I know DotD has been 'ruined' by Sierra's idea of trying to make the last chapter of the LoS trilogy as epic as possible, which in the process changed the designs of the characters and had the game rushed, but I believe the next Spyro game will be even better than DotD. I believe Mike Graham will have excellent ideas for the next Spyro games, as long as Activision leaves the ideas to him and the Spyro team.

I know some of us are hurt, angry and confused to what and why Sierra Entertainment did to DotD for Spyro's 10th anniversary, but I'm willing to move on and look forward to what Mike Graham has in store for us this time around.

NICE ATTITUDE I also think theyll be a better one tell me if you get news on the next game!

Its not real but it could be funny play as dark Cynder or Gaul

i want to play as spyro not cynder. i dont have anything against here but if cynder is going to be in a game spyro has to be 2.beside i like the 2 player co-op

Since E3 2009 didn't show any info about Spyro, this could be a sign that they might actually be taking their time working on the game, making the game designs and the story. Let's put the negative statements about DotD in the past, and look forward to the next Spyro game in the future.

If the game is announced to be released sometime in 2010, then I'm positive that they're going to be taking their time in making the next Spyro game, and probably going to help out with the Spyro movie coming out this year.

Dude, we're not going to get a another Spyro...

However, I do see a new Guitar Hero coming soon, as well as Mario Party 9...

There is going to more Spyro games, but we don't know which era they'll do and stick with. I think Mike Graham has more time to think about it.

I am ignoring him too. I don't think he lieks Spyro anymore either.

I hope they stick with TLoS Era. believe me, I think Spyro would lose a lot of fans if they introduced Co-op only to take it away in the next game. I personally can't see them not having Cynder i any future game because of the way DoTD ended. Spyro and Cynder are practically mates now, so it would be really weird to see Spyro with anyone other than Cynder

I personally like the latest Spyro better than in two previous games. And I am too thinking that they'll make much better game. Because TLOS is kind of "introduction", a start, or something as I understand from what I read about it. Remember, it's only a "dawn" . Of the dragon.

And as I pointed out in another topic. The name of the last game in TLoS Trilogy had been chanced. The original title was supposed to be "The legend of Spyro: The Darkest Hour" but the name was changed at the end of production to "Dawn of the Dragon". Why name something that is supposed to be the end of something with a beginning title?

Its either for two reasons... One, Spyro and Cynder have been trapped in a crystal for 3 years and now they've woken up... Two, its to do with the Dawn of Malefor...

As long as they can squeeze a decent amount of money from Spyro games they'll keep making them, he's proven that he is a good franchise.
I liked the character designs in DOTD, and the landscapes were nice, just too small.

Err... They already loss lots off fans when they made TLOS..... If they go back the the originals, then those fans will come back..... And I think there are more original lovers then TLOS lovers because Dark Spyro an't the whole Spyro fanbase...

And why can't they just do a co-up with Spyro and flame? Or intruduce Cynder in the originals?

That'll be nice but i like the mele attack,difrent element, and flying whenever i want.

I have a feeling that ETD haters will continue to hate it for the rest off there lives and never move on.... They have been posting "I DUN LIEK ETD!!!" for 7 years and they havn't shown any sign off stopping.... D:

I just want another Spyro game... not a Sonic the Dragon game, not a Frodo the Dragon or Snake the Dragon, just another Spyro game... =/

It doesn't matter, BlackDragon. If there's a certain, purple dragon in the next game, then it's going to be a Spyro game, with or without Elijah Wood as his voice actor.

It's time to start thinking positive about the next Spyro game, and I believe that it will be better than DotD with a better storyline plot and other things we can hopefully expect.

What about making your own house?

Let's all think positive about the next Spyro game. There is one good sign. Since no Spyro information hasn't released yet, they might actually take their time making a good storyline and a long game without any rush.

Good way to look at things HIR. DOTD didn't feel epic as a whole. Destroyer was an epic baddy, but really DOTD felt like the final 2 or 3 levels of a game or the final 2 or 3 chapters of a book, not a final game.

What they need to do is build a game around characters and make the characters more interesting.

they should combine the gameplay of the old Spyro games with the good quality of the new ones. Long interesting levels and interesting stories with a really good quality. and damn they should ask us the ones who play the games what we want!!!

They ran out of time (and maybe money). There were many more cutscence planned to develope characters, but due to time constraints they were cut.
