Not everyone wants to be reminded of the SiIvaGunner scare this early man, if that's what you're talking about with the baby video.

Skype sucks, it lags, it glitches in all sorts of ways, it's super unoptimized. But Discord twists my brain in a knot with the messaging because messages decide when they'll appear or not and the call becomes a mess because it feels random for everyone. Dunno if it's just my pc being bad as usual but we had like one call for the metroidvania game project on Discord and immediately went back to Skype.

One time my Skype updated to 7.24 and had a stroke on the same day (Like it would update people who message me to today and groups would disappear), at this point I would much rather get everyone migrated to discord.

For me, Discord runs smoothly and sends and displays messages as soon as they appear. The voice chat is also good from experience. Much better than Skype imo for conversations and ****, plus you can add bots too.

You know, the thing about Skype is that if a group gets too big, you basically have little to no control over it, and it becomes a land of partying too hard, and you can't even assign any moderators in Skype. In Discord, however...you can. I'm currently moderating one server and also run 3 other ones, one of which is linked in my signature.
