i used to be a french toast stan. while that's still my favorite i love all of them dearly

i have good memories of people making me pancakes as a kid. i associate waffles with traveling and excitement. like those big fluffy waffles you can make in the cheap hotels. and french toast just tastes really good with the right kind of bread

Two votes for waffles, two votes for French Toast, one vote for pancakes...

I expected waffles to win because the internet seems to have a thing for them... but honestly, I thought pancakes would be second! French Toast never really gets a whole lot of attention, so that's a pleasant surprise. Although I'm also surprised pancakes haven't gotten enough love in this topic!

I'm actually at a tie between French Toast and pancakes. It used to be pancakes all the way, but then I had true French Toast (Lindsey's), so it became a tie.

I honestly never liked waffles, but to be fair, I've never had true waffles. I actually only had fake, frost bitten, rubbery pancakes, French Toast, and waffles for my entire childhood (with one exception I'll get to in a moment), but pancakes were my favorite fake, frost bitten, rubber, nonetheless.

They actually didn't start off so terrible, it's just that our microwave started breaking so it actually took a little longer to cook them, but... my mother didn't care about that, or possibly didn't even realize it, so I was left with ice.

In 2010, I had my first real pancake, cooked by my evil stepmother, so possibly laced with poison, but it was good nonetheless.

It didn't compare to the real pancakes I had in the future, though. Lindsey and Danny both made me excellent pancakes. Huge pancakes, too! And I'm actually mid eating pancakes from McDonald's, but they're smol.

I've yet to have true waffles, so perhaps my story remains incomplete, but only time will tell. Waffles always had less appeal to me because they were more crunchy and bitter than the other two, those of which were very soft, fluffy, and welcoming.

So yes, for now, we're at a tie between French Toast and pancakes for me.
