragsooth: *in an upset voice* "... well i better not keep him waiting then..." he slowly walks out of the training room.

Malinda follows "where are you going?"

Dragsooth: "to the torture chamber, where the master is waiting for me..."

Dragsooth walks in the chamber, Malinda is right behind him.

lucifer: "it's about time you got here."

Malinda walks up to him "master, Dragsooth is too young for this. can't you wait until he get's older to do this?"

lucifer: "no! you best not interfere with this!"

Malinda: "yes, but he's only 5 years old... can't you postpone it?"

lucifer: "no! Dragsooth come here."

Dragsooth walks over to him, lucifer picks him up and chains him to a table. Malinda looks at Dragsooth with tears in her eyes

Malinda: "master please! i beg of you to not do this! there has to be a better way of doing this! please don't hurt him!"

lucifer: "you better keep quiet if you don't want to torture him yourself!!"

Malinda didn't say anything else. she just looked at Dragsooth helplessly...

Chapter 4,

lucifer picks up a whip and walks over behind Dragsooth. Dragsooth looks at him,

Dragsooth: "you're not going to whip me too badly. are you master?" there was a tone of fear in his voice,

lucifer: "of course i'm going to, it's the only way to make you stronger and resistant to pain!" he raises the whip,

Malinda: "no! don't hurt him!" she gets in between them and shields Dragsooth.

lucifer knocks her to the side "stay out of this!"

Malinda just lays on the floor, she looks at Dragsooth.

lucifer: "now where was i?" he raises the whip and strikes Dragsooth across the back with it.

Dragsooth screamed and cries in pain. lucifer keeps whipping him, Dragsooth cries harder. lucifer stops.

lucifer: "your crying pleases me. now beg for mercy!" he continues to whip him.

Dragsooth: "please stop master!! STOP PLEASE!!!" he cries.

lucifer: "it's not convincing enough!" he whips him harder.

Dragsooth screams in pain "please master have mercy!!!" he cries harder.

lucifer: "resist the pain you little weakling!!" he whips him harder.

Dragsooth closes his eyes and clenches his teeth to try to block out the pain, but he could barley keep himself from screaming in pain. after afew seconds lucifer stops.

Dragsooth sobs heavily , he hears lucifer laughing at his pain.

lucifer: "that's enough for today. you can go!" he unchains Dragsooth.

Malinda gets up "Draggy are you alright?"

Dragsooth: "...no.... it hurts.... everything hurts mommy..." tears come down his cheeks.

Malinda carefully picks him up, she looks at lucifer.

lucifer: "next time you'll torture him!"

Malinda dosen't say anything, she walks away carrying Dragsooth in her arms. Dragsooth is crying.

Malinda: "shhhhh everything's going to be alright..."

the sound of her voice made the pain seem to not hurt as much. he quieted himself down but he couldn't help but sob. Malinda carried him to their room in lucifer's lair. she heals Dragsooth's wounds, he stops crying.

Malinda: "there there it's alright..." she pets him on the head. "i'm so sorry i couldn't help you Draggy."

Dragsooth: "it's ok mommy you tried..."

Malinda: "i know. but i wish i couldv'e succeeded..." she petted Dragsooth. she sat down on the bed which was just a flat rock. she held Dragsooth close to her...

Chapter 5,

Dragsooth and Malinda fell asleep on the bed together. Dragsooth was having an unusual dream,

(dream)

Dragsooth was hearing a voice,

voice: "my child you have been lied to all this time. lucifer is not your father. you do not belong in hell, you belong in Heaven, before you hatched you were taken from Heaven. lucifer is constantly lying to you, he is not your master or your father..."

Dragsooth: "who is my father?"

voice: "i am your father, you never knew me but i know everything about you and i love you very much."

Dragsooth: "who are you?"

voice: "my child i am Jesus..." Jesus appears in front of him.

Dragsooth: "the master told me about you. he said you're a tyrant and a slave owner..."

Jesus: "he lied to you Dragsooth. everything you know about me is a lie... i love you unconditionally, my love for you is whole, it's complete and infinate... lucifer doesn't love you he's only keeping you as a slave..."

Dragsooth: "he is?"

Jesus: "yes... my child you will never fully understand how much i love you, you are so dear to me. i suffered and died for you..."

Dragsooth: "you died for me?"

Jesus: "yes... and i would do it all again just for you... come to me and i will take you away from all this pain and suffering, all i ask is that you trust me..."

Dragsooth was confused about everything he was hearing, but he felt happy when he was around Jesus, Dragsooth felt loved.

Jesus: "i'll offer you more than lucifer ever could... i am able to do more for you then you can ever imagine if you come to me..."

Dragsooth: "where can i find you?"

Jesus: "in Heaven inside the golden Temple... find me there...."
(end dream)

Actually, no matter how you approach it, Jesus chose that himself, so...

Chapter 6,

Dragsooth woke up a few seconds after having the dream, he saw Malinda was still asleep, Dragsooth got off the bed and looked out a window, in the distance he saw the gates of Heaven.

Dragsooth: "the master told me never to go there. but i have this strange feeling that i want to go..."

he stood there for a few seconds and thought about what he should do, he flew out the window and toward the gates of Heaven,

Dragsooth: "the master's going to be angry if he finds out i'm doing this..."

he reached the gates, he landed in front of them and walked toward them, the gates opened, Dragsooth went through the gates, he was in Heaven, he noticed it was much brighter then hell, and the weather in Heaven was much nicer, he noticed that Heaven was more peaceful, he felt an overwhelming sense of peace come over him and he liked the feeling. Dragsooth sees a large Temple in the distance, he walks toward it, as he was walking he looked around at the sparkling grass and the colorful flowers that were abundant.

Dragsooth: "i don't understand why the master didn't want me to come here. this place is cool..."

Dragsooth looked at the sky and he saw that it was clear and blue, there was no darkness anywhere in Heaven and he liked it. he walked on a street of gold heading toward the Temple.

Dragsooth: "wow Heaven has streets of gold hell only has rock, even the buildings are made of gold..."

the Temple was next to a big city, the buildings and streets were made out of solid gold. Dragsooth went in front of the Temple, he stood in front of the big doors, the doors of the Temple slowly opened and there stood Jesus.

Jesus: "welcome to Heaven my child. you have risked much by coming here."

Dragsooth: "i know... why should i believe what you said about the love you have for me?"

Jesus: "because i am your real father. i created you out of love... now i want you to come to me... come to me and i'll give you the desires of your heart... you will be truly happy with me."

Dragsooth: "you're right i do feel happier when i came here and i do want to be happy..."

Dragsooth started to walk toward him but suddenly lucifer came out of nowhere and he got in between them, Dragsooth was now behind him, lucifer blocked his way.
lucifer looked at Jesus and growled at him,

a few angels appeared beside Jesus, their weapons were drawn. lucifer stood his ground,

lucifer: "this child belongs to me! he's mine!!"

Jesus: "you took him away from me when he was just an egg. you've deprived him of happiness."

lucifer: "you're trying to steal him away from me and make him into your slave! i'm not going to let you do that!"

Dragsooth: "master i-..."

lucifer: "be quiet!!" there was a slight roar in his voice.

Dragsooth slumped down scared.

lucifer looks at Jesus

lucifer: "this isn't over!" he turns around and begins to leave.

Dragsooth stays and looks at Jesus for a moment.

lucifer: "Dragsooth COME!"

Dragsooth reluctantly follows but he looks back at Jesus for a moment then Dragsooth follows lucifer back to hell.

Chapter 7,

lucifer and Dragsooth went back to hell. Malinda walked up to them.

Malinda: "what happen? where was Dragsooth?"

lucifer: "he was in Heaven. you were supposed to be watching him!! how could you let him go there!!?"

Dragsooth: "it wasn't her fault. i went there on my own."

lucifer: "what were you doing there!?"

Dragsooth: "... nothing..."

lucifer: "don't lie to me! you were looking to join that tyrant weren't you!?"

Dragsooth: "...no... i would never join him..."

lucifer: "then why were you with him!?"

Dragsooth: "...i... i had a dream where he told me he's my father and he loves me and i thought that may have been true..."

lucifer: "TRUE!?... everything he says is a lie! he tricked you! all he wants to do is make you his slave and make you worship him! how could you be so stupid as to fall for his tricks!?"

Dragsooth: "i... i didn't know... i'm sorry master..."

lucifer: "i will not be so quick to forgive you!"

Malinda: "he said he was sorry and this is his first offense can't you forgive him?"

lucifer: "no! i will punish him for what he did!... or on second thought you'll punish him..."

Malinda: "what do you mean?"

lucifer: "take Dragsooth to the torture chamber now!"

Malinda: "i... i can't... i can't harm a signal scale on him and you want me to torture him?"

lucifer: "do it or i'll whip him for 24 hours strait and i'll make you watch!"

Malinda looks at Dragsooth, he looks back at her.

Malinda: "Dragsooth go to the torture chamber!"

Dragsooth: "huh...?"

Malinda: "you heard me... go now!"

Dragsooth slowly walks toward the torture chamber, Malinda walks closely behind him, she leans closer to him and whispers "i'm so sorry..."

Malinda looks back and sees lucifer was following.

they walk inside the chamber...

Chapter 8,

Dragsooth walks into the torture chamber, Malinda and lucifer are behind him,

lucifer: "restrain him somehow!"

Malinda picks Dragsooth up and chains him to a wall. Dragsooth hangs from the wall by his wrists,

lucifer: "make his punishment as painful as possible!"

Malinda picks up a whip, she walks up to Dragsooth.

Malinda: "i'm so sorry..."

she whips Dragsooth across the back, he screams in pain, she stops.

lucifer: "don't stop! keep whipping him! i want to hear him beg for mercy!"

Malinda: "well i don't..." she drops the whip and begins walk away.

lucifer: "stop! i order you to come back here and discipline him!"

Malinda: "i'm sorry i can't..." she walks out of the torture chamber.

lucifer: "how dare she disobey me?"

Dragsooth: "since she left are you going to let me go now master?"

lucifer: "no! i'll have to torture you myself!" he picks up the whip.

Dragsooth started crying "please don't whip me.... i'm sorry.... i'll never do anything like that again..."

lucifer: "of course you'll never make the same mistake again... after i'm through with you!!"

he begins to whip Dragsooth.

Dragsooth: "i'm sorry i'll never do it again! please stop!!"

lucifer continues whipping him with all his strength, Dragsooth screams and cries in pain, after a few minutes of a continuous whipping lucifer stops, he hears Dragsooth crying and sobbing, lucifer grins at the sound.

lucifer: "Dragsooth are ever going to disobey me again?"

Dragsooth: *sobbing* "...no master..."

lucifer: "good..." he unchains him

Dragsooth falls on the floor, his back is wounded and bleeding,

Dragsooth: "... can i go master?"

lucifer: "yes go. but if you ever go to Heaven again the punishment will be worse! now get out."

Dragsooth slowly gets up and limps out of the torture chamber...

Chapter 9,

Dragsooth limped over to lucifer's lair, Dragsooth went to that room he and Malinda sleep in, he walked inside, he saw Malinda sitting on the bed.

Dragsooth: "mommy are you alright?"

Malinda looked at Dragsooth.

Malinda: "Dragsooth..." she got up and crouched down in front of him "Draggy are you ok?"

Dragsooth: "not really, the master whipped me badly."

Malinda: "Dragsooth i'm sorry for whipping you..."

Dragsooth: "you only whipped me once what you did was nothing compared to what the master did to me..."

Malinda layed her hand on Dragsooth's back healing it.

Dragsooth: "thank you mommy."

Malinda pets him "you're welcome honey..." she stands up "now let's get some sleep..."

they lay down on the bed together and fall asleep...

Dragsooth was having a dream...
*dream*

Dragsooth saw Jesus standing in front of him.

Dragsooth: "oh no... the master told me all about you. i'll never fall for your tricks again. and i'm not going to be your slave!"

Jesus: "my child i'm not trying to trick you... and i don't make anyone my slave... although you are a slave to lucifer."

Dragsooth: "no i don't believe that!"

Jesus: "did he ever once show you any love, compassion... or at the very least called you his son?"

Dragsooth: "well no... but he shows it to me in other ways."

Jesus: "you mean he shows you love by not beating you to death every time he tortures you?"

Dragsooth: "...yes..."

Jesus: "well that's not how one shows love and compassion... here's how i would show you compassion and love..." he walks over to Dragsooth and begins petting him,

Dragsooth pulled back a little bit but then he got closer, he liked to be petted...

Jesus: "there that's better..." he continued to pet him.

Dragsooth closed his eyes...
*end dream*

Chapter 10,

Dragsooth woke up from his dream, he looked over at Malinda who was still asleep

Dragsooth: "mom?"

Malinda wakes up "yes Draggy?"

Dragsooth: "i had a dream and Jesus told me i'm a slave to the master, and i have this feeling that maybe Jesus is right..."

Malinda: "what? no that's not true..."

Dragsooth: "Jesus also said that the master never showed me true love or compassion and i feel that that's true..."

Malinda: "the master dose love you he's just showing you a different kind of love... it's called tough love."

Dragsooth: "i'm going to go talk to the master..." he gets out of bed.

Malinda: "it's the middle of the night... it's a bad idea to wake him..."

Dragsooth: "i must talk to him..." he walks out of the room.

Dragsooth goes up to lucifer's room, he sees the door is closed, Dragsooth hesitates at first but then he knoks on the door with his paw.

lucifer: "whoever it is LEAVE!!"

Dragsooth: "it's me master, i have to talk to you..."

lucifer: "come in."

Dragsooth pushes the door open and walks inside.

lucifer: "what is it you want?"

Dragsooth: "i've been having dreams about Jesus... and he says that you don't show any love or compassion for me..."

lucifer: "he's a liar! don't believe anything he says!"

Dragsooth: "well... at first i didn't... but then he showed me how he shows compassion... and i liked it."

lucifer: "he's trying to trick you again! do not believe him!"

Dragsooth: "i wish it was that easy master... but for a moment i did believe everything he said..."

lucifer: "WHAT!? how dare you believe him!?"

Dragsooth: "i don't know..."

lucifer: "get out of my sight before i loose my temper and torture you!!!"

Dragsooth ran out of the room. lucifer shut the door.

lucifer: "Jesus!... answer me you despicable tyrant!!"

Jesus' voice: "yes what is it?"

lucifer: "stay away from Dragsooth! he's mine!! he worships me not you!!!"

Jesus' voice: "how long do you intend to keep lying to him? he's going to find out the truth sooner or later. you and i both know it..."

lucifer: "i'll keep lying to him as long as it takes! you can't have him!!"

Jesus' voice: "we'll see who he wants to be with sooner or later..."

lucifer: "you know he'll choose me because i'm like god to him!"

Jesus' voice: "no, no you're not... you're more like a slave driver..."

lucifer: "he'll choose me over you! he knows who his master is!"

Jesus' voice: "we'll see lucy... we'll see..."

lucifer: "what is that supposed to mean!!?"

there was no answer...

lucifer: "answer me!!"

there was no response...

lucifer: "are you deaf!? answer me!"

Jesus' voice: "it would be best not to insult me lucy..." there came a sound of thunder

lucifer: "oh what are you going to do if i insult you? you disgusting-..."

a bolt of lightning came down and electrocuted lucifer, he fell to the ground and passed out.

Jesus' voice: "yes, we'll see who Dragsooth wants to be with in due time..."
