It probabaly won't work... I'm not saying I don't want old Spyro back (if they did I would miss TLoS but I wouldn't be like a noob and stuff) I mean that Activision probabaly won't care...

Personally I think they should alternate between the two, releasing a game for one of them one year and the other the next. This would allow for higher quality games without sacrificing quality.

Or they could mix the two, LOS and the original Spyro game.

That idea = epic fail if you mean mixing the story line. Now taking a some of the game play ideas and maybe characters that could fit in LoS might work.

Online Petitions to video game companies never work.

Online Petitions NEVER work for anything. While I prefer the original over TLoS, Dawn of the Dragon has gotten me quite interested in knowing what happens next in this universe.

I know most of the fans want the Old Spyro back, but an online petition isn't going to work to game companies like Activision, SpyroLUVA.

You should boyfriend spyro, they're good. At least see if you can download the re-released originals for PS3 and try them before you form an opinion.

I know you love the Old Spyro, SpyroLUVA, but don't you this posting these online petitions is bit too far? You'll only cause arguments against the LoS fans and the Old Spyro fans.

The Legend of Spyro fans can start an uproar. They might have liked the LoS much more then the orignal Spyro The Dragon. And then... Oh, goodness. I don't even want to think about it. >.>

You're the one who started this, SpyroLUVA, by making those online petitions and spreading the word about them on every Spyro forums, even on YouTube. It's going to be your fault sooner or later, that these uproars that are going to start. And besides, this thread isn't suppose to be in the DotD section anyways.

Insomniac has expressed no desire to ever make another Spyro game. Ted Price admitted to the fact that Insomniac had run out of ideas on how to expand the Spyro gameplay. He jokingly admitted that he felt Spyro could do more "if he had hands and could hold a gun." Seriously, if you really miss the originals that much, go buy the Ratchet & Clank games. The gameplay is similar to the originals except instead of having fire breath and a charge attack, you have a multipurpose wrench and several different creative weapons. But still plenty of platforming, humorous characters, colorful levels, and great music. >.>

Yeah i agree. Since DOTD was the last LOS game they will probably change back to the older spyro.

I'm going to be the shunned oddball here, but what if there are people who don't want TLoS OR the Originals?

Yeah, I'd rather have the originals end than Activision try and make an original style game... They should focus on trying to make TLoS better, not try something completly different and fail misserably...

Seriously, if the topic makes you want to argue, don't post there. By all means share an opinion on the topic but don't get all upset, or 'stroppy" as Tango calls it.

As for the talk of an uproar, what would it matter?!?!?! So ppl get upset that they don't like the current games, what are they going to do? Storm Activision HQ and protest? Doubtful. All they can and will do it wine and complain and argue online, and what do game companies care about that? They don't. At the most they'll make petitions to try and get LOS back. Gee, that's familiar...

P.S. I already play Ratchet and Clank, but it's no Classic Spyro....

Why put a topic about old Spyro in a LoS section? Telling the LoS fans not to come to an topic in an area made for LoS fans isn't quite right.
You'd most likley get some good attention in the "Spyro General" section.

Epically failing idea. We all know old Spyro isn't coming back. Perhaps a mix of the two would be nice though.

I actually do play them over and over again because they're frankly a LOT better than LoS trilogy in my opinion.

And the people who say the originals are not coming back, were is the PROOF? Is there is no proof, then all off that cr@p is not real. Start putting up proof TLOS fans. I'm sick and tired off TLOS fans saying that the originals are not coming back and don't show any proof! >.<

They were either going to stop making Spyro games because of the games after YoTD with the Original Spyro in them were starting to suck, or go with the LoS games. I think they did the right choice in continuing Spyro games, in a different universe and storyline. Whining, complaining, and not even online petitions won't help bring the Old Spyro back.
