A friend of mine told me that there was not going to be any more Spyro games. Instead, there is going to be a load of games with Cynder.

Is this true? I don't really want it to be, as it wont feel right, having Cynder without any Spyro.

And... Does your freind have any proof? Sierra said themselfs there making more games... The whole idea of 'Legend of Cynder' is some stupid rumor that has been spreaded around the internet.

No, the Legend of Cynder isn't a real game. If it was going to be a real game, then it's gotta have Spyro in it.

And yes, there are going to be more Spyro games in the future, probably after the Spyro movie.

i think in the game after DOTD they should kill off Spyro and let Cynder take over the story
and like give it a twisted and complicated storyline like Spyro has a kid somewhere or something

Anyway, here's my two cents on this:
Despite the fact that I really like Spyro, it wouldn't be so bad to have maybe ONE Cynder game covering her time before ANB - meaning no Spyro in that game, of course, but spin-offs aren't always so bad.

Oh, and a friendly bit of advice: Don't get worked up over something you hear unless you hear it straight from the source or they have -actual- proof. You'll be a little less crazy that way. :'D

It would be impossible for Spyro to disappear just like that. But it would be nice to have a Cynder game , but they should return to making Spyro games after that. But they shouldn't rush, else the game they will create might suck.

The LoS series has concluded. If they did another reboot it'd be terrible.

Yes Actionvison... they did have awesome games at one time and such today, but all they worry about now is Guitar Hero... =/

Yeah, they release Guitar Hero games 4 through 6 times a year. It seems that they focus mostly on that game series.

Well, Activision owns Spyro. And would it make sense for them to suddenly go back to the original era when everyone else likes and gets used to the LoS era? It'll confuse fans which Spyro era Activision will stick with permanently.

Don't get me wrong i love the spyro series but i don't like the new games i only liked the old ones sometimes it is good to give a series a rest. Some series like Crash Bandicoot,Sonic,Mario are going make so many games they are going to kill the series i hope spryo doesn't go the same way

I hope not.... I am a Cynder fan, but I don't wan't them to make games about Cynder from now on.... I always wanted the games to be about Spyro.... BUT I would like one game about Cynder (From the day she was born right until the end off TEN). I would like to know alot more about her past and I think being Dark Cynder would be awsome! =D I think it would have Spyro in it, it would have him in some screenshots and he would be in it alot more when Cynder turns good. After that game, they should go back to Spyro and continue the originals.
