It takes place right after Spyro's kids:Zappy, one month later.
Comet is to go on a quest to destroy the darkness.
He soon finds out that there is a secret about the dark dragon he is battling.

Whoo, Comet story!

hey! comet was my fan character! even check in my story. i was gonna be writing a story about him, and infact the 1st chapter is in progress! cant you at least think of a different name for your dragon? cuz comet was my fave fan dragon and i dont want my idea stolen. plz. look both these links are proof he belongs to me. no offence to you or anything, i just hate getting my ideas stolen.

PART 1 The Starlight Dragon

Chapter 1 Comet

Spyro and Cynder sat in their cave, it was a dark and stormy night.
Cynder was about to give birth to a 3rd child, the last 2 hadn't gone very well:
The 1st, a ice dragon, Icy, had been killed by Malefor.
The 2nd, a twilight dragon, Zappy, had to become an orphan or Chaos, the Dark Master who had killed Malefor was trying to kill her.
"I hope this one lasts......." said Cynder.
"It will," replied Spyro, " it will."
Suddenly, Cynder laid a gleaming red egg.
"Just have to wait." said Cynder, falling asleep.

*CRACK*


Spyro and Cynder woke up to see egg remains on the ground.
The baby was gone.
"Spyro, where's the baby?!" shrieked Cynder.
"Now don't worry we'll fi-" Spyro tried to say,but something interupted.
"RahhRahhRAhhRahh!" squeaked a voice.
Spyro and Cynder turned around to see a red hatchling trying to grab a vine dangling from the ceiling, standing on a wooden shelf.
"We'll name him........ Comet." said Cynder, smiling.[url][/url]

o.k then, sorry. but i'm keeping him still. as hes my fave character, and i've used him in all my stories. so sorry about that, but i'l still be making my story about my comet. which the 1st chapter is nearly finished. but i'm still continuing with writing the story, its called the life story of comet. YOU WROTE A NICE STORY THOUGH!

Chapter 2 A close call

Cynder grabbed Comet's neck and lowered him to the ground.
Comet squaked, scared.
Spyro smiled.
Cynder began to lick Comet's forehead when a lightning strike shot from the sky.
Comet screached in an unsatisfied way.
Cynder gave Spyro a worried look.
A slash of swords in the air was all Comet saw before he was blocked off of sight.
Comet's limp body floated in the darkness.
"Yes! The Starlight prince has only been alive for a day and I've already destroyed him!!!!" exclaimed a evil voice, laughing.
Dark red eyes stared at Comet.
Suddenly, a beam of light formed around Comet and shot at the figure.
"You will not win, Convexity!" cried a voice.
"WHAT?!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!" cried Convexity as he disappeared.
Comet was scared stith, then he heard voices.
"Comet! Wake up honey! Please don't be dead!" cried Cynder.
Comet couldn't see her though, but he could feal her warm scales.
Comet couldn't believe it: He was blind.

Bahhhh! Comet's. . .blind? But then howcome he can see in Zappy's story?

Chapter 3 Blind

Comet cried.
Spyro and Cynder looked concerned, his eyes were pitch black.
"Spyro, I think our son needs a docter." Cynder knew something was wrong.

The next day,

Spyro and Cynder carried Comet in a cradle made of vines towards the healer's den.
Cynder knocked.
"Yes?" asked the healer dragon, answering the door.
"We think our son is fealing bad." replied Spyro.
"Ah, bring him in and I'll see what the problem is." said the healer dragon.
Spyro and Cynder took him in and the docter put Comet on the table.
Comet cried even louder.
The docter staired at Comet's eyes, then gasped and dropped his equipment.
"What is it, Doc.?" asked Spyro.
"This is very bad. Very, very, bad," replied the docter, "I'm sorry to say this but......... your son is blind." said the docter.
Cynder was the first one to gasp, "What? They're has got to be a way!"
"I'm sorry, but you can't fix it." replied the docter.
"No!!!" cried Cynder.
Spyro couldn't believe it.
Spyro grabbed Cynder and the baby and left in sorrow.

Chapter 4 The Dragon Who Learned How to Breathe Fire

Comet lay in his crib the next day, sleeping.
Spyro and Cynder watched as he snoozed and got ready whenever they heard a sign of Comet waking.
Since their son was blind, they had to treat it with extra careful care.
30 minutes passed and Comet finally woke up.
"Do you need anything to drink, honey?" asked Cynder, handing Comet a juice box.
Comet pushed it away with a unsatisfied no.
Cynder looked down.
Spyro put a spoon full of oatmeal up to Comet's mouth, "You need to eat, son."
Comet took a few bites and cued.
He couldn't see, but he could still feal and hear.
After 5 minutes of eating, the food was all gone and Comet burped.
Cynder giggled, but then stopped after seeing Spyro not laughing.
"What you do you want to do next, Comet?" asked Spyro.
"I wamp to whear a swory, Dawdy." squaked Comet, he was having trouble with talking.
"All right, this one is called the Dragon who learned how to breathe fire." began Spyro.
Comet smiled a bit as he listened to the story.
Cynder laid down and listened too.
"Once upon a time, there was a little fire dragon, his name was Magnusia. His life was perfect, except for one problem: He couldn't breathe fire! The older dragons teased him and one day the bully in school, Blaze, called him a underpants dragon. He said an Underpants dragon has no powers and weared underwear on his head. Blaze never let Magnusia live it down.
Every day he called him Magnusia-gas, Magnusia-butt, Captain Underpants and many more names that had to do with underwear. Magnusia was very mad and upset that everyone was bullying him.
But one day, Blaze had made a trap in Magnusia's desk. Magnusia was taking a math test at Dragon school and had to get a pencil out of his desk. He opened it and Blaze's trap started. Underwear flew on to Magnusia's head. Magnusia got so mad and sad that he stormed out of the class room crying: "I hate you!"
Magnusia cried all day long and then decided to go to the dojo and tell the elders what happened.
"Ah, but you don't need to be sad, Magnusia. I can teach you fire, just believe that you can breathe fire and take a deep breath, then use it. Try it on one of those dummies over there." said the elder.
Magnusia ran up to the dummy and did exactly what he was told and suddenly breathed fire. Magnusia couldn't believe it: He had learned how to breath fire! Then everyone stopped treating him badly and Magnusia lived happily ever after. The End." finished Spyro.
"Thawt was a gweat swory, Dawdy." said Comet, but he was still upset that he couldn't see.
"Time to go to bed, Comet." said Cynder, giving him a kiss on the for head.
Spyro looked at her.
"That was a great story, Spyro." said Cynder.
"Thanks." replied Spyro.

Chapter 5 Tide to the Darkness

Comet had missed the differen't colors of the world. He only got to see them for 2 minutes until......... well he didn't know what made him blind.
He opened his eyes, all he saw was darkness, but he could here something in the background, "Momma?"
No one answered, then he heard a slight breeze of wind and realized he wasn't in the cave.
A hiss echoed across the area.
Comet began to panick, he started running, but ran into something.
He fell to the floor, brused.
Comet cried.
Suddenly, a voice said, "Ah, now I've got you right where I want you."
Comet recignized the voice, Convexity.
"As you can see, you are blind, tide to the darkness... by me!" screached Convexity.
Comet could here the sound of swords being drawn a slash.
*Cling!*
"You!" cried Convexity, someone had come to Comet's rescue, probly the one who saved him before.
The figure stabbed Convexity in the leg and light went everywhere.
"No!!!!!!" roared Convexity as he disappeared, Comet could see some light from outside the tides of darkness withen him.

Wow! But who saved him...?

Chapter 6 Miracles

A sudden burst of lightning shot around everywhere.
Comet's mouth opened wide as a huge explosion happened right in front of him.
Then another, and another...
They became louder and louder.
"You, Comet, are not tide to the darkness like Convexity said. You.... are light." said the mysterious figure.
A light floated towards him, then touched his eyes.
Comet gasped in pain.
Suddenly, a beam of lightr shot down from the sky and absorbed Comet's strength.
Then explosions blew everywhere, all Comet could see was light.
"This is...... your second sight." finished the voice.
A beam of light went everywhere and everything turned into a blinding light.

Comet opened his eyes to see he was in the cave. Wait! He could see?
Comet screamed in joy and looked at his surroundings, a purple dragon, a black dragon, a green bush outside.
"Spyro?" asked Cynder.
"I think... he can see again." replied Spyro.
Some how, Comet had got an ability to see with out sight.
He named it his 2nd sight.

HORRAY it's a miricle Comet can see!

Woot! He's got his vision back!

Actually, he got a special thing called 2nd sight where he can see even though his 1st sight is gone.

Chapter 7 Kidnapped

It had been a week since Comet had gotten the second sight.
Spyro and Cynder lay sleeping in the cave.
Comet couldn't get to sleep. He was to excited about being able to see.
Suddenly, a shadow straightened across cave and a loud hiss echoed.
Comet walked out of the cave to see what was going on.
He was swept of his feet and taken away.
"Momma!" cried Comet.
"Dadda!" he cried again.
The figure's scaley skin was jet black.
The figure flew away from the village, holding Comet in his paw.

Chapter 8 Fronze

The kidnapper grinned and went into his lair.
"The Starlight Prince... is mine." snarled the figure and threw Comet against the stone wall.
Green lanterns streamed everywhere.
Comet squeaked in pain.
The dragon stormed towards Comet and put his foot on his paw.
Comet gulped his eyes, ready to die.
The dragon lifted his sword and tried to swipe, but then stopped.
He grabbed Comet and threw him into a cage.
He slammed the cage shut and took out his cepter.
Pointing it at Comet, he chanted a spell and shot a beam of light at him.
Suddenly, it reflected right back at him.
Comet had shot something special, something called Fronze.
The dragon fell to the ground and screached.
The burst open from the attack.
Comet ran for the exit, there was none.
He looked up, there was one exit, through the ceiling.
Flapping his wings, he raised 3 feet.
He couldn't fly much since he was only a few weeks old.
The dragon got up and gasped.
He jumped up trying to grab Comet, when he went up 3 more feet.
Missing he fell to the ground.
Comet flew out the exit.
The dragon flew after him.
Comet shot more Fronze and knocked him out.
Comet flew away.

Whoo Comet! More please!

Chapter 9 Search

Comet searched and searched for his parents, but he couldn't find them. He was lost.
Comet began to cry as he trekked down the mushy hill towards a city ahead of him.
"Momma? Dadda?" asked Comet.
No answer.
Suddenly, a huge shriek echoed across the dark marsh he was in.
Comet began to panic as the ground began to shake.
He ran for it, not knowing what lie behind himself.
Comet looked back and saw a huge beast known as The Gorca.
The Gorca slashed his sword arms and gave Comet a scar on his back.
Comet cried out in pain and fell to the ground.
He shot a spark of Fronze at the creature.
The Gorca roared in anger as he covered his eyes.
Comet jumped back and used Fronze to break a tree and make it fall on to the Gorca.
The Gorca roared some more and through the tree of his spikey back.
He shot poison into the air.
Comet dodged them as they fell down.
The Gorca shrieked in anger and did a final slash at Comet.
Comet was hit and fell to the ground, unconcious.
