i went to my local TRU Today and they have only 3 DK and bowser left kinda low stock sooo i brought Both in my hand
but receipt Said Superchrcrash (crash bandicoot skylanders?)
but anyway i so happy i saved 150 bucks from wasted nintendo starter pack

i do have wii u Game with Dark Donkey kong so im waiting Single Dark Bowser Stelath Elf Sea shadow and Clown Plane (That what i called)

Really? On a Skylanders forum, filled with fans who buy tons of overpriced cheap plastic figures, we're going to start criticizing how someone spends their money now?

I bought enough starters to get the regular and the Dark versions of the Nintendo characters - and I'm still going to buy both of these bundles. Heck, I've been tempted to buy two, one set to store with my Skylanders figures, and one to store with my amiibo figures. :p

OP, buy what you want and don't let other folks tell you how to spend your cash.

These will most likely be 50% off in another month or two based on the recent trend in sales (like the Sky racing pack already reduced to $12.50 on Skylanders Day). If you've waited this long to pick these guys up already, it might not hurt to wait until these guys are 50% off or the glut of starter packs start getting clearanced out.

Those upc numbers must not be right. Toys r us says nothing comes up with those numbers.

probably already mentioned i haven't read though but might not be a bad idea if they probably can pick up a used disc from ebay for a few bucks or wait a year and find it as such in gamestop.
I got it for the PS4 I eventually will get it for the Wii U so I think it's best I get the full Wii U set when it goes to about 30 dollars. But I am thankful I don't need to get the 3DS version this year.

The Superchargers 3DS starter pack had temporarily dipped down to $24 at one point (cheaper than this combo pack). It seems that supplies of the 3DS starter pack at online retailers have almost dried up. I guess they didn't produce too many of them. It'll be interesting to see how these combo packs sell. The prospect of selling these to all those NIB (new in box) Amiibo collectors must have been too tempting to resist for Activision. Maybe these will be released in limited numbers like the light and dark expansion packs which came out at pretty much the same time last year.

That's been unconfirmed yet. It's the only website with them. For all we know they could just be thinking that they're getting single version or they're just trying mess with us. But until I've gotten evidence that this is legit I'm not buying it. Reason is I don't want to be posting false information. I've still got to find some one who can confirm this is legit, since Dark Editions in Australia are EB Games exclusive I just have to keep asking until something shows up in the system until then I'm just going leave it and just hope it's legit.

that is AWESOME. I don't have the Wii U version, so I had no idea thay made any special references like that....and now I want to boot up my GCN to play some Donkey Konga ( yeah, I own both of them )

Out of curiosity, did these dual packs come with stickers? As everyone knows stickers were removed from the starter pack (cards were removed altogether). The pics above seem to suggest they are missing, but seeking confirmation.

I'm still wondering why Acti dropped the ball and didn't include stickers in the starter pack, other than to be cheap. when I opened mine, I was confused and wondering "Where are the stickers???" because the starter pack is always supposed to have stickers. I thought they were somehow missing from mine, but turns out there weren't supposed to be any. :/ And now suddenly in these dual packs, they have stickers... geez, Acti... why do you have to make these confusing decisions.

I got the Nintendo characters from starter packs, didn't even notice there were no stickers for them. I only really cared about saving cards/stickers when they came with registration numbers for the mobiles games and such.

Since they didn't do that for SuperChargers, I've just been tossing the stickers into any random Skylander storage box I happen to be next to when I open new figures. I definitely won't be re-buying these dual packs just for stickers, but I totally understand people who wanted them felling burned that they didn't come in the starter packs.

Did anyone went to TRU today? They just had a shipment of Bowser and Donkey Kong combo packs before GameStop did.

bestbuy currently has them, i haven't gotten one yet though.

Is gamestop doing the buy one get one deal with dual packs or is it Just intended for the singles ?
