here it is my next fan-fic!

this is the story when sapphire goes on a quest in search of his father. known as the ''great sapphiren''. along the way he learns about his family's past, and descovers what it means to be a sapphire dragon.

sapphire looked up into the golden sky. wind whipped through his wings. he sighed. i wish i could meet you, father. but...im not quite sure where you are. everyone knows you as the great sapphiren. i...i..just...want to meet you. he thought. ''i want to be like you.'' he said slowly, dipping his head down. garnet raced up to him. ''SAPPHIRE!'' cried garnet. ''what is it garnet?'' asked sapphire. ''sarden wants to see you!'' said garnet in a soft, cheerfull voice. sapphire and garnet's eyes grew wide. ''SAPPHIRE!'' called sarden. the two dragons looked at eachother then both raced over to the temple door. ''hang on!'' said sapphire.

''what is it sarden?'' asked sapphire. ''i couldn't help but overhearing you talking about your father.'' said sarden, as he walked over to him. ''really? do you know where he is?'' asked sapphire impationtly. ''no. but what i do know is that your aunt aliyah, wishes to see you again.'' he smirked. sapphire's eyes widen. ''okay.'' said sapphire as he exstended his wings. ''sapphire, when you leave go search for allies along the way. and i want you two to return safely.'' warned sarden. sapphire and garnet nodded. garnet looked over at sapphire. ''you ready?'' she asked. ''yeah, we will sarden. i promise.'' said sapphire. the two dragons exstended their wings then took to the skies. sapphire knew that only his quest in search of his father...was just beginning....

''DARKUSS!'' echoed a voice. darkuss's eyes beamed opened with a bright white glow. he snarled. ''WHAT IS IT NOW DEMONSHADOW?!?'' he hissed. ''sapphire, is searching for his father...he maybe planning on stopping you!'' panted demonshadow. ''SAPPHIREN!'' cried darkuss as he slammed his large black paw to the ground. ''i remember the day when i fought him!'' remarked darkuss with a small hiss in his voice. ''and i will never forget the day when i murdered his father shirox!'' he snarled. darkuss's eyes began to glow again. he bared his teeth. drool dripped down. ''I WANT HIM DEAD LIKE HIS FATHER SHIROX! ALONG WITH SAPPHIRE AND SAPPHIREN!'' growled darkuss. ''but how are we going to do that?'' asked demnshadow as he slowly approached him nervously. ''easy. i shall kill them with my pro-slaughters.'' chuckled darkuss with a slit smile. ''should i go send them now?'' he asked nervously, as his brown legs began to shake rapidly. ''OF COURSE! GO DEMONSHADOW NOW!!!!!!'' he snarled. ''yes master!'' said demonshadow as he dipped his head then quickly raced out of the room. ''MY PRO-SLAUGHTERS WILL NOT FAIL!!! THOSE D**NED B***ARDS!'' he snarled.

''so why are we visiting your aunt aliyah again?'' asked garnet in a sarcastic voice. ''beacause she knows alot about my father!'' he said. ''aunt aliyah?'' said sapphire as his dark blue eyes targeted her red-orange eyes. ''sapphire?'' she said slowly. sapphire's face slowly changed into a smile. he raced over to her then gave her a tight hug with his wings. ''oh sapphire!'' she laughed. ''aunt aliyah! can you tell me a little bit more abut my father?'' he asked. garnet rolled her eyes. ''he really loves his aunt.'' she whispered. ''oh..alright...'' she smiled. sapphire sat down. garnet walked up to him. ''before he was even known as the great sapphiren, he started off as a omega. soon he ment a beautiful white dragoness named hypna and quickly became allies.'' said aliyah. ''how did he gather all those dragons? and what types were there?'' he asked, swishing his tail. ''well...he gathered them from everywhere...and the types were kai dragons, fear dragons, pariahs, even purple dragons.'' she continued. ''but it wasn't until he found me when i fought the dark dragoness onix, who became darkuss's mate.'' she said as tears rolled down her face. ''he saved my life that day...'' she mumbled. ''and also when we descovered that we were siblings.'' she added. ''you best be going now.'' she said with a slow smile. ''can you take us to him?'' he asked. ''together?'' he added. ''like the old days...?'' she said to herself. she dipped her head down and sighed. sapphire walked up to her. ''well?'' he said softly. ''i really do miss my brother...i really want to see him again.'' she whispered. ''I SHALL GO WITH YOU!''

as the three dragons continued, aliyah scanned the ground. she sighed then she smiled and said, ''i want to show you the place where your father found me.'' said aliyah. ''really? where is it?'' asked sapphire. ''i'll show you.'' she said as they glided down. the earth underneath of them was dry. dust flew through the chilled winds. dead trees rotting in the heat. ''this is the badlands....'' she said slowly. ''the badlands....?'' asked sapphire as his eyes grew wide. ''this is where he found you?'' asked garnet. ''yes...'' said aliyah as tears started to develop. she sighed. ''aunt aliyah...where are you going?'' asked sapphire. ''i'll be right back.'' said aliyah, with sorrow in her voice. she walked up to the lake, gazing into her reflection. her cold tears ran down her face into the lake. suddenly, a blue figure walked up behind her. her eyes grew wide as she gazed into the reflection. ''sapphiren?!'' she said happily. she turned around. it was sapphire. he had tears in his eyes too. ''i miss him too.'' said sapphire with a sigh. ''now sapphire don't you be crying too.'' said aliyah. ''now lets get going, who knows if someone is watching us!'' she hissed. ''good idea!'' said the two of them. sapphire sighed then followed her.

''when can we kill them cy...ronno?'' asked the light gray dragon as druel dripped from his mouth. the burgendy dragon turned around. ''darkuss hired us fro a reason right cyclone...?'' sniggered ronno. ''well yes.'' said cyclon e as his eye puplis grew small, and his eyes grew wide. ''THEN BE QUIET!'' snarled ronno as he narrowed his red eyes at him. cyclone fell backwards from ronno's stare. ''they are close...'' said ronno. ''the sapphire dragon is near...i can sense it.ha! ha!'' said ronno, with a grin that would put fear into any dragon. ''yes but what if he finds us? OR WHAT ABOUT HIS FATHER?!'' said cyclone nervously. ''then we are going to have to find an easier way to kill them....darkuss wants them dead...'' hissed back ronno. ''then why can't he just kill them himself?'' asked cyclone, placing his light gray paw on his head. ''BEACUSE...he wants us to weaken them so he can easily kill them without having them attacking him back. the sapphire dragon is a powerful rare breed. we best be on the look out. and since i am heinous's brother i think it would be quite easy.'' laughed ronno. cyclone got up, walking towards him.

''this is mount litna...'' said aliyah looking over at him. he smiled back. ''its beautiful.'' he said. ''the litnas were dragons who were known as 'the masters of the tail'. their enemies were known as the blood tooths. viscious cannible dragons who lived off of our flesh, and ruled the forset next to the house. their leader's name was...korafang.'' explained aliyah. ''wow. how are they masters?'' asked sapphire. ''their tail are slender but at the same time strong. they can move their tails at high speeds. and they have been training for years.'' replied aliyah, with small grin on her face. sapphire looked up. a large orange dragon looked back at him. sapphire noticed how sturdy his body was, and how slender the tail is. ''are you flame?'' asked sapphire nervously as his eyes grew wide. ''and you must be sapphiren's son. i heard many rumors about you.'' said the large figure. ''how do you know?'' asked sapphire. ''lucky guess. young one.'' laughed flame. ''aliyah? is that you?'' asked flame narrowing his eyes. aliyah turned her head. ''FLAME!'' she said.

how does flame just appear?

you'll find out! sapphiren's name is pronounced, (saph-ir-en)


''how did you do that?'' asked sapphire. ''i learned how to teleport by the ancestors.'' laughed flame. ''do you forgive me flame...?'' asked aliyah. ''of course i do.'' said flame. ''can you teach garnet and i how to do that tail-thingy?'' asked sapphire, slowly approaching him. ''you know i taught your father how to do it. along with his comrades.'' said flame, lowering his head. ''he was a fast learner and good leader.'' added flame, in a horse voice. aliyah smiled at him. ''you've forgot someone.'' said a familiar voice. the shadow crept out of the forest. his purple eyes gazing at them. ''koratooth?'' said aliyah and flame at the same time. ''thats right. i was listening in on the conversation the whole time.'' he chuckled. ''oh and since im the leader my name is now my father's. korafang. but i guess you can still call me that.'' said the black dragon. ''im glad to see that you are no longer cannibles!'' teased flame. ''actually, we still are. just the ones that are against us though. but now we feed off of bears, wolves, deer, any animal that lives up here.'' said koratooth. sapphire gazed at him. ''those eyes. just like sapphiren's.'' whispered koratooth to flame. ''yes. he is his son.'' replied flame. ''his son!'' yowled koratooth. ''yes,'' he added. ''it is true. he is his son.'' chuckled aliyah.

''so when are you going to teach me?'' asked sapphire. ''i was just getting to that.'' said flame. ''i can't wait to rub this in my sister's face!'' laughed garnet. ''well, once i've learned it.'' she added. sapphire smiled at them. ''he looks alot like him,'' said koratooth in amazement. ''and that gaze of his.'' he said. ''well, you go start training him!'' interupted aliyah. ''alright. come. i will show you the ways of the litnas.'' said flame in a soft horse voice. sapphire nodded then trailed behind him. garnet followed. ''now, since you are beginners lets start off with the basics. i'll show you.'' explained flame as he whipped his tail across a old rotton tree. ''nothing happened.'' said sapphire. ''oh really?'' sniggered flame. sapphire leaned over to see the tree. it was sliced in half. ''not bad.'' comlimented garnet. ''thank you. now go use the same attack only much faster and more aggresive.'' hissed flame, as a smile went across his face. sapphire closed his eyes. he turned his body side ways. he opened his eyes then quickly whipped the tree in half. ''WOW!'' cried garnet. ''you are quite a fast learner. just like your father.'' chuckled flame, pelting over to him. ''thanks!'' he said with a smile. ''and i also know that the sapphire dragons are masters of blue fire.'' he added. ''well yes,'' replied sapphire. ''show him!'' cheered garnet. sapphire opened his mouth then let out a burst of blue flames. ''excellent. no other dragon can master it.''

''oh yes! i almost forgot. flame, koratooth are you coming?'' asked aliyah. they both shook their heads. sapphire's eyes glimmered in the light. ''well then, lets get going.'' added flame. later... ''im so glad that sylla is gone.'' said koratooth. ''she was a traitor.'' agreed flame. koratooth snarled. ''she well deserved it!'' hissed koratooth. ''traitor?'' asked sapphire, interfereing the two dragons conversation. ''yes. pravious was sent to go after her...'' he growled. ''who's pravious?'' he asked. ''prvious! he was a pariah from warfang. he is a wise now, and teaches younger dragons. he also tells stories about sapphiren.'' said flame, swishing his swift tail around. ''lets go back to warfang and find him!'' cried sapphire. ''what?'' said all the three of them. garnet giggled. ''i mean like we should go see him! i bet he misses my father!'' retorted sapphire. ''well...maybe your right.'' sighed aliyah. ''lets get going, we can't just stand around forever!'' he hissed back. the group of dragons nodded. sapphire opened his wings wings. garnet scitted over to him. he smiled then they all took off into the sapphire blue sky.

''so where is pravious?'' asked garnet sniffing the sent of meat in the warm air. ''i see your hungry!'' laughed koratooth. ''yeah, i haven't eaten anything in a while. my stomache wont stop growling!'' she giggled. ''who's the giant statue?'' asked sapphire, looking up at it. ''that was the dragon who found warfang, but lets go eat.'' said aliyah. ''um..eh hem.'' coughed koratooth, placing 5 dead wolves infront of them. ''where did you get those?'' asked flame. ''eh..i was bored and i was also hungry.'' said koratooth. sapphire burst into laughter. garnet and aliyah followed after him. koratooth and flame started laughing as well. sapphire wiped a tear off his face with his claw. ''okay, now lets eat.'' he giggled. sapphire began to rip at the wolf's flesh. the fresh kill scent made garnet's mouth water. flame licked the blood off his face. once they were done, they decided to venture forth. sapphire scanned the area. he noticed a strong bulky white figure telling stories to young hatchlings. ''YO GUYS! IS THAT PRAVIOUS?'' asked garnet in a firm voice. ''thats him! he looks so different now!'' gasped aliyah. ''lets go see, he the one who has cracks on the side of his spike and both of his eyes are red.'' described flame as they raced over to see who the mysterious dragon was. sapphire's heart raced as they ran towards him. he panted everytime he took a breath. ''sapphire, are..you..okay?'' panted garnet as she caught up to him. ''yeah..just..runnung out of...breath...'' he smiled back. flame, koratooth, and aliyah pelted up to them. the two dragons stopped in their tracks. ''we're fine.'' panted aliyah, reassureing them. ''good.'' said sapphire taking a deep breath. ''great. now im thirsty.'' grunted garnet. ''i don't suppose you brought anything right?'' teased aliyah. ''no, but lets go see.'' said koratooth, ignoring her.

''and who are they? wait a minute...the rumors...its true! your sapphiren's son!'' said pravious with a sudden jolt. ''yeah. i am,'' giggled sapphire. ''you look exactly like him!'' he chuckled. ''we are going to go search for him!'' he said, with a smile. garnet laughed. ''weren't you the one from the golden army?'' asked garnet, lifting her brow. ''why yes, indeed. and yet of course i gave that up to fight with sapphiren. now i live my life teaching hatchlings the ways of life. i miss those days.'' sighed pravious. ''then are you coming with us?'' asked sapphire. pravious looked up. ''you mean...seeing sapphiren? oh that would be...'' he sparked. ''ro'zan and terron are here. lets go find them too!'' added sapphire. ''im coming with you!'' spat pravious. ''really?'' he asked. ''yes! its time for me to reunite with my friends. sapphire, you'll lead the way. oh and whats your name?'' whispered pravious. ''garnet.'' she said. ''and garnet!'' he chuckled. ''ro'zan and terron here we come!'' giggled sapphire as the group trotted through the large city.

sapphire trotted next to pravious. ''what kind of dragon are you?'' he asked. ''i am a pariah.'' laughed pravious. ''a pariah...?'' said sapphire, with a blank face. ''its a dragon born outside year of the dragon...we are quite rare but those who are born outside are pariahs. we have no wings but can controal minds. my father didn't want me but i found refuge here, when i was young.'' replied pravious. ''aunt aliyah, can you tell me more about sylla?'' he asked. ''i'll exsplain.'' offered koratooth. ''sylla was a blood tooth like me. she was once part of the clan when her father was the leader. my dad killed him before he could say anything. soon korafang, my father became leader of the blood tooths. my father told me that she had an upset look on her face then she quickly left the clan. but when sapphiren and the others were searching for an adidote for pravious she wanted to seek revenge by tricking them into befriending her. she told them that my father was the enemy. but really he just wanted them there so they can join him in journey to stop darkuss. when sapphiren, flame, and kolbolt found the adidote in a lake with a huse next to it, sylla had given them a fake one which caused pravious's paw to heal alot slower. then after that she tricked them into making her one of their allies. when a wildfire sparked up my father left to go get your father like i said before into becoming allies with him. my father then died when he slipped on a branch then fell into it. sylla took aliyah with her and threaten to kill her right infront of sapphiren.'' he exsplained as they were walking. sapphire's eyes grew wide.

''i heard that ro'zan, terron, and deanna are around here. they must be out looking to eat some food.'' laughed aliyah. ''any news about sapphiren yet?'' asked pravious. ''not that i know of.'' she admitted. pravious swiveled his head. ''flame? have you?'' said pravious, with determined eyes. ''no. im afraid not. but he is alive, along with hypna.'' replied flame. ''sapphire? koratooth? what are you doing?'' asked garnet as she walked up to them. ''your not falling asleep on us are you?'' teased garnet. ''no!'' hissed sapphire. ''just kidding!'' he giggled. ''lets go.'' said koratooth as the three dragons caught up to them. ''you nearly scared me!'' puffed aliyah as she took a deep breath. ''we're fine!''said sapphire, swishing his tail. ''is sylla still alive?'' asked garnet, curiously. ''no.'' said aliyah. ''she didn't even deserve to have a life.'' she snarled quietly. ''what did she do to you?'' he asked, lifting his brow. ''she poisoned me. she nearly killed me. but sapphiren manage to take down her small gang of shadow dragons then rescued me. i'll never forgive her for what she has done to us!!!'' she snarled. ''if it wasn't for your father i wouldn't even be here to tell you stories about him!'' she said calmly, then began to giggle. ''so true!'' laughed koratooth. ''i really want to meet him but i just don't know what to say to him....i mean he's great...im not...'' sighed sapphire. ''and why is that?'' she asked, in a soft clear voice. ''well you know...he's done many things...i haven't. i'll never be like him...'' he said, dipping his head. aliyah's red-orange eyes glimmered at sapphire's dark blue eyes. ''sapphire. you will. you have many things that you are good at. there's no shame in that. and i also know that you are his son right? well you should be proud to be the next generation of his kind. you are the second sapphire dragon, be proud of it!'' she assured him. you are the second sapphire dragon, be proud of it! her words echoed in his mind. he smiled back at her. ''thank you, aunt aliyah!'' he said. ''remember that.'' she winked at him. ''and your welcome.'' she added.
