Oh I thought at a glance.

I feel really good at it when someone else is playing and you can judge where they are by the backround music. Also telling them how many more enemies and which ones will be left until the next checkpoint.

When you end up with 99 lives at the end of "Spyro the Dragon".
When you can get a 999 combo in the first few levels of "Dawn of the Dragon".
When you get all of the skill points in "Ripto's Rage" and "Year of the Dragon" without cheating.
When you never lose any lives in "StD, RR, YotD, EtD, or AHT".
When you can finish any Spyro game in 1 day.

I could finish ANB in exactly 7 hours, if my mom let me play that long. I can finish DOTD in 2 hours, though.

you know you're too good at spyro when
-you scare your friends by using the Peircing Siren Scream
-you kill the boss enemies with one hit
-your fire destroys the mana crystals
-you don't even have to use the midair melee attacks on enemies on TEN

You're good at Spyro WHEN...

You can do a barrel roll while driving a go kart that is on Metal Gear RAY that is on the Empire State Building in the rain at night with Malefor shooting poison barbs while hundreds of people host a talent show underneath you and you BEAT THE GUY.
