It has been many hard days for the companions of the Enduring Legacy, a giant vessel set to fulfill many missions. Tomorrow, the ship will set sail to Falcon's Beak one more time, and the journey ahead will be as dangerous as the last one, perhaps even more so. Shade the dragolet is still under heavy training, and after a recent outburst, it's once again up to the Guardians and his friends to help him. With the group growing and the knowledge of other dragolets still existing somewhere out there, everyone's destinies are full of uncertainties. But despite the hardships of their journey, there has also been great fortune. New friends. Old friends, reuniting once more. New bonds, and even true love. But their quests are far from over. There is still much to be done, and with the threat of a war looming in the horizon between Aelinon and the Silvianestri, the future is looking glum. But faith and hope still lives on. How will the companions handle their new adventure?

Name: Ilasi
Age: 24 Species: Merfolk Good or evil: Good Appearance: Ilasi is somewhat smaller in stature; however, the hard work she frequently does has definitely left her, at the very least, not looking scrawny. She can adapt between a tail form and a bipedal form; the latter takes longer to get into than the former. She has long, black hair, which she typically keeps bundled up when working. Personality: Ilasi is generally patient and kind. She often doesn't voice her true feelings about things, or, if she does, does it as nonconfrontationally as possible. This can, in some instances, lead to some resentment, though she is generally good at not showing it. She is rather compliant, willing to go along with what she's told to do, and seeks to justify her own value. Despite all this, she is somewhat ambitious, looking to improve herself. She is somewhat more confident after entering a relationship with Maverick. Weapons: Ilasi is not a trained fighter, but can, to some extent, use water magic to defend herself. Elements: Ilasi has a growing roster of spells, most of them being water-based. The ones that aren't are generally linked to divination in some form. History: Ilasi, having felt insufficient and pitied as a child, had long sought to improve her station, making it on her own and becoming as skilled in valuable trades as possible. To this end, she has taken on many jobs - though most of them weren't glamorous, they have, as a result of lack of supply of willing labor, been relatively well-paying, and have given her opportunity to improve her magic abilities via apprenticeships. Ilasi is no stranger to the horrors of war, but has never been engaged in any sort of battle herself. She has gotten a job aboard the Enduring Legacy, and has recently began a relationship with Maverick after many efforts to feel him out to see if he felt the same way. Name: Laszur Age: 27 Species: Galud Good or evil: Whatever side the law is on is the side he is on. Appearance: Laszur is around the size of the typical galud, with light beige skin and scaling. He is typically wearing blue wyvernhide armor, and what would appear to be a blindfold over his eyes in the day. Personality: Highly analytical and focused, Laszur is more concerned with doing his job than receiving any sort of praise for it. He follows orders without question, and does not like to share his personal thoughts. He is merciless when it comes to delivering justice based on Aelinon's laws, and will spare no effort to have violators face penalties, regardless of their rank or standing. Weapons: A pike, tail barb, machete, and several lighter spears suited for throwing. Elements: Light and dark magic History: Laszur grew up in Aelinon, and has always been interested in the military on account of all of the recruiting attempts and other propaganda related to it. Having a natural gift for magic, he focused his pursuit on abilities which would maximize his stealthiness. This has given him a position as a member of the Silent Spear. He will be serving aboard the Enduring Legacy on Aelinon's behalf, to monitor Shade's development. Name: Latnok Age: 32 Species: Human Good or evil: Good Appearance: A little over 6 feet tall, his skin has turned brownish-black, as a result of the Draconic Ascension ritual performed to grant him more power. This also left two burn scars around his eyes, like it did for others who have performed it. His body is covered in many scars as a result of his confidence in his combat abilities and willingness to cut it close. Generally, most of his features cannot be seen while he's under his green dragonhide armor, which covers him from head to toe and leaves him faceless. Personality: Strong-willed and uncompromising, Latnok places high importance in working towards mission accomplishment. Though he tends to be quite pleasant to those he likes and respects, he lacks empathy for and can be severely harsh to those he doesn't like. He is highly pragmatic, often to a fault, and only shows mercy in combat when he wants to capture his enemy. Weapons: Latnok's primary weapons are his bow, made of living wood from the Tree of Vitality, and his axe, made of phoenix steel. He has more recently gained a spear, made out of the bones of an ishiud creature known as a whistler - the spear enhances his magic capabilities while he wields it. He is proficient in most other weapons usable by humans, however, and can fight effectively at close range without a weapon by using strikes amplified by force magic. Elements: Though Latnok can use several basic elements for mundane tasks, he is not combat proficient with any of them. Instead, he relies on a form of magic utilized by the Ardent Guardians in combat known as force magic, which works by modifying and redirecting kinetic force. His arrows can be charged with various spells. Like most experienced Guardians, he can use combat prescience to predict offensive and defensive maneuvers by his foes. History: Latnok ran away from home at a young age to spare his mother the burden of having to care for him. He moved to a city where he lived as a street urchin, mainly surviving by hunting and doing odd jobs. At one point, someone attempted to kidnap him, but he ended up killing the kidnapper with a hunting knife on his person. Hunting was Latnok's most significant skill, and a chance encounter led to him joining the Ardent Guardians. His unwillingness to kill led to the deaths of two fellow Guardians, a fact which drives his complete lack of mercy or sympathy to enemies. He left the Ardent Guardians briefly due to differences in preferred methodology, but rejoined after learning of a dire threat following his encounter with Shade. During his time in that mission, he had begun to grow somewhat of a bond with the fur dragon Raclaw - a former pet, a project of the Ardent Guardians in facilitating the coexistence of humans and dragons, now turned free dragon. This has culminated in their linking via Raclaw's collar, allowing them to share thoughts and emotions. Latnok, learning about how Angora truly feels, now seeks to make amends for his harsh treatment of her - at least to some degree. Though he had temporarily resigned as a leader, he is now determined to serve his role once more. Name: Leoquin Age: 25 Species: Merfolk Appearance: Leoquin is about the height of an average man, with a lithe build. Depending on his environment, he can adapt between a tail form and a bipedal form, though it's far quicker to transform to the former than the latter. Good or evil: Good Personality: Leoquin is generally amicable. However, while he often has the right idea of things he definitely should not say, he tends to have poorer wording on other things on account of his tendency to say the first thing that comes to his mind, which can be interpreted as rude to the uninitiated. He also will make no effort to hide his disdain for others - unless they are his superior. Weapons: Leoquin is most comfortable with spear-type weapons, as they are relatively easy to use underwater, though he has some knowledge of other kinds of weapons. Elements: Leoquin knows a few water spells, mostly to help with his fishing. History: Ever since a fateful day, Leoquin has been hard at work honing his seamanship skills, to make himself more useful to any potential crew he might join. In addition to combat, he has knowledge on many facets of running a ship and guiding a journey, including navigation and cartography.

Name: Seraos
Age: 27 Species: Human Good or Evil: He feels his place is to serve the people, and he will be on whatever end of the spectrum he has to in order to fulfill that. Appearance: Seraos stands at 5'11''. He has black hair, which he constantly cuts off due to not wanting to spend the time to maintain it. His official clothing, though definitely regal, is not nearly as showy as traditional garments. Personality: Seraos considers himself a servant of the people. He is thoroughly dedicated to the survival of Aelinon. On account of his inexperience, many of his political decisions are driven by his more experienced advisors, and much of his power is delegated. Weapons: Seraos typically carries a small blade of some sort for self-defense, and knows some magic. He has his royal guard to protect him, however, so he doesn't need to rely on just his own fighting strength. Elements: None History: Seraos had a rather sheltered life as a prince, most of his time being invested in various studies. He assumed the throne at a young age, as a result of his father's life being taken by disease. Since then, he has worked hard to learn what he can of leadership. Name: Sere Age: 123 Species: Human Good or evil: Good Appearance: Sere stand at about 7 feet tall. Like Latnok, his skin has changed to be blackish-brown, and his eyes have two burn scars around them. He shows signs of his old age, but lacks any of the frailty typically associated with it. He has scars from his many battles, but not nearly as many as Latnok, on account of being a much more conservative fighter. He is generally seen in his armor composed of red dragonhide, which covers him from head to toe, and leaves him faceless. Personality: Sere is a man who, though he has strong ideals, recognizes that hard, unpleasant choices often have to be made to achieve them. Nevertheless, he does not stop striving for them, even when other Guardians disagree with him. He has unshakable faith in humanity, and looks to better his fellow men whenever he has the opportunity to. As Godfather of the Ardent Guardians, he is in charge of the general direction of the group - but always emphasizes the need to leave no one behind, and personally attends to the death of every Guardian. Weapons: Though Sere's preferred choice of weaponry are generally polearms, he also wields Grimbane, a mystical sword which fell into possession of the Ardent Guardians some time not too long after their founding. Grimbane, requiring high proficiency in both light and dark magic, amplifies the user's capabilities with them, and draws power from the user's resolve to do whatever they have to do to reach the ideal. Like Latnok and every other Guardian, he is still deadly in close quarters even without a weapon. Elements: Sere knows many spells of most basic elements - he uses light and dark magic in combat to deadly effect, with them complimenting each other and allowing him to strike at opponents from almost every angle. Like most trained Guardians, he can use combat prescience to predict offensive and defensive maneuvers by his foes. History: Sere joined the Ardent Guardians over a century ago. After a horrific battle with the massive black dragon Shiavara, Sere realized how horrific it was to keep losing people to ill planning, and vowed to find a way to protect as many people as possible. His research into several forms of defensive magic have not only kept him alive, but have allowed him to outlive other Guardians who he would be in competition for in rank. Such tenacity eventually led him to his position today, where he has been able to enact many sweeping policies which have drastically extended the life expectancy of a Guardian. Name: Veris Age: 20 Species: Wyvern Good or evil: Good (if only incidentally.) Appearance: Veris is a large wyvern, covered in a mix of black and dark blue scales. His tail has calcification at the end which allows him to use it as a weapon. Personality: Veris is highly obedient to most Guardians, especially Sere, as a result of his training. He is highly gluttonous, a vestige of his wild nature. Weapons: Veris wields his claws, fangs, and tail as weapons, and is often supplemented by whatever his rider wields. Elements: None History: Veris is considered a shining example of wyvern breeding, having an ideal mix of strength, stamina, size, intelligence, and coloration. For this reason, he is the Godfather's personal mount.

Name: Raclaw
Age: 18 (almost 19) Species: Fur Dragon Good or evil: Good Appearance: Raclaw has feathered wings and a furred body. A thick adjustable leather collar can be seen around his neck-- with a silver buckle, silver D-ring, and an emerald green gem visibly embedded just to the right of the silver D-ring. To those familiar with the Argent Guardians, the collar may mark him as "trusted" and indicate that he is a friend to the Guardians. Additionally, an leather harness ring and golden "tail band" can also be seen on the tail and the later can change "forms" to suit his needs-- often being used a tail spike while in close combat. Both the collar and the tail band detect as magical to those who are able to tell, except under very specific circumstances. (Official reference drawn by shorty with additional RP-specific details added as needed.) Personally: Raclaw is a curious dragon and a tad timid. Still somewhat tame after his time with humans-- he chooses to be a little gentler, but can be serious when he needs to be. Part of him still seeks to discover his past; having received some answers but not enough. He has since been collar claimed by Latnok and has began to incorporate certain aspects of the Guardian's personality into his own. The two are "linked" and share in each other's thoughts and emotions. This alongside mental links with both Shade (Dragolet) and Verris (Wyvern) can slightly alter and influence his personality over time. Weapons: Raclaw's natural weapons include the use of his CLAWS and TEETH. In addition-- he may also use the collar's included "TEACH" function (similar to that of a shock collar), but only as a last resort as it pains him greatly. This last "weapon" only functions where outside magic is allowed. Elements: Raclaw's elements include the use of FIRE and an advanced form of TELEPATHY. History: Raclaw originally lived with a human family, first as a pet and later as a sort of protector. As a young pup—he was found alone and with no sign of his parents in sight. He soon found himself dropped off at a nearby farm where he was discovered to have an irremovable collar with a tag that simply read "RACLAW." As he developed and grew; he was never mistreated and often played alongside the family dog. It was the family’s hope that he may eventually develop his abilities and they grow concerned when he couldn’t even muster a puff of smoke. In addition, there was the still irremovable collar and so—they took his to a "specialist" in the nearby village. It was there that Raclaw was recognized and Julian had told them how he had found Raclaw; and had been the very same “bystander” who dropped him off at their nearby farm. The family explained what they had observed as Julian "inspected" the collar-- its seamless appearance, the two irremovable gems to the left and right of the D-ring, and how it had adjusted itself overtime never growing too small or too tight as Raclaw grew. It was revealed that the two gems found on the collar were in fact responsible for blocking Raclaw’s elements and Julian agreed to study the matter further as they continued to give Raclaw a quality life. Before they left, Julian had been also been able to remove the claw-shaped tag (which had made quite a bit of noise) and allowing Raclaw to eventually hunt on his own without fear of scaring away the prey. As time passed and the "research" continued—Raclaw became more aware of his own restrictions and they soon visited Julian’s lab once again to find out what progress had been made on the collar. It was still that Julian explained how he had come across an ancient Drow manual in his travels and how an "intelligent presence within the collar" allowed it to accept commands and enable or disable certain functions. He explained how anyone with physical contact to the collar would "just know" the commands and be able to act upon them. In addition, this person could also bond with the collar and act up certain commands ether by touch, verbal component, or mental thought—effectually owning Raclaw. Julian agreed to study the commands further and would later meet the family at their farm. After allowing some time to pass, the day eventually came and they were able to make quick work in "disabling" the collar. Upon triggering the voices inside and acting upon certain commands—the two colored gems just seemed to fall out leaving a seamless leather surface behind and a previously unseen buckle had appeared. Raclaw stopped the family from removing the collar, however, and telepathically spoke to them for the very first time. He had thanked them, but expressed how he had wanted to keep the collar—both a sign of his yet unknown past and also to remember the family by. Julian explained how there was away and how Raclaw could potentially influence his own collar. The family, although confused at first, reluctantly agreed to let Raclaw try. Upon speaking a carefully worked string of Drow commands—there was nothing at first, followed by feelings of confusion, and then one singular voice. “Your commands are accepted, collared one. As long as I am with you and remain unclaimed by another—only you may command my actions for as long as you are able. Any command asked of me will be followed including any that may negatively impact yourself. And if you wish to truly belong to another… you may do so. But be warned that doing do forfeits some of your own control until the day they release you.,” the collar spoke seeming to reluctantly accept that the rules had changed. A new command also came to mind... one that he dare not speak unless he truly meant it. From that day one-- Raclaw was truly free for the first time and able to access his abilities for the first time in years. Now able to fend for himself and wanting more out of life, he would soon leave the farm and the humans to whom he had come to know and love. They weren't just owners or former owners to him-- they were something more. They were family and people that he deeply cared for. At first... he kept close by but soon went further and further out on his own. His visits became less often and his family wished him well on whatever future journeys may lie ahead for him. Eventually-- the humans became worried about the massive smoke coming from a nearby mountain and he volunteered to check it out on their behalf. It was doing this journey where he had met Latnok and Sere—two "Guardians" who were part of a human organization responsible for his collaring and partly responsible for losing him. It was revealed that his collar was a modified Restraining Collar designed to help control the abilities of young dragon hatchlings who were given up by their parents—and placed with humans in hopes of bettering human/dragon relations. It was also revealed how these young dragons were meant to be guided by a Guardian, that Raclaw’s Guardian had somehow perished, and that Julian was in fact a Guardian. It was inferred that Julian, an Adjudicator in the ranks and head of magical research, had in fact placed the intelligent presence in his collar—presumably to make some sort of magical artifact. Despite this, a bond between him and Latnok (a Guardian) formed-- and only grew with time. |

It was only during the aftermath of this journey that the intelligent presence had fully awoken-- revealing itself as "Damon" and explaining some of its backstory. Damon had once been an actual person who specialized in embedding magical properties into otherwise originary items; and having had the unfortunate luck of soul trapping himself into an amulet. Having been chosen to partake in an experiment, Damon had been unknowingly placed into Raclaw's collar where he would remain mostly dormant until the Guardians eventually officially "unlocked" the collar and inadvertently unleashed Damon's full capabilities. While Damon merely once moderated Raclaw's abilities via the collar-- he now shared a mental presence with Raclaw including access to all of Raclaw's thoughts, memories, and senses. In stark contrast to Damon's level of access, however, Raclaw himself is unable to access the formally alive entity's memories nor can he completely override Damon. The two currently have a mutual relationship, with Damon both advising Raclaw and maintaining various background tasks for his hosts-- such as the mental links he shared with certain other individuals.
And it was further along this journey that Raclaw would make the choice-- and allow Latnok the Guardian to claim him via his collar. With the new collar claim in place, Latnok would would effectively act as his 'owner' and have command priority over that of Damon -- although the two best friends would not immediately see each other as owner/pet. Latnok would continue to treat him just as he had before and only sparsely acting on the reinforced commands. SOON THEY WOULD SET SAIL AGAIN AND MAYBE FIND OUT MORE... --- Name: Chester Age: 3 (in human years) Species: Beagle Good or evil: Good Appearance: Chester is 1½ feet of your typical beagle features, but now in a sturdy leather collar. (Merged images (c) unknown sources) Personality: Chester is easily excitable and loves shiny things. Weapons: Chester's only "weapons" include the use of his natural CLAWS and TEETH. Elements: Chester is a dog and has no elements, unless you include the cuteness factor. History: Chester was presumily born in and found in a shelter. While visiting Redwater-- Raclaw and Latnok found found him and saved him from his then current owners, who had planned to cook and eat him. Upon letting him stay the night with them in the Easy Eyrie Inn, they and Godfather Sere agreed to officially adopt him and take him with them. Due to a upbringing with a German Shepard, Raclaw is physically able to "speak" with him via dogspeak and the two have a formed a close bond. Chester almost always follows Raclaw and would do anything for his furry friend-- and the friends of his furry friend. He has more recently received an collar of his own choosing courtesy of Latnok-- its green metal accents having reminded him of Raclaw's eyes. --- Name: Risar Age: 39 (in human years) Species: Minotaur Good or evil: Good Appearance: At a little over 7 feet tall, Risar displays your typical Minotaur features-- including a golden nose ring with 1½ links of chain attached to it. Beyond that-- he wears leather armor similar to, but not exactly like that of gladiator armor. He also wears a belt, which holds several pouches useful for carrying gold and other useful items. Personally: Risar has a blunt personality at times, partly because of his inability to fully speak the common tongue. However, he has a fighting spirit and is not at all unintelligent. Due to his history, he has rather advanced tastebuds for someone of his race and former status-- and can accurately describe the flavor of wines and other fine drinks. Weapons: Two greataxes adorn his back, each weighed in at 8 pounds and sized appropriately for someone of his strength. Elements: n/a History: At birth, Risar was separated from two other brothers (triplets) and sold off to a wealthy buyer. Upon being sold, he was implanted with the prominent golden nose ring that would only become harder to remove (if not impossible) as he developed. After many years of being used as a taste tester, bodyguard, and source of entertainment (read fighter)-- he eventually escaped with help of a merchant ship and eventually found himself being recruited in Redwater. He knows very little of his brothers; only that they were each implanted with a nose ring of different material. One was said to be implanted with a copper nose ring, while the other received a silver nose ring-- each material representing the "quality" and "usefulness" of the livestock. --- Galaxy Dragon |

OOC: Let's do this
Name: Angora Age: 22 (human years) Species: Troll Good or Evil: Good (tries) Appearance: http://photobucket.com/gallery...2LmpwZw==/?ref= Stands only 2'3 feet tall due to a genetic anomaly. Most of her kind are five to seven feet tall. Unlike most of them, she has hair on her head and wears robes made out of blankets by Maverick. Also in her possession a knife that may or may not have poison due to the battle against the White Shadow. The knife was a gift Dex gave to her in the Redwater prison, which she keeps it hidden in a secret pocket and tries not to use it often. Her most used weapon is a wyvern fang that Veris gifted her, converted into a knife that she once carried around her neck but now has in her pocket. Personality: A cranky troll with a hardcore personality, though she's trying to be better despite the constant prejudices from strangers and even people she know. Lacks the bloodlust most of her kind has, and prefers to solve matters peacefully. Can be quite violent and merciless if forced into it however. Can also be selfish, rude and sometimes hostile, but deep inside, she's very noble and kind hearted, even though she tends hide it and bear grudges. Children and certain animals tend to like her. Tends to offend people without realizing it, but is too proud to ask forgiveness. She shows her softest spot to Maverick and Shade, her so far only true friends, and can be kind to small children and those that are in most need. Due to the constant abuse she has faced, especially from the Guardians, she has an obsession with improving her image and have others know her personally to improve her reputation. Weapon: Armor, Sword, Shield (when Neo activates them), wyvern fang turned into a knife a poisonous dagger and magical red orb that helps her magic and can be used as a communicator. Element: Whatever her magic can conjure. History: A former thief that successfully destroyed the Darkmatter that was threatening to end the world. Has the spirit Neo permanently inside her, helping her with her magic and giving her advice on occasion. Has a history at sea, but remembers little about it. She encountered her former crewmate and friend Maverick, with whom she restored her friendship and together with Shade travelled for a while until the dragolet's powers began to grow out of control, which caused them to be imprisoned several times under Aelinon law. Was forced to fight in the Redwater arena, where both she and a Shade survived. Was once kidnapped by the evil dragon Blue, until rescued by Shade. Thanks to Maverick insistence and appeal, they travelled the Enduring Legacy under the Guardian's rules, and now once again, they'll be employees on the giant vessel in another quest to help the dragolet, and where she intends to find the stranger that has communicated with her through the orb. Name: Maverick "Malo" Blakes Age: 29 Species: Human with faun ancestry Good or Evil: Good Appearance: A slender, handsome, muscular young man with reddish brown hair, slightly tan skin and dark brown eyes. Due to his faun heritage, his arms and legs have more hair than a normal human being. He doesn't have goat like legs like some of his ancestors, instead, they are perfectly human shaped. Wears a black shirt with torn sleeves and a small skull in it's chest, dark brown pants, leather boots and a small, gold medallion he keeps hidden under his shirt, which protects him from magic meant to hurt him. He also possesses a hyperspace bag where he can store almost anything no matter the size. He also speaks with a Spanish accent and sometimes uses Spanish words too. Personality: An optimistic, childish man that's easily impressed, and no matter how ugly things get, he always tries his best to look at the positive side. He's aware how dangerous the world can be, he still moves forward. He also likes to see the good in everyone, whether human or otherwise. He loves animals, being half vegetarian, fish being the only meat in his diet, though he tends to be very afraid of large predators. He also attracts women, though he never manages to be in a stable relationship until recently, where he's currently Ilasi's boyfriend. Despite not liking the way he, Shade and Angora are sometimes treated, he is learning to be the most tolerant and intends to amend the mistakes he or his companions made. Weapons: A single metal shield plus a variety of weapons kept in his hyperspace bag that belonged to the mugger that almost killed him in Orcford. He doesn't want to hurt anybody unless given no other choice. Element: n/a History: A former pirate whose father, Captain Armon Blakes, terrorized the sea, stealing every treasure he could find and mercilessly killing anybody who opposed him. He raised the kid with an iron fist, determined to make him as dastard as him. Eight years ago, Maverick met Angora when his father requested a new buccaneer. She pretended to be a deformed goblin. She swapped the deck, washed clothes and prepared the meals. She would also steal treasure and cause mutiny, and Maverick had to defend her. Despite getting into her wrong side and being mistreated, he eventually managed to warm her up, forming a near sibling type of relationship, turning Angora into the moody yet civilized, confrontation hating troll she is today. A year later, she left the crew after getting tired of her job, and months after that, the ship was sunk by a storm, leaving Maverick as the only survivor. Despite reaching land and losing the life he knew, the man recovered and became a traveling merchant, where a reclusive wizard gifted him his special, hyperspace bag as a reward for turning over a new leaf. After finding out about the Guardians and their goal in his travels, it became his dream to become one for a while until learning about their harsh methods and ideals. He travelled for Angora and Shade for a while until their troubles in Aelinon led to the chain of events that forced them into helping the dragolet have better control of his powers and prompting him and his family to be employed on the ship as additional crewmates. His goal now is to help Shade with his powers and temper, and make Angora and now girlfriend Ilasi happy. Other: His faun ancestry takes back more than five hundred years ago, in a time where human conquistadores took faun territory and nearly draw them to extinction until a small group took pity on them and helped the faun fight back, eventually winning the battle and creating a society of their own, having both pure and hybrid offsprings. Maverick's mother was one of such hybrids, while his father Armon was pure human. Name: Dahlia Age: 4 Species: Dirt Buffalo Good or Evil: Good Appearance: Has the hair and form of a musk ox, but the head and horns of a bison. Her fur is a deep dark brown with a very hard skin and bluish black eyes. Personality: A rash and short tempered animal who tends to be vengeful, but can thankfully be controlled by Maverick or when realizing that the situation is out of her control. She is deeply loyal to the faun man, though tends to be very annoyed by him. Finds Angora a minor nuisance, but her loyalty can extend to her as well. She's also very loyal to Ilasi. Has tremendous empathy for others, even if she's afraid of wary of them. She can also have very severe panic when exposed to mayor predators like wyverns or dragons, but can thankfully be controlled by Maverick or sometimes Ilasi when assured. She also expresses herself very quickly and can't think of one thought at a time. Weapons: Horns, hooves and hard skin Element: n/a History: Lost a fight with a matriarch for territory, resulting in her banishment. She found an oasis, where Maverick dominated and tamed her when he found himself in the need of a mount while Angora and Shade were imprisoned in Redwater. He earned her loyalty from then on, refusing his attempts to release her. The dirt buffalo is determined to keep him protected, thinking he's too dumb to survive by his own merits, a nature she now extends to Ilasi as well. She follows the two of them everywhere, no matter how terrified she is.

Name: Dex
Age: 25 (human years) Species: Fox Good or evil: Neutral (more in the good side now) Appearance: Normal looking fox, just bigger (wolf size). Has poisonous fangs (Snake style) which can be clearly seen when he opens his mouth. Personality: Very tricky, always thinking about himself. Most of the time likes to play nice and look weak. When the opportunity comes loves to stab in the back, especially when making deals (loves everything valuable). Never wants to fight head-to-head, because of not having much physical power. Has become much more caring after meeting and falling in love with Sapphire. Weapons: (optional) His only, but a deadly weapon is his poisonous fangs. Those fangs go through almost everything. He can control the poison so that it does not kill, but does make his enemies paralyze and have great pains if he wants/needs to. Elements: (optional) No really elements, but is immune to poisons because of his own poison in his veins. History: Dex was born in normal fox den. As he was young he did end up bitten by poisonous snake. His parrents left him being sure he was going to die. He was found and taken care by old man. The poison did make him grow bigger and have the poison fangs. The man knew there was something odd about the fox, but being an old adventurer he was not sure, was Dex just a new species he had never seen. After the man died Dex started to look after himself. He noticed his poisoneus blood while being in forrests and seeing bloodsucking bugs instatly dying after taking his blood. He made his way back to city life after feeling not at home in forrests. He started to steal food, but also valuables. Once he was almost captured and bite a human who died almost instantly. After that he started to make deals with all kinds of creatures which wanted someone dead or something stole. These days he is taking only very well paid jobs, and knows how to deal with many kinds of situations. Many do not know him well, because of his way to work. But Well know as the poison assassin especially in the underworld of Cities. He attacked the group while working for Shade (when he was controlled). Has become the leader of the group known as guild of assassins. Has slowly started to see errors of his old ways, and has taken more responsibility about others then ever before (especially of the members of the guild). Name: Blue Age : Unknown, but he is pretty young for a dragon Gender: Male Species: Dragon Good or evil: Evil (Not in a special way, but his ways are not suited for anything other.) Appearance: Pretty small for a dragon, dark Blue all over with emerald green eyes. Personality: Simply nasty. He has no soft thoughts with anybody (exept his own order) and could even be said to like killing. Likes to make see others suffer. But he is good at pretending to be nice if needed to. Weapons: He is not a good melee fighter. But can do pretty much anything with water. Especially strong when around a large amount of water. Elements: Water History: Not much is known about him, but he is an assassin and the leader of the brotherhood of assassins. It is thought that he was part of dragons living normally like they did today and had a family. But as soon as he could he did leave them and started to live the way he wants. Has started to make his brotherhood more of an underground army then a faction of assassins after the brotherhood was almost destroyed. The faction is now Simply named brotherhood, because they are not assassins in any special way anymore. They have grown, and if they keep doing that, this kind of private underground army can make some trouble. Name: Sapphire Age : 20 (human years) Species: Fox Gender: Female Good or evil: Neutral (Even more close to good then Dex) Personality: Mostly pretty nice. But has no problem to kill others without pity. Likes to look cool, but likes also to look beutiful. Loves when somebody praises her appereance. Weapons: Her talent (which She was born with) is the fact that She can make anybody unable to move at all if they look at her eyes. She can also choose not to do that when Even if somebody looks at her eyes. History: She was born as a normal fox. But because of somekind of special talent became bigger and smarter. She had to leave her normal fox live because her family thought She was too dangerous, and told her to leave. After that she was a pet for a human family never making any use of her ability. Untill her family was attacked by Blue and the brotherhood. She was trying to fight them and that made Blue interested about her so he took her with him. After sometime Blue managed to make her believe that both her fox and human families where bad for her and the only family that could understand her was the brotherhood. Blue told her about Dex to give her something to feel like her. After that She wanted to become a great assassin like Dex. She tought Dex was a great exampel how great special foxes like them can become. One of the big reasons for Blue to take her in was to make Dex finally feel somebody was like him, he thought that would make Dex leave the League (now the guild) and join the brotherhood. After all that had happen Dex and Sapphire are now working together and Blue is only after the two because he wants to kill them. Is now in a realationship with Dex, and they are both in the guild of assassins. Sapphire is now back at the independent city of Cross North, which has the headquarters of the guild In it.

Name: Huntress
Age: 27 Species: Human Good or evil: Neutral Appearance: Honey colored hair reaching below the knees, usually kept in a ponytail. Emerald green eyes and light skin. Leathered dark brown boots with spikes on their sides and front that can be activated. Heat and cold resistant gloves. Cape with reinforced cotton shirt and necklace in the form of a wolf. Protecting vest behind her shirt. Considered extremely beautiful by many men. Personality: Acts very naive an innocent, but is actually very manipulative. Works only with those who pay best, though she has a code of honor when morale gets the best of her. Would do almost anything for money and riches. Can be ruthless and merciless when crossed. She's very proud but not usually impulsive, ready to back away from a clearly losing battle. What she lacks in strength makes it up for intelligence, stealth, stamina, agility, great reflexes and a killer aim. However, she has a hidden soft spot for children and small, fluffy animals. Her biggest flaw is how arrogant and obsessive she can be with her goals, especially concerning dragons, for whom she has an intense, deep hatred. Weapons: Whip, Crossbow, Katana, Fireproof cape, Boomerang, Curved knife and Shurikens. All small and concealed. Element: N/A History: Lost her home to a rampaging dragon when she was very young. Was adopted by an Aelinonian soilder who taught her everything he knew. Went solo afterwards to help him make money, but when he went to war, it made her train even more, roaming the Aelinonian lands as a successful bounty hunter. Claims herself to do a better job than the Guardians, whom she considers a bunch of overpaid show-offs. Has a hidden fortune somewhere in the land that nobody but her knows about. Works very well with merpeople and wishes she could be one. Has a past with Maverick... Other: She ditched her real name. She's only known for her nickname now.

I was wondering why there were three versions. Didn't realize there was an arbitrary 50-page limit, lol. Oh, and redwes, please correct the "OrionDex". Helen's Fiendish, Spike's Celestial. You have it backwards, and Google Drive is stupidly slow on this laptop so it took forever to check up on. But please fix it.
Name: Helen (modified version of her real name, which has two 'l's) Age: 40-ish Species: Fiendish Houndoom Good or evil: Good (barely) Appearance: A Houndoom with batlike or dragonlike wings unusually sharp fangs, and Houndoominite on a collar she wears. Her wings are enough to allow short flights, though she's clumsy in the air. Personality: Vicious and bad-tempered, even those she's fond of should be careful around her, as she can go from cheerful to enraged in a heartbeat. The only being she truly loves besides herself is Spike. Despite her fiendish origins, she hates demons and other evil creatures. Oddly enough, when happy, she's quite affectionate. Weapons: Fangs, fiery breath, other Houndoom stuff. Elements: Fire and darkness, obviously. History: Helen was born to a Houndoom mother, and never knew her father. Since the only evidence of her heritage is her fiendish looks, it was guessed her father was a fiend of some sorts. As a child, she ran away from home, upset to the point of snapping by the cold way everyone treated her. After returning, a change for the worse was noted, as her moods were more violently unstable then ever, and some claimed she met a demonic patron who unlocked her true power. She was soon banished for her near-constant temper flare-ups. Name: Spike Age: 30s Species: Celestial Togekiss Good or evil: Absolute pure GOOD Appearance: A Togekiss with a halo and a glow like some depictions of angels. Personality: Extremely gentle and forgiving, he's too kind for his own safety. He's deeply in love with Helen, and is the only known being who can soothe her intense, barely-controlled rage. Only cruelty can elicit true anger from him. Weapons: Magic, almost exclusively. Elements: Light and air, of course. History: Like Helen, Spike only knows his mother, not his father. Unlike Helen, his angelic looks resulted in kind treatment towards him. While they only met recently, they were actually born in the same village. Name: Star N30Noctus Age: Still vaguely young Species: Zoroark Good or evil: Good Appearance: A youthful Zoroark with a nasty scar over his right eye, and a pair of headphones he never removes. Wears a ceremonial robe to show his rank as King of the Noctus Woods. Personality: While still harsh and sarcastic, Star has lightened considerably, having dealt with much of the horror he's been through. Weapons: Natural weapons and a buttload of cybernetic upgrades, among his gadgets and ninja weaponry Elements: Darkness, technology History: A wanderer throughout time and space, Star has entered this world before. After dealing with Nightmare back home, he oversaw repairs on the village and then left Kira and Stone in charge of protecting it, while Shade, who he freed from Nightmare's influence, takes care of the newly re-founded Noctus Clan. He came to this world to check back up on old friends. Name: Darkheart Age: I literally don't remember LOL Species: Dragon Good or evil: Formerly Evil, now Good Appearance: A pitch-black dragon with white skull markings on her forehead, chest, and front paws. Personality: Cynical and moody as ever, she's still comparable to a moody teenager. Weapons: Usual dragon weaponry. Elements: Darkness History: Since leaving the group, Darkheart has been working on building a proper life for herself. Nothing special yet, but she's doing okay.

As Laszur have shade this news he looked down in sadness. He never ment for this to happen. He never wanted harm. “I’m....im sorry to hear this news.” He tryed to hide his sadness but tears were bringing themselves up. One eventually fell to the deck of the ship. He hid his face with a wing not wanting anyone to see him greaving. “This is my fault.....everything. I never wanted this to happen.....”

Spike stopped chanting his spells entirely as a blue glow indicated that Helen's Mega Evolution had ended. Meaning, she no longer had the strength to fight. It seemed, somehow, that the world went silent except for the forlorn scream from Spike. "HELEN!!!" It even echoed, as his eyes watered slightly. Then his expression changed. "You... YOU..." He started moving, outright attacking with his full force for the first time in the entire fight. No more enchantments. No more praying. No mercy. He'd had more than enough of this, and would inflict the closest thing to divine retribution he possibly could.
Helen, meanwhile, struggled at the edge of life. Could it be... I'll actually... DIE here? If so, I'm still not going down without a fight. Her eyes closed as she focused all her energy on survival. All she needed was a single breath of air. That's all she needed. But where? Water surrounded her, playing off her greatest phobia: Drowning. She could feel herself fading fast, but stubbornly clung to life. She'd never been one to just GIVE UP. Star paused briefly in his assault. His expression became somber. "All right. That's IT. I've seen enough." He actually pulled back and tapped a button on his headphones. A lens popped out, with a built-in HUD (Heads-Up Display). He set it to scan his view for any life signs not visible to the naked eye. "Let's see if THIS reveals you to me..." He wasn't sure, but he hoped it could find the accursed mastermind. If he couldn't find it, they could ALL die... Darkheart shouted at Star "What are you doing?! Help us kill these THINGS!" She was starting to tire. Flying all the way here, only to immediately join the fight? She hoped her magic would last long enough.

Latnok's words echoed in his head as he focused his mental energy-- and Raclaw's eyes turned a solid white. It was clear that he was going into deeper state of telepathy. "Star-- focus your telescope where I tell you.," his voice sounded in the Anthro fox's head as well as the other 'friendly' combatants. "It's-- it's blocking me, but I believe.. I believe..," he started to say again physically turning his head and sending an 'image' to the slightly familiar Zoroark. "OVER THERE!," his voice exclaimed as eventually picked up on the invisible presence. And as he did his thing, some projectiles began to fly at the now vulnerable/exposed Raclaw. With Star's telescope, his telepathy, and Latnok's bell-- they would have their target. |

Star looked in the given direction. The HUD went nuts, and he called to Latnok "THERE!" He showed the creature's location with illusory wisps of flame. Now all they had to do was reveal it, and then... ATTACK! Star grinned mischievously. That creature likely didn't realize the cost of attacking his allies, even when he wasn't actually present. He had developed a knack for showing up at exactly the right time. He made a mental note to correct Raclaw's calling his HUD a 'telescope'. Telescopes were FAR less sophisticated.
Helen bubbled just a little more. Spike approached, and tried to dive in to drag her out. His glare would have given Star pause, and was directed at every creature who got in his way. Darkheart looked at Star, and finally got what he intended. "Of course! Cut off the head..." Star finished. "And the body will die! The soldiers are little threat without a leader!"

As the once orange sky was exchanging it's exterior for a dark, starry one, Angora watched from the horizon how the giant beast moved forward, like a mountain with extremities. As the figure grew, so did the large amount of cargo and passengers on his back. Angora figured the creature, along with his comrades were going to be as overworked as ever with the possible threat of the Silvianesti constantly pursuing their providers. She knew that tomorrow, the training will start for all the citizens, which in part made her glad she would be away from the likely chaotic city in that time. As the behemoth approached, it didn't seem to notice her one bit in all of this time, which didn't surprise her given she was so tiny and there were other soldiers around. The animal probably wasn't going to waste his time looking at every little thing around. It would practically be like a human trying to distinguish an ant from the others.
It wasn't until it was close enough that the beastly being finally seemed to notice her. Those eyes were as if they were penetrating her very soul. They never stopped being impressive with such a gargantuan size. Angora still wondered, how was it possible for such monsters to exist? It almost made her want to turn around and just leave, but it would be stupid to depart just like that. The behemoth has already seen her, and she already was this far, so there was no point in just leaving it all behind. As she waited for the large animal to be fed and free from his cargo, Angora did a friendly yet nervous hand wave to him in greeting, wanting to make a good impression and pretend she wasn't afraid. This wasn't the first time she has seen that behemoth outside of the arena, but it was the first time she was going to visit him without having any gifts to offer him. She only hoped he wouldn't take offense to that. One gift was better than nothing.

With the mastermind's location pinpointed, Latnok dropped his spear to grab his bow and arrow. As quickly as he could he nocked an arrow, charging it with an explosion spell before shooting it at the marked location.
The creature dodged - however, the arrow detonated when it drew near. The mastermind was revealed, a blob of floating flesh covered in eyes and sensory appendages, injured from the explosion. The result dropped its concentration, causing the water around Helen to spill to the ground. With Helen out of her transformation, Latnok pulled out his resonating chime. Focusing, he gave it a quick ring - and a pleasant, soothing ringing came out. The soldiers were forced to return to the original form of their carapace, sturdy but not invulnerable to anything in particular. Leoquin took advantage of the opportunity to impale an advancing soldier in one of its many eyes. The creature writhed for a few moments before succumbing to the blow and falling. After a few sweeps, Gregor's eyes would eventually fixate on one thing as he lowered himself to facilitate the unloading of personnel and goods - Angora. He still recognized the troll, if only barely - trolls in that size weren't frequent. "SO THE CREATURE RETURNS," it bellowed. "WHAT DOES IT WANT FROM US TODAY?" His booming voice was bored, rather than annoyed.

Angora took a little step backwards, confusing the behemoth's booming voice and sentence with annoyance. She had to swallow various times before having voice of her own.
"Easy there. I just came by to see how you were... you know... to just... say hello. I know you're probably overworked lately with what's happening between Aelinon and the Silvia... something. Still can't get the name right..." Angora stammered in a loud voice, for some reason finding the word hard to pronunciate. But that wasn't important and continued. "Anyway... I heard you were going to return today... and well... didn't want to miss this opportunity. Just... wishing you... good luck..." Angora finished, wanting to say something else, but that was the best she could do in all her nervousness. She used a voice long enough to be heard, though it just added to her jumpiness. She didn't know what was going on inside that humongous head of is, though Angora imagined it must've been strange, maybe even bizzare for that behemoth to see how she, someone he was still probably considering a meal, would so openly visit him for a second time to do something as simple as talk. She was afraid on how his reaction would be, but given how she wasn't a criminal anymore, she believed the behemoth wouldn't harm her, especially with so many soldiers around.

Dex was trying to think. He was waiting Huntress trying somekind of trick against him, but now it looked like She was saying he was the one doing the trick. After some time he said ”If you calm down we can take a look where we are now. So both of us think that other has done something they have not, if we think both of us are telling the truth. I can tell you that my information came from Blue. He contacted me after our first meeting and told me about your meeting with the king.... He also told me other things which all have been True. I dont know How he got this information. But my spies have not been even close to you. So if we are calm now you could tell me what you think about the situation. Then we can tell our sides of the story and think do we trust eachother or not. I say to you now, that I would like much more to trust you then Blue. After all he has killed many of my allies in the past, and I would not like to think he has anything else in mind this time” Dex said hoping that Huntress would now calm and start to think the situation with him...... if She was telling the truth it would be very usefull and if not it would be easier to read in a clear conversation. But Dex did not tell her about the deal Blues men where offered to him, atleast that was a possibility if things started to go to the wrong way.

Huntress' vein on her neck was beginning to show. She was quite furious and it showed.
"You... you talked to him? To Blue?" she asked in an eerily calm voice, to hide the fact that she was inches away of strangling the little fox, but she wanted to keep her lady demeanor, especially in such a public places. She had to inhale several times to calm herself enough to process the rest of Dex's sentences. While she really wanted the other half of Dex's pay, this was one of the rare cases where she decided it was best to let her greed aside for now, especially since her life was most likely on the line by now. "Fine then. Let's take a look at this from another angle. Let's just say for a minute I believe you're telling the truth. What then? What do you think is going on, hmm? You think those three men that visited me are just after you? Cause you know, if that was reall the case, then why didn't this Blue just captured you when he had the chance?" Huntress asked, unsure on what to think. She was usually good at figuring out certain scenarios, but this situation was such a mix up that the truth was eluding her. And then there was the wolf man? Who was he really working for? Was it possible that Dex was really working for Blue and the three men told her the truth? But if Dex was really working for the water dragon, why bother telling her that he spoke to him? It was too much to process...

Spike gently lifted Helen's head. "Helen? Helen!? Say something!" The Houndoom managed to cough up water, though she wasn't really conscious. Spike lowered his head, struggling to hold back tears. "Helen? I can't lose you..." He uselessly pressed his soft, feathery wings on her chest, attempting CPR without hands.
Star reached into his mane and pulled out six kunai, one on each claw. "Let's finish this!" He threw all six with pinpoint accuracy, each one directed at a different isuid. One headed for the mastermind. Darkheart eagerly attacked all that she could. "We're winning! WE'RE-" She saw Spike supporting what, for all she knew, was a corpse. Did... Did we lose one? Helen continued coughing up water, but she was already teetering on the edge of death. I... Won't... Die... I... WON'T... DIE... I... WON'T... DIE... Underneath it all she knew that, if she didn't get help, she definitely WOULD die. But she was as contrary as ever, and refused to accept it. She would try and fight the Grim Reaper himself if she had to...

EDIT: darknessdawn, you really have a habit of posting right before me. Unfortunately, I won't have a response until my next break.
Gregor did nothing but stare at Angora for several moments. "...HELLO," he finally spoke. "WHAT DOES THE CREATURE WANT FROM US? WE WORK HARD - AND WE EAT MUCH. WE ARE SATISFIED. WE ARE PREPARED TO PULVERIZE THOSE WHO OPPOSE US. THE CREATURE'S CONCERN IS NOTED, IF MISPLACED." The behemoth moved little as the machinery to unload him was finally being brought over. Ilasi waited around a while, coming with Maverick as he attended several stalls. She didn't know exactly what he was looking for - but she was sure he would find it. She was still furious with her parents - especially her father - for the most unpleasant experience she had. "Well... there are still the caves to visit," she said. "The galuds become a lot more active once the sun goes down." The underground was a place she had been to several times - despite their rough appearance, the galuds were generally kind if they didn't have a reason to dislike you. Laszur looked at Shade's attempts to conceal his sorrow. "There's no helping it now," he said, somewhat frustrated. "You have a mission now. We will put every effort - within reason - to see you succeed. Whether you eventually redeem yourself or not, you will do what you're told as long as you are our prisoner."

For a while, Maverick wasn't paying attention to Ilasi, being both distracted and fascinated by the enormous variety of stands. As to be expected, he had already purchased several things, including a necklace with a shark tooth that he loved, and a golden pearl for Ilasi (though he didn't tell her it was for her), still fresh in it's clam. He also bought a jewelery box made out of sand and seashells, and a t-shirt with what looked like a kraken in the front. Finally, he reached a stand that sold all kinds of watches, precisely what he was looking for from the very beginning. It was all so pretty, and he couldn't decide whether to buy a wristwatch or a pocket watch. But as he observed the ticking trinkets, it was at that moment that he finally decided to pay attention to Ilasi.
"Everything alright sweetie? You've been awfully quiet back there." Maverick asked, though having a pretty good idea what was upsetting her so much. She had been so silent that if Maverick hadn't turned to look at her, he would've believed she left. Quote: A Guy
Angora was rather frustrated by the creature's response. She was expecting the behemoth to notice how she was trying to be friendly, not give him a chance to display his irritating cockiness. "I don't want anything from you. I'm just trying to be polite. Please, I just... want to be friendly." Angora stated in the same loud voice so the behemoth could hear her, lowering her head to stretch her aching neck. It was quite painful to look up at him. Despite her disappointment, she wasn't being rude to him, and hid her frustration. She wasn't trying to befriend Gregor, she just wanted him to have a different opinion of her, though at this point, she believed it would be impossible. She suspected the beast hated her for being pardoned in the arena and thus escaping him, but even so, she was determined to at least try to demonstrate she was willing to face him again and have decent conversations with him, not like a friend, but perhaps as an acquaintance.

"Helen?! Latnok-- we have to do something!," Raclaw said returning to his normal telepathic state and soon noticing the downed Houndoom. "Hang in there... we're coming. We're coming.," he said as he rushed over to the dog Pokémon and rolled Helen over into a position slightly more suitable for CPR. He began to attempt CPR himself, pushing down as hard as he could with his canine-like paws. "Come on.. you can do it! You can make it through this!," he encouraged although Helen wouldn't currently be able to hear him. Latnok presumably wouldn't be too far behind and if all else failed-- Raclaw knew he at least had something to 'jolt' someone awake. Chester ran over alongside Raclaw, but knew that his little paws would be help in the task.

OOC: Still waiting on Latnok, but have a post in the meantime. Until he responds, though, Star and Darkheart are in limbo.
Spike cried out in frustration. "Helen! Oh, if you pass on, I can't bring you back! Please, don't go!" Unbeknownst to the others, Helen was all-too aware of their words. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. And now I'm spouting stuff Spike likes to say. If I was able, I'd wring his NECK! Suddenly, though, for once she felt an absolute calm. She wasn't angry, just determined. I refuse to die! She couldn't die yet! There was so much left, so much she'd never been willing to admit. And besides... What lay on the other side? Would her fiendish heritage bind her soul to... THAT place... Forever, despite her own actions? Besides, there was a fight to finish.

"Raclaw! We still have to win the fight!" Latnok urged. Indeed - one of the top priorities to seeing to the safety of a casualty was ending the fight through any means possible to facilitate aid and prevent further injury.
With the mastermind regaining its composure, the ishiuds were once again coordinated. The whistlers and soldiers were seemingly struck by the kunai - once of the whistlers fell, if only temporarily, though the armor of the soldiers, despite not being adaptable, was still enough to withstand the projectiles. The mastermind itself, with its sharp senses, was able to quickly avoid it. Soldiers and whistlers who were previously targeting Helen now aimed their attention at Star, who the mastermind deemed to be the greatest threat to itself, and thus the battle effort. One soldier began to spit out a sticky slime at Star in an effort to slow him down, as another closed in to bite him with its mandibles while a whistler began shooting several envenomed projectiles at him. A third soldier was on its way, but Leoquin intercepted it. Killing this soldier would not be as easy, however, with the mastermind alive and lending the soldier its senses. Ilasi was visibly startled at Maverick's question - she had become so engrossed in her own thoughts that outside input was completely unexpected. "Oh, I'm... I'm fine," she said. "Just still thinking about the meeting. They haven't changed a bit. I can't believe that. You would think that they would be able to see that, living on my own for so long, I'm not the failure they make me out to be." Ilasi let out another frustrated sigh. "Well, nothing to be done about it now but move on and forget this ever happened. Have you gotten everything you needed? Or are you looking to say goodbye to Gria one last time before leaving...?" Gregor shifted his head slightly, and his tone changed to a questioning tone. "FRIENDLY... WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND. WHY DOES THIS CREATURE SEEK TO BE FRIENDS WITH A CREATURE THEY FEAR? A CREATURE WHICH HAS ATTEMPTED TO EAT THEM? THE CREATURE SHOULD EXPLAIN ITSELF."Gregor simply laid down patiently as the personnel continued to unload him, seemingly oblivious to the conversation between the two.

Angora understood the behemoth's question perfectly. Just as she imagined, he was confused as to why she was doing this. While she wanted to remain truthful, she decided not to mention about her quest to improve her image, fearing he might misinterpret her.
"I just think that we should... you know, trying to get to know each other just a little bit. I know we fought in the arena before, but that doesn't mean we have to be enemies. I... I guess you're still upset you couldn't... have me, so I want to make it up to you somehow. I do respect a great opponent, and you are quite impressive to look at, so... I wanted to take this chance to meet you again." Angora explained meekly, her ears and hands trembling, demonstrating that she was indeed still afraid of his kind. She didn't like talking to the Gregor with so many people around, but the soldiers seemed to be too focused on other things or simply minding their own business to notice, so this was, in a way, a private conversation. She still believed the behemoth wanted to eat her, so if she could just get him to know her better, perhaps he would see her as something more than a tiny meal. That would at least be some progress, especially in terms of her fear. Quote: A Guy
"Gria? Oh no no, let her be. The'll be other times for a visit." Maverick replied nervously, not wanting to see that space invading mermaid again and get Ilasi all jealous again. He quickly changed to subject to her parents to avoid talking about her. "You parents... well, you know parents. They can be a certain way. And you can't blame them for worrying in regards to me. They just want you to be loved and well taken care of. They may not think much of me for now, but this is barely the first day. We have plenty of time to convince their expectation, or maybe even change them if you think they're exaggerating. In fact..." Maverick started to say, taking from his pocket the golden pearl, clam and all. "Look, this is for you Ilasi. Right in it's natural state. This will make a beautiful collar... or wait, maybe it'll look better as a ring. Or we could just leave it like this? What do you think?" he asked as he extended his arm to give the clam and pearl to Ilasi, certain she would love it. Pearls were quite expensive, especially in such color, but it was worth it if it meant pleasing his own girlfriend. Although Maverick knew he had to cool it down with the money or he might end up using Angora's own earnings.

It seemed that Star took the blows without trying to dodge. A puff of smoke and suddenly it was revealed they'd hit a log instead. Where the log came from, and when Star switched himself with it, were questions he was unlikely to answer. "All righty you... Evil... Bug... Things. Ready to meet your maker?" He leaped from a tree in a whirling ball of blades and death. If it connected, the mastermind would be turned into a gory pile of shredded meat. If not... Well, Star had other tricks up his nonexistent sleeve as well.
Darkheart tried to restrain the mastermind, but her shadow wouldn't reach. She was running low. "I... I'm getting tired. C'MON STAR! HIT IT!"

”Yea I did. There was not much of a choise..... look now we are leaders of two different factions and our factions have been enemys since a long time ago. Even if I dont like it the chance of making his brotherhood end pointless killing of my factions members is something I had to atleast look at. The brotherhood now days is more of an underground army then a guild. And even if my guild is strong we are not fighters of big wars.... Thats Why somekind of agreement would be could for us.” Dex said giving more information then he wanted to..... but if that would be the prise of not making new enemies so be it.
After little break he continued ”What i am thinking now has three in it. First is that he might again want me to work with him, he has been after me for that for a long time. Second is that he might want something with my faction, which ofcourse means thatbhe has to get closer to me in someway or another. And the last part is..... he might in fact be after you. You said you are after him, and if his spy network is able to know you have seen the king, he might know that as Well. And then there is the chance he is after all of those things at once...... Now then Why should I trust you? Big part of my effective working is because of I am not easy to know about .... a fox making a crime? Sounds stupid right? And thats Why it is so easy to get away from the trouble when I need it. If you have a somekind of friendship with the king, Why should I trust that my secret is safe with you?” Dex said (with a voice that clearly was saying ”Thats my some of my game, now tell Some of yours”)

Gregor lowered his down as close as he could to Angora's height. "WE BEAR NO ILL WILL TOWARD THE CREATURE. THE AELINON KING DEMANDED WE SPARE YOU, AND WE OBLIGE. ONE SMALL CREATURE OUT OF COUNTLESS OTHERS WE HAVE FEASTED ON IS INSIGNIFICANT. MEANINGLESS TO EAT YOU. SUCH AN ACT WOULD DISPLEASE THE KING. NOT WORTH A TINY MORSEL.
"WE ARE KNOWN AS GREGOR. BY OUR RECOLLECTION, WE HAVE EXISTED FOR APPROXIMATELY ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY SEASON CYCLES - OR YEARS, AS YOU CREATURES CALL THEM. OUR STORY IS WHAT YOU CREATURES WOULD CALL 'SIMPLE'. WE WERE BORN. WE FEASTED. WE GREW. WE FOUGHT. WE ARE HERE TODAY, AND WE CONTINUE TO SURVIVE." Gregor paused without warning, clearly expecting some sort of response. Leoquin, despite his preoccupation, was actually keeping track of what was happeing. As he engaged the soldier ,he saw the others close in on the mastermind. Latnok, being mentally linked with Raclaw, was able to identify his intent - temporarily shoving the whistler he was fighting to the side to telekinetically pull his bow, launching an arrow at the mastermind, as Leoquin threw a javelin. The creature was barely able to predict Raclaw's own attacks, condensing water to block the fire. He could not, however, predict Star as easily - for some reason, the creature was difficult to assess telepathically. Though its extremely sharp senses allowed it to react quickly, it wouldn't be before it lost an eye to the attack. Its concentration thoroughly disrupted, it soon took an arrow from Latnok - which connected with a good chunk of flesh, though Latnok hadn't charged it on account of needing to launch the projectile almost instantly. A it was dazed, it was finally skewered by a throw of Leoquin's javelin - pinning it to a tree. It remained there dormantly, as the remaining ishiuds lost their coordination and quick reactions. It would only be a mop-up job from there.

Star landed clumsily, on account of having accidentally tied himself up in his own cybernetic arms. "Agh! Aww, CRUD!" A little struggling, and he was free. He wasn't hurt, except a mildly bruised ego due to his own clumsiness, and managed a grin. It looked less predatory than what Latnok and Raclaw would remember, and actually looked friendly, in a mischievous sort of way.
Darkheart sighed in relief and exasperation at Star. "Oh, you IMBECILE... How do you tangle yourself in your own limbs?!" Spike, however, was more worried about Helen. "Helen! Say something, do ANYTHING! Prove you're not dead!" His tone was desperate pleading.

Angora lowered her ears in great disappointment, not receiving the reply she was hoping for. She was expecting the behemoth to recognize some of the bravery, or at least the determination she had in reaching him out despite their rocky first meeting. Instead, all she got was the beast talking more about himself and the king, and once again showing off his might. When he fell silent and kept glancing at her, it was clear that he was expecting for a reply. If he had wanted her to leave, he would've said so.
"That is... impressive. I know. You're powerful. You're mighty. I know that very well." Angora said rather indifferently but politely, still in the same loud voice but clearly now with a sense of melancholy. Still, she hoped the comment would feed the behemoth's overwhelming ego enough for him to be pleased and at the same time letting him know she understood his message. However, Angora wasn't done talking. Since she wanted to show Gregor she was willing to be honest with him, she expressed the one thing that bothered her. "Ok... I get that you won't hurt me. I know that. But... it's just to please the king, isn't it? You'd eat me if he ever gave permission, huh?" Angora commented gloomily, feeling very stupid for asking such an obvious question. The behemoth's allegiance with the king was more than obvious, and she didn't matter. Gregor's comment was really disappointing. While she may be insignificant to him as a meal, he made it clear that he didn't devour ONLY because the king said so, nothing else. She was deeply hoping that his desire of not hurting her was because he somewhat admired her, not only for the king's sake. But now she knew the truth. While it was very disappointing, it didn't surprise Angora one bit, though the revelation still didn't make her feel any less sad. Quote: cyndego
Huntress closed her eyes to process everything Dex was saying. Clearly her friendship with the king annoyed him, and she couldn't even begin to imagine what a criminal this fox was if he was so concerned about the monarch. Nevertheless, Huntress wasn't interested in accusing him of anything, at least since it wasn't in her best interest, and she wanted to make sure he knew that. "My ties with king Seraos bothering you so much? Are you such a lowlife criminal that you worry about him? I already told you before fox, I didn't tell the king anything, and I don't intend to! All he knows about you is that you are an acquaintance of mine, nothing more, nothing less. Besides, he's already busy enough with the threat of a war. A rarely get to see him now, but of course, you choose to believe Blue above me, no? Listen, I don't care if he lied, or if it was his spy that lied! The fact still remains is that you are choosing his word above mine! Though you know what? I don't care if you trust me! I already tell you the truth! And yet you choose to take a beastly dragon's word over mine!" Huntress accused furiously, not making a tiny bit of attempt to hide her passionate hatred for dragons. She was so angry with Dex, she already wanted to leave him behind before her hands surrounded his neck. "But you know what? So be it! You can forget about the other half of the payment! I can't help anyone who doesn't trust me or stabs me in the back! I won't help you with anything anymore! I won't deliver you to those men either, or anyone else. I'm done doing everyone's dirty job! If they want you, whoever wants you, they can just do the work themselves! My only goal is to find that dragon! He's after me, you say? If that's the truth, then the next time he contacts you, tell him to find me himself and to stop hiding in some disgusting puddle like a coward!" Huntress said furiously, sick of being in a wild goose chase. Blue was clearly playing everybody like chess in this scenario, and with Aelinon possibly going to war in the near future, the last thing they needed was a dragon of his abilities interfering with their victory. Huntress knew dragons of all kind were opportunistic, and if it was in Blue's best interest to ally with the Silvianesti, Huntress knew he would do it in a blink. She wanted to prevent that no matter what.

Star shifted himself, and resumed his assault on the creatures. "DIE! DIE! DIE!" He commented "It's a lot easier when they aren't defending as well as before!" Darkheart slashed a bit at the foes, her magic exhausted. She was panting, but cheered up a bit. "Yeah, you're right, Star."

OOC: A quote from the post I revealed them in: 'Helen launched another fireball, while panels in Star's back opened to reveal mechanical limbs. "Not finished with the testing phase yet, but considering the circumstances, a field test will do.' The tentacle-like limbs, four in total, shifted, revealing weapons hidden within." The reason they're not mentioned in the Appearance section is because they withdraw into his body, and the panels hiding the compartments are subtly hidden, partly behind his mane. At this point, most of Star's body is mechanical. If you tore a hole in his stomach, sparks would fly out. His head and heart remain vulnerable, and targeting them is perhaps the only way to permanently stop him.
Star started showing off his acrobatic ability. Backflips, cartwheels, anything involving spinning. "Take this, and this, and this, and that." He was enjoying himself. Darkheart kept getting mildly distracted by Spike's desperate cries for someone to help Helen.

As a side note, I see "catiprise" and keep wanting to read it as "Caterpies". LOL. Anyway, should we just... Keep going without A Guy? I guess they're busy or something.
Star sighed as the last foes dropped. "Better. Much bett-" He shivered and retracted his mechanical limbs, holding his hair out of the way of the closing panels. "B-b-blast it... I need to do maintenance again... I need to field test BEFORE getting into a rigorous brawl like that." He noticed Raclaw's rush to help and followed, grabbing his cloak on the way and putting it on. He looked Helen over and looked worried. "She won't make it unless she gets help soon." Like many Zoroark, he had a habit of storing things in his mane, and he started rummaging through it. "Lessee here... Max Repel... Full Restore... Potion? Why do I even have one of these? Um..." He started going pale. "I, uh... Seem to have forgotten anything that can revive someone who's hurt THIS badly." Darkheart groaned. "Oh, no... What happened to how impossibly prepared you used to be?" Star shrugged. "Well, I don't know... But now's not the time to argue." He gently nudged Raclaw. "Move. I've got something that might shock her awake, literally." He was going to try electricity.

Raclaw nodded and moved to let Star do their thing-- motioning for Chester to do the same. 'And if that fails-- there's always the alternative.' he thought with a slight shudder. He would much prefer that Star's solution work rather having to resort to his own *electric* solution. Shocking yourself was never ideal, even if it did sometimes produce favorable results. As Star attempted his work, the familiar Fur Dragon retracted his tail spikes and reverted the tail artifact back to its normal 'tail band' form. The tail band, tail harness ring, and green gem were three clear new additions compared to how he had once looked. |

OOC: Yeah, I know. I'll try to remember that.
Star allowed some of the electricity coursing through his cybernetics to build up, then brought his arms down on Helen, discharging it into her, with the same results as successful use of a defibrillator. Helen's body jolted unnervingly, but a sudden cough and shudder indicated it had worked. Star, however, suddenly looked tired. He made a weird whirring noise and leaned on the closest thing handy; in this case, Raclaw. "Ugh... Note to self: Improve power output." He'd burned off all his spare energy, and was currently at the point where he needed to rest or another fight would drain him entirely. His body relaxed, bit by bit, as he allowed nonessential functions to shut down. This resulted in a sleepy, slightly drooping look, as would be seen in an extremely tired person without cybernetics. Such low energy was programmed to signal to his brain that he was tired, as a failsafe against overexertion. Darkheart looked... Confused at Star's method of building electricity. "How the... HOW'D YOU DO THAT?!" Helen managed to open one eye, weakly looking up. She groaned, utterly exhausted but alive. Spike gasped and held her up, gently (if clumsily) supporting her with his wings. "Helen! You're... Okay!" She mumbled what was SUPPOSED to be a retort, but came out as a jumble of sounds that didn't really fit together. "Crsimoky…" Her eyes closed as she fell asleep... And started snoring. Star looked mildly smug. "Good... It worked. She's still exhausted, but alive. Snoring is sometimes from exhaustion, by the way." he told no one in particular.

OOC: In case you were wondering, I was engaged in a popular pastime known as sleep. I share this information on Discord.
Ilasi was still thinking about Maverick's comment pertaining to Gria - though she wouldn't admit it, she couldn't help but feel slight jealousy with other mermaids seemingly getting Maverick's attention. He made no effort to turn her down and didn't even mention his relationship when Ilasi was. And now he mentioned that there would be other times to visit her? All that was forgotten - at least for the moment - when Maverick presented the pearl to Ilasi. She was beside herself with joy that, after all that, Maverick was still thinking of her. "Why, Maverick... you didn't have to!" Ilasi didn't know exactly what to say - she wasn't going to be choosy. Gregar looked at Angora with nothing more than a blank stare. He had been alive long enough to identify the complete lack of enthusiasm in Angora's voice, indicating her annoyance at his comments, and made no attempt to hide his irateness. "THE CREATURE FEELS WE ONLY SEEK TO BRAG? WE KNOW WE ARE POWERFUL. NO VALIDATION IS NEEDED FROM THE CREATURE. DOES THE CREATURE NOT CARE TO LEARN OUR HISTORY? DOES THE CREATURE LIE WHEN IT REQUESTS THAT WE AND IT LEARN MORE ABOUT EACH OTHER? IF THE CREATURE DOES NOT SEEK MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING, THE CREATURE NEED NOT WASTE OUR TIME." Gregor didn't even bother to answer her other question, feeling that a conversation with a creature like her who, to his understanding, was insincere with her intentions, was meaningless. Though several of the ishiuds fell, many of the soldiers retreated by burrowing. Any pursuit attempt on them would be futile. Regardless, the job poster seemed to be satisfied. "Thank you for your contribution," he telepathed to the group. "Your reward will be located in the trunk of the tree I will indicate to you now." With his telepathy, he indicated a tree near the area the group entered the wooded area, with a hole in the trunk. One would be able to reach their hand in there - and would find a sum of gold, rather than scales (the Aelinon currency), and much more than would typically be rewarded for handling a similar-sozed group of many other creatures.

Angora couldn't understand why the behemoth was so upset. Was he honestly simply telling his history and she misinterpreted as bragging?
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry. I was just... trying to give you a compliment. I'm just so bad a those... and... the tone of my voice betrays me when I'm nervous..." Angora explained herself, trying to excuse her misinterpretation. She really wanted to have a decent conversation with the behemoth, but once again, her proneness to misunderstandings made things worse for her. It was like a curse. "Please, I didn't mean anything by it. Sorry for misunderstanding. I... I like talking, but I always mess things up at some point. I don't do it on purpose. But... if you want me to leave, just say so. Please, I don't mean offense to anybody." Angora explained meekly, so angry at herself for screwing things up. Everything seemed to be going so well in the beginning, but her way of always dwelling on the negative even when it didn't exist once again got her in trouble. So much for improving her image. She felt like the last thing she could do was leave Gregor alone if he desired it. Perhaps seeing how she was willing to listen to him and give him his space would correct a tiny bit of her goof off. She was ready to turn around and leave without hesitation if that's what he desired... Quote: A Guy
"I know I didn't have to. I wanted to. Enjoy it. Disfrútalo. Your parents think I can't take care of you, so let me prove them wrong. After seeing the stands, maybe we can go to a restaurant nearby? It'll be cool to see how they are here underwater. And afterwards, well, we can visit the underground if there's still time. Also, you can once again practice spells. And who knows, maybe in the future, I can learn to use other weapons... like a spear maybe? I do despise violence, but I know you sometimes gotta use it to defend yourself and others." Maverick commented, having been nervous about having a girlfriend, but he was slowly opening up to the idea. As he talked, he was internally glad that he managed to drift away the topic about Gria. He admittedly loved attention, but now he knew Ilasi was the jealous type, so he had to be careful about the attention he received.

The behemoth cocked his head slightly at Angora's proposal. "THE CREATURE MAY STAY FOR NOW," he declared, his tone indicating that he was mollified. "IT INTERESTS US. WE HAVE TOLD THE CREATURE OUR STORY. NOW, THE CREATURE WILL TELL US ITS STORY." The behemoth's gaze intensified, as if it were owed something.
Ilasi, with a very pleased smile, trepidatiously accepted the gift from Maverick - her seemingly careful acceptance was a byproduct of her disbelief. "I... Thank you, Maverick..." Ilasi wasn't even sure if she should accept such a gift, but she reassured her that Maverick wasn't just giving her a gift to judge her for accepting them. She thought of all of the ways she could keep it. "For now, we can at least have one of the craftsmen here turn the clam into a locket," Ilasi suggested. "They should have the springs and the expertise to do so. From there... we can decide how to keep the pearl. As for the restaurant, I don't think you'll like the food here much - what we have here is pretty basic cooking and service to satisfy those of us here. All of the better restaurants are on the surface, where they can attract terrestrial clientele." However Maverick wanted to spend the rest of the day, Ilasi was up for it.

Maverick smiled exitedly of the prospect of a locket.

I want to enjoy the sea as much as I can. Spent a lifetime looking at the ocean from above that I now want to enjoy the beautiful below..." Maverick commented giddily, ready to follow Ilasi... when his stomach made quite an audible sound, embarrassing him completely. "Oh... heh, we better hurry up a little..." he said gently with red cheeks, not realizing how hungry he was. It was hard to tell time there, and he couldn't purchase a watch, still not knowing which one he wanted, but now it'll have to wait. Quote: A Guy
Angora's skin color changed almost completely with the last comment. The behemoth... he wanted to know HER story? She had though for certain the beast would've dismissed her after she misunderstood and offended him. "MY story? Mine? But... but... there isn't much to tell, really. I was hated by my own parents, so I ran away from home before they could kill me. Yes, my own family..." she did a brief pause before continuing, clearly haunted by the memory. "Afterwards, it was all about surviving. Hated by my own kind for not growing big enough, hated by the rest of the world for being a troll. What more there is to tell? I only have two friends, but I... I think it's because they feel like they owe me rather than like me..." Angora began to say, having so many doubts and insecurities that she questioned even her friendship with Shade and Maverick. Feeling like she was going to explode in grief and sorrow, she decided not to tell the rest of her life in so much details. She was aware of her own triumphs of the past, like the battle against Darkmatter and the White Shadow, but she doubted the behemoth was going to believe her. There was also the arena, but he knew that already. She continued talking. "Listen, my life was sad and stupid, alright? That's all you need to know. I don't want to bore you with so many details. What else can I do now but... keep surviving in a world where almost everyone hates you..." The little troll concluded, almost finishing the sentence with even those she helped, but she didn't want the behemoth to become too curious. It still eluded her why Gregor would want to know about the life of someone who was probably an insignificant annoyance to him, but maybe because he was just too bored. How many even stopped to talk to him like this? Angora could see the soldiers were almost done with the material unpacking, but even if nobody was still paying attention to their conversation, it still made her uncomfortable.

”He is the king. If he happens to send guards after my faction or after me, Well they will hunt untill they get me. That would make life here much more complicated. Blue told me you did meet the king, ofcourse I could not know Why so little time after our deal. What he told me was True, what you where talking with him was a guess, but in this kind of life you always have to ready for the worse. Now let me go do you see what kind of attention we are getting” Dex shouted getting ready to bite if that was his only option.
Few guild members saw the situation. They where getting closer, but because Dex had told them to stay away unless it was the only way to defend against something. They still stayed away.

Huntress was already sick and tired of this line of questioning. It was clear to her that Dex wasn't believing her, and that he was indeed choosing Blue's word over her.
"If I spoke to the king, it was to warn him about the dragon, not about you! We also discussed about the Silvianesti, but that's another matter. If the king's men are after you, well, you must've done something to upset them, cause I haven't told anyone about you except what I've already told you countless if times! If someone hunts you down is because of you, not because of me! If you're NOT going to help me find this Blue and be just an ungrateful beast, then stay out of my way!" Huntress said roughly, using a low voice to avoid drawing attention but with enough strength to let Dex know how furious she was. She then turned around to leave, ready to leave Dex behind and not do business with him any longer if he wasn't going to help. She didn't lower her guard however. She was ready to defend herself in case Dex dared to attack her from behind. Even though she was walking away, expecting this to be the last time she sees the fox, she was nevertheless open to listen if he happened to change his mind... if such a thing did happen...

Gregor remained in his lowered position, with the personnel around not seeming to care about the conversation - either they were too focused on the job, or found it irrelevant and boring.
"INTERESTING... THE CREATURE WAS EXILED FOR BEING WEAK. YET, THE CREATURE HAS CONTINUED TO SURVIVE AGAINST ALL ODDS, WITH LITTLE ASSISTANCE, DESPITE ITS RELATIVELY SMALL AND WEAK NATURE. THE CREATURE SEEMS TO SHOW RESILIENCE AND ADAPTABILITY - MORE THAN WE INITIALLY PERCEIVED. "WE ARE REMINDED OF SOMETHING BY YOU. YOU SEEM TO US AS CLAY. CRAFTING MATERIAL USED BY HUMANS AND GALUDS. CLAY - IT BEGINS AS SOFT AND EASILY BENT, WITHOUT ANY PURPOSE - IT WILL NOT BREAK, HOWEVER. NOT UNTIL CRAFTING IS COMPLETED AND CLAY IS HARDENED. "YOU MUST MOLD TO FIT THE SITUATION. ADAPT, AND YOU WILL SURVIVE THE POTTER'S WHEEL - READY TO BE GIVEN PURPOSE. WHEN THAT HAPPENS... WILL YOU BE STRONGER THAN CLAY? OR WILL YOU ADAPT? "WE CANNOT RECALL THE LAST TIME WE HAD SPOKEN TO A CREATURE LIKE WE HAVE WITH YOU. IF EVER YOU WISH TO SEE US - YOU MAY COME. WE HAVE TAKEN AN INTEREST IN YOU." As the behemoth finished, it raised its head - as the last of the goods were unloaded. It didn't immediately move away - which would give Angora a chance to give any parting remarks or questions. Ilasi lead the way to one of the craftsmen's shops, stopping to check on the spell keeping Maverick in the bubble. The bubble was secure - which relieved Ilasi, who was suddenly paranoid that Maverick may be seconds away from drowning without her noticing. She had gotten much better at the spell. The merman was currently fashioning various simple tools out of coral. When Ilasi and Maverick came in, he was no doubt surprised. "Welcome! Something tells me that you're not from around these parts," he said jokingly to Maverick. "So what can we do today?" "I would like to see about turning this clam into a locket, please," Ilasi said. She produced and handed the clam to the merman. "Hmm... simple job. Just wait a few minutes and it'll be done." He went back into the shop to search for some small tools.

Dex took few Deep breaths. ”Listen to me now. I dont really know you, where I come from I have no possibility to take any wrong allies. Blue is an enemy, nothing else..... Why he wants to talk and not just attack is a mystery to me Thats not How he usually works. I want to trust you, but I need to be sure about it. I see you take your allies seriously, and I want to be one of them. I have an idea. If we take care of Blue together would that be enough to make sure we can atleast keep Ok ends. I want him down too, but I hope you hate does not blind you. This is not going to be easy, he has a lot of allies. ” Dex walked to the Huntress and gave the rest of her payment ”Thats yours. What happens next is your choise. You can walk away and Thats that. Or you can try to capture Blue with me and after that I know for sure I can trust you and I am sure you will feel the same way.” Dex said

Meanwhile shade awaited an answer from ether of them. But then a question hit him. “Sere? Why, why keep me alive? What purpose besides power do you want me alive for?”

Huntress stopped in her track, trying to process what Dex was saying, and also looking at him deeply to make sure he wasn't lying to him. She took the payment, but only because she didn't want to leave such a large sum of money on the floor and risk a mutiny with the bunch of vultures the black market had. Dex looked like he was telling the truth... but then again, thieves and criminals usually had practice in sounding convincing. She would need some proof of her own.
"Fine then. If you're going to help, then prove it. I already told you the truth. I'm not a soldier or an officer. I have no interest to deliver you to the king or anyone else for that matter. If you're going to help me, then show me. For all I know, you could be working for that beast and planning to betray me by delivering me to him. If you really are who you say you are, you will tell me everything you know about him. Weaknesses, interests, attacks. What do you think his next move will be? But above all... how does he know about me and what does he want?" Huntress asked, wanting to get as much information as she could from the fox. She was calm, but VERY serious with the last question. She wasn't dismissing the possibility of Dex just waiting for the perfect time to give her to Blue. How else would the dragon know about her if not from Dex? Why was he targeting her? As far as she knew, it all started after meeting this black fox, and Huntress couldn't help but blame him for the dragon's current pursuit... Quote: A Guy
Angora got goosebumps when the behemoth got his head up, being enormous even as it was. It still hurt her neck just looking up at him. Has she really accompolished her objective? Was the behemoth really seeing her as someone worth knowing instead of a mere snack? The misunderstanding from earlier wasn't brought up again. It was as if it never happened. The behemoth was remarkably calm now, too calm. Poor nervous Angora didn't know whether to be relieved or uneasy at his now passive demeanor. "I... suppose... I should adapt. Survive, like I've always done. It's not like... I can do much else anyway..." Angora said meekly, still shocked by the behemoth's behavior. When Angora saw the cargo and the passengers all gone from his back, she figured it would only be a matter of time before he either was on the move again or the soldiers came to make her leave. "I... I thank you... for this. For the talk. Yeah. This... this was unexpected, but... quite interesting. I have to leave Redwater for a while starting tomorrow, but I'll be back. If you really want to, I can... visit again... someday." Angora said skeptically, willing to gather the courage visit Gregor once more if he really was that open to her company. It was still strange how he referred to himself in the plural form, but Angora was already getting use to it. Despite the stamerring, the little troll wasn't the trembling, terrified little creature she was when Gregor arrived. She was still shy and nervous, but most of the fear was gone by now, which was indeed some amazing progress. The conversation took far longer than she expected, but it has been very worth it. In all the while they have been underwater, Maverick hadn't been worried about the bubble. He trusted Ilasi, but even if there was a slight chance for the spell to break, he had faith that a nearby merfolk would help him. He chuckled silently at the merman's joke before he left. As they waited, he took this chance to say something very important to Ilasi. "You know... you shouldn't feel jealous about all the attention I get Ilasi. Faun hybrid? Not exactly very common. A little attention is bound to happen. I should know. It's... uncomfortable I know, but it happens." he said gently to her, using a very calm voice to make sure his girlfriend didn't feel offended or embarrased by his suggestion.
