Spyro looked proudly over his two eggs, as Cynder licked them clean. "Think about it Spyro, one day, we'll be parents!" smiled Cynder.
"I know, but Cynder, I still have a feeling that Malefor might be still alive, and our children may be in danger." Spyro explained. "Spyro! We both saw him die. Malefor can never come back," Cynder said. Spyro sighed. "I have dreams about him at night," Cynder looked at Spyro with wide eyes. "You still do?" she asked. "Yes," repiled Spyro. "Well, we shouldn't be worrying, and let's focus on what's really important." Cynder said, as he looked over her eggs. "Yes, you're right. I'm sorry Cynder." Spyro said. "Don't be, it's over now." Cynder gave Spyro a lick, Spyro licked Cynder back. "Well, now we just have to wait," grinned Cynder. Spyro nodded. Cynder coiled around her two shining eggs, Spyro smiled, then slept next to Cynder.

Spyro raced across towards the edge of the cliff where Cynder was hanging for dear life. "Cynder!" Spyro yelled. "Spyro...help me!" Cynder cried. "I'm coming Cynder! Just hang on!" Spyro cried. Spyro slid down the steep cliff, as he dug his claws into the soft rocky earth. Spyro strechted out his paw towards Cynder's. "Almost there...just a little futher..." Suddenly, lighting flashed, and Malefor suddenly appeared. "Malefor!" cried Spyro. "Spyro! Help me..." cried Cynder as she started to slip down the cliff. "Cynder!" shouted Spyro, as he tried to reach her. But Malefor grabbed Spyro's paw in his claws. "Long live The Purple Dragon," came Malefor's booming voice. "No..." Spyro snarled. Cynder suddenly fell. She tried to flap her wings so she could fly, but she was falling down to fast. "CYNDER!" Spyro yelled. Malefor laughed, then let go of Spyro. "NO..." Spyro cried, as he fell to his death with Cynder. Malefor's horrid laugh echoed through the misty air.

"Spyro!" Spyro woke up with a shock. "What?" "Spyro! The eggs are hatching!" came Cynder's excited voice. Spyro shook himself, then stalked over to their nest. One of the eggs, which was a deep dark blue and yellow egg started to crack. Suddenly, the egg spilt in two and a dark blue and yellow dragon crawled out. "It's a boy," grinned Spyro. Cynder licked her son. Spyro nuzzled him. Then, the yellow and light blue egg started to crack. Then, that egg spilt in in two, and a yellow and light blue dragon crawled out. "It's a girl," Cynder smiled, as she licked her daughter. Spyro nuzzled her. "What should we call them?" Spyro asked. Cynder thought for a momment. "How about...The girl can be called Starlight," "And the boy Twilight!" "Yes! That's what we'll call them, Twilight and Starlight." Cynder beamed. Spyro smiled. Twilight and Starlight blinked at their parents.

A FEW YEARS LATER...

Twilight prowled through the long thick grass, his sister, Starlight was sitting on a near-by rock. "I'll get her this time," Twilight hissed to himself. He slowly crept towards her, his head low, eyes focused on her, then... Twilight leapt into the air, "HA! I've got you now!" he snarled. "Oh, really?" grinned Starlight as she quickly leapt off the rock. Which left Twilight landing nose first onto the hard rock. "Ouch," Twilight growled, as he rubbed his sore nose. "Ha! I fooled you again!" grinned Starlight, as she trotted away. "Here's my chance!" hissed Twilight to himself. He got down low, then... Twilight pounced on-top of his sister. "Ha!" yowled Twilight. "Not so fast!" hissed Starlight as she tumbled Twilight onto his back. "Hey! No fair!" Twilight growled. Starlight jumped off her brother, then bounded towards the Temple. Twilight sighed. Just once he would like to get Starlight back. She was always stronger then him. Twilight then trotted after his sister.

Spyro flew through the deep blue sky. He wondered about Malefor, and if he was really gone for good. If Malefor was still out there, Spyro would have to stop him again. But Cynder was probaly right, they both saw him die. But Spyro just couldn't believe it. He knew that Malefor was out there...somewhere... Spyro swooped and soared, as he glided towards the Temple. Spyro landed safely, then walked inside the Temple. Starlight suddenly pounced ontop of him. "I got you again Dad!" She yowled. Spyro smiled. "You sure did," Spyro then grabbed her by the scruff of her neck, and plonked her on the ground. Spyro gave her a lick. Starlight smiled, then hugged her father. Spyro hugged his daughter. "Hey! I want to join!" came Twilight's stubborn yelp. Spyro grinned. "C'ome then!" Twilight leapt into his father's arms, and hugged him tight. "Aww, how sweet," said Sparx. Spyro looked up. Sparx was hovering over his head. "Hello Sparx," Spyro grinned. Sparx smiled that cheeky smile he always had. Starlight then whispered something in Spyro's ear. "Yeah! Of course you can." Spyro smiled. "Do what?" asked Sparx. Twilight and Starlight jumped out of Spyro's arms. The two little dragons smiled cheekiesly. "Oh no, no, no!" cried Sparx. "You better run, Uncle Sparx!" grinned Twilight. "Mummy!" cried Sparx as he quickly flew away. "Let's get him!" cried Starlight. Twilight and Starlight quickly raced after Sparx. Spyro chuckled to himself.

Spyro then walked over to where the elders slept. Terrador snored loudly, while Volteer talked in his sleep, while Cyril boosted about his royal blood in his sleep. Spyro's purple gaze fitted on where Ignitus used to sleep. Spyro missed his father, since Ignitus was the new Chronicler. "You miss him, don't you?" whispered Cynder. Spyro turned around. Cynder was there. "Yeah I do," whispered Spyro back. Cynder smiled. "C'ome Spyro, let's leave the elders sleep in peace," Cynder said as she walked out of the room. Spyro followed her.
They soon came to where Spyro first learned how to fly, ten years ago.
"Cynder, I have a bad feeling. I truely think that Malefor is out there, and I need to stop him." Spyro explained. "Spyro, we both saw him die. I don't want to go through this again." Cynder said. Spyro frowned. "You just don't understand! I know that Malefor is out there," Spyro snarled. "Spyro, wait!" cried Cynder. But it was to late, Spyro had already flown away.

Far away, in the Malefor's Lair...

"Bah! I need to defeat Spyro and Cynder once and for all, before any of the other's find out that I really am still alive." growled Malefor. "Zarki, I need you to go out there and stop Spyro, while I think of a plan." Malefor roared. A black and red dragon loomed out of the shadows. "Yes Master," snarled Zarki. Zarki quickly flew off to stop Spyro.

Spyro flew through the dark blue sky. "I just know Malefor is out there, I wish that Cynder would believe me." Spyro sighed. "But maybe I'm wrong. What if he is really gone for good? I'll just have to make sure," Spyro flapped his wings harder, and flew across trees and valleys.
Suddenly, Spyro bumped into another dragon. "What the? Who are you?" Spyro asked, starlted. It was Zarki. Zarki just grinned, an evil twisted smile. "Who are you?" growled Spyro. Zarki didn't replie, he swipped his paw at Spyro, claws streched out. "Ah!" Spyro yelled, as he fell down. Blood trickled down Spyro's purple face. Just as Spyro was about to hit the ground, he opened his wings and slowly glided down safely onto the earth. "Nice landing, purple whelp," snarled Zarki as he charged towards Spyro. Spyro quickly blew flames onto Zarki. Zarki yelped, his face scorched black. Zarki yelped in pain. "Want to cool it down?" Spyro growled. Spyro then shot out ice spikes at Zarki. "Ahh!!" Zarki cried, the ice spikes jabbing him. "Stop! Stop!" he yelled. Spyro stopped. "Who are you?" Spyro snarled. "I am Zarki!" Zarki yelled, as he charged towards Spyro, and raked Spyro's fore-head with his claws. Spyro fell to the ground, blanked out. Zarki smiled. "Now for Cynder," Then, Zarki flew away.

Cynder gazed outside the Temple window, where she had last saw Spyro that day. "Spyro, where are you?" Cynder whispered to herself. Twilight came charging towards his mother. "Ha-" Cynder easyliy grabbed him with her tail before Twilight could jump onto her. "Nice try son," Cynder grinned. "Aww! I can never get anyone, but Uncle Sparx." Twilight grumbled. Cynder smiled. "You will one day, my little hatchiling," Cynder smiled. Starlight came bounding over. "Hello, mother! Where's father?" Starlight asked, cheerfully. "Yeah, where is he?" Twilight asked. Cynder looked at her children, not knowing what to say. "I'm sorry, but I should of told you sooner," Cynder said. "Tell us what?" Starlight asked, looking a bit worried. "You're father has left," Cynder explained. "he flew away to find Malefor. And stop him, I tried to stop you're father, but I was too late..." Tears filled Cynder's eyes. Twilight and Starlight hugged their mother, and started to cry a little too. "We need to find him!" snarled Twilight, blinking back the tears. "But who knows where he is now?" Starlight cried. "Then we need to go look for him," Cynder said.
"Too late, Cynder." came Zarki's dark voice.

Ember said, in her sweet girly voice she always used. But Spyro wouldn't listen. "Where am I? And where's Cynder?" Spyro demanded. "You're at my place, and I don't know where Cynder is. Anyway, if I did, I wouldn't tell you." Ember repiled. Ember held Spyro's paw, but Spyro swiped his paw away from her. Ember lived far away from the Temple because she hated Cynder. She lived with her brother, Flame the red fire dragon. "Spyro, listen to me. You don't need Cynder. She was your enemy, and she still is. She could still be working for Malefor right now." Ember explained. "What? No! Ember, I know your making this up. Cynder's good now, and nothing can change that. You're just trying to make me go with you, and break up with Cynder." Spyro snarled. Ember glared at Spyro. "I'm not making this up!" she snapped. "I can tell, Ember. You can't hide it," Spyro said. Ember sighed, tears poured down her face. "OK! I admit it, I did make it up. But I want to be with you Spyro. We can make a new life together. Flame wouldn't mind, please Spyro. Anyway, Cynder WAS one of your greatest enmey's." Ember snapped. "Ember! Just leave Spyro alone, like you said, he needs to rest." said Flame, as he walked in. Ember grunted, then slowly left the room. "Thanks Flame," Spyro grinned. "No problem, Spyro." Flame smiled, then walked after his sister.

Cynder gasped at Zarki's apperance. "M-m-mother? Who is this?" yelped Starlight. "Zarki? What are you doing here?" Cynder snarled. "Oh, nothing Cynder. Just the fact I destroyed Spyro and now, I'm going to kill you and you're family." Zarki roared. "No you don't!" roared Terrador as he charged towards Zarki, and pinned him down. Volteer and Cyril raced after Terrador as well. "Cynder! Get out of here! We'll be fine!" Volteer yelled. Cynder nodded, then skooped Twilight and Starlight into her arms, then quickly raced outside and took off into the skies. "Mother, who was that?" Starlight asked again. "That was Zarki, he was my x-boyfriend when I was evil. But he couldn't of killed Spyro...he just couldn't..." Cynder explained. "He wouldn't of killed father! And if he did, I'll teach him a piece of my mind," Twilight snarled. Cynder held her hatchlings tighter. "Could we fly now mother?" Twilight moaned. "No, I need you safe with me. If Zarki is still alive, that must mean...Malefor is as well," Cynder said as she flew up higher.

After three days, Spyro finally had the strength to fly back to the Temple. "Cynder would be worried sick about me," Spyro muttered. Ember fell onto her knees. "Please, Spyro! You have to stay! You don't need Cynder, you need me!" Ember begged. Spyro shook his head. "I'm sorry Ember, but I'm leaving. And I will love Cynder always, we can be friends?" Spyro suggested, he did feel a bit sorry for Ember. "Friends? What about Bestest friends?" Ember begged. "No Ember, just friends. Nothing more," Spyro snarled. Ember sighed. Nothing would make Spyro go with her. "Face it Ember, Spyro's just not onto you," Flame teased. "Stay out of this Flame!" Ember roared. "Sheesh, fine. Grumpy guts," Flame muttered. "Anyway, I'll be on my way now." Spyro said, as he walked outside. "See ya later, Spyro!" Flame called. "Bye Flame! And bye Ember," Spyro yelled, as he flew away. "Spyro! WAIT!" Ember yelled, as she quickly flew after him. "Well, I guess I better follow them," Flame sighed, as he flew after Spyro and Ember.

Cynder was upset and angry. Spyro had been gone for three whole days, and the elders had been captured. What was she to do? Cynder just couldn't do it without Spyro. Twilight and Starlight missed Spyro so much, they would sometimes cry most of the day because Spyro was gone. "What if father never comes back, Twilight?" Starlight sobbed. "What would happen then?" "Starlight! Don't think that! Father WILL come back, I just know he will. Won't he, mother?" Twilight said, trying to hold back his tears. Cynder said nothing. She just gazed up at the sky, hoping to see Spyro fly down and hug her. But, Spyro wasn't there. Zarki had captured Terrador, Cyril and Volteer when Cynder, Twilight and Starlight had made a dash for it. They had returned to the Temple, only finding them not there. Cynder then realized that Zarki must of captured them, and probaly taken them to Malefor. And God knows what happened to them next.

Spyro zoomed through the sky, forgetting why he had ran away in the first place. He justed needed to get back, and tell his family that he was alright. But Ember was gaining on him, with Flame trailing behind. "Spyro stop!" Ember yelled. But Spyro just flew faster. Ember was falling behind, Flame tried to stop Ember for going to Spyro, but she easily just wiggled away from her brother, and charged towards Spyro. "Ember, no!" Flame yelled. But it was to late, Ember had used one of her powers, which was called The Kiss. The Kiss is a power that only the pink dragons can use. The Kiss will hpnotise any boy, including the Purple Dragon. But it will only work for a few days. Ember blew a huge smacking pink kiss towards Spyro. "Spyro! Look out!" Flame cried. But it was to late. The Kiss hit Spyro, and Spyro was now under Ember's control.

Oh No! *Kills Ember* There, all better! (LOL)

I promise we will find him," Cynder smiled. "How can you promise that?" Starlight asked. "I just know we'll find him. It's just not like Spyro to leave," Cynder said. "Well, we better find him," Twilight smiled. "Ok, now go to sleep my hatchlings," Cynder purred. Twilight and Starlight snuggled up in their mossy cosy nest's, then fell alseep. Cynder smiled. Then she quietly prowled out outside the Temple. Cynder looked up at the stary sky.

She has made you done something terrible wrong. You must wake up imendentlily. Now, before it's to late. And by the way, please call me Ignitus." Ignitus explained. "Wait, what do you mean? Too late? What has Ember made me do? It better be nothing embrassing." Spyro said. "Quickly, Spyro...!" Ignitus started to fade. "WAIT! I want to know what Ember has made me do, and Cynder, she must be so worried and angry, Chronicler! Please..." Spyro yelled. But it was to late, The Chronicler had faded away...

Spyro opened his eyes, only to see a purple and black egg, snuggled up in a soft mossy nest. What? Another Purple Dragon? "Isn't it beautiful Flame?" Came Ember's bubbly giggly voice. Spyro whipped his head around to find Ember, sitting up proudly, and Flame, slouching next to her.
"Yeah, I guess...Hey! Spyro! You're back!" Flame cried, and he quickly rushed over to Spyro, and took him into one of the corners of the cave. "Flame, what is going on?" Spyro hissed. "Well...it's a bit arkward, but um...Ember laid an egg, and you're the father," Flame squeaked. "WHAT!" Spyro yelled. "No! I can't be! What would Cynder think? And Twilight and Starlight? What have I done? " "Spyro, just calm down. I know it's a big shock for you, but Ember loves you..." Flame tried to explain. But Spyro was already running out the door. "I have to find Cynder!" Spyro yelled. "Wait Spyro! You can't leave me!" Ember cried. Spyro turned his gaze towards Ember. "I hate you," then, Spyro quickly raced out the door, and flew away. Ember just sat there, with her mouth hanging open. "Flame! Go after him, now!" Ember yelled. "No! Ember, just leave it." Flame snarled, then he prowled away. Ember sighed, then snuggled up with her egg.

Twilight and Starlight had too fly extra fast if they wanted to keep up with their mother. "Mother! Slow down!" panted Starlight, as she tried to fly up with her mother and brother. "What's the matter, Starlight? Going to fast for you?" Twilight snorted. Boys sometimes... Starlight flapped her wings like mad, and tackled Twilight. "Ah! Noo!" Twilight yelled, as he fell. "Ha! Who's the slow one now?" Starlight laughed. Twilight quickly flew up next to his sister. Girls sometimes... "What did I tell you both? Not to fight when we're flying!" Cynder hissed. "We're sorry mother, well, at least I am. Twilight started it." Starlight explained. "Yeah right! If Starlight hadn't of tackled me..." "Enough!" Cynder yelled. Twilight and Starlight jumped. "S-s-sorry Mother, we didn't-" "I said, enough! And that is enough! C'om, we need to find you're father, where-ever he is." Cynder snarled, then she flew ahead. "Hey! Wait for us!" Twilight and Starlight cried, as they quickly flew after her.

This chains can only be brocken by the Purple Dragon, and the Purple Dragon only!" Malefor chuckled. Cyril tugged at the chains. "Well, Spyro will come! And you'll be sorry!" Cyril snarled. "Spyro will come, right?" "Cyril! Don't say that! Spyro will come!" Terrador hissed. Volteer sighed. "I left my cookies in the oven! The'll be burnt by now...and they were chocolate chip as well." Volteer sighed sadly. "We have cookies," Zarki whispered. "Zarki! Don't tell them that! You fool! The're my cookies!" Malefor hissed. "You like cookies? Ha!" Cyril laughed. Malefor roared, and spat a fireball at Cyril. "YEEOOOOWWWW!!!" Cyril yelled. His body scroched black. "Cyril!" Terrador cried. "Now, no-one will say a word!" Malefor growled. "Yes Malefor," Terrador and Volteer said. Zarki laughed softly. "Zarki, you did stop Spyro, didn't you?" Malefor snapped. Zarki nodded. "I did Master, he was lying on the floor helpless. I chased Cynder away, along with the hatchlings." Zarki explained. Malefor frowned. "What hatchlings? Were any of them purple?" Malefor asked. Zarki thought for a momment. "No, none of them were purple sir." Zarki said. Malefor smiled. "Good, well you can kill the hatchlings if you like, and I'll deal with Spyro." Malefor grinned. Zarki nodded.
Malefor laughed an evil horrifying laugh, that echoed through the mountains.

Is that...Cynder! Twilight and Starlight! Spyro flapped his wings with all his might, Cynder, Twilight and Starlight flapped their wings like mad as well. "Spyro!" Cynder yelled. "Father!" Twilight and Starlight cried. "Cynder! Twilight! Starlight!" Spyro yelled. Twilight and Starlight leapt into Spyro's arms. "Father! We thought we would never see you again!" Starlight cried, kissing Spyro. "Of course, I knew you would come back," Twilight bosted. "No you didn't!" Starlight snapped. "How do you know, sister?" Twilight spat. Then, once again, the two were fighting again. "Cynder, I'm so sorry." "Don't be," Cynder said. "I should of believed you in the first place. Malefor is alive, so is Zarki." Cynder explained, as she squeezed Spyro tight. "You know Zarki?" Spyro asked. "Nevermind, let's just go home, then we can explain then." Cynder explained. Spyro nodded. "C'om kids! We're going back home now!" Spyro called. Twilight and Starlight stopped arguing. "We're coming!" Starlight smiled, as she flew after her parents. "Hey! Wait for me!" Twilight cried, as he quickly flew after his family.
