Oh my gosh, they did a SuperChargers Lore video now. Yep they're just milking the Sky videos with the paid promotion from Acti without putting much effort pfft

It even showed the spoilerific final boss in it too! And salty youtube comments are salty~

It's a kiiids' game, let's just spoil everything. It's not like this fanbase has older fans or anything.

This could actually be an interesting video, I imagined what it would be like before if actual effort was put into it, it just seems like Acti is using them to try to get more fans, or I dunno what I'm talking about, I'm just a little disappointed. It seems more like a commercial than a Lore video.

Or the Lore channel doesn't have the motivation to put more effort into the videos on Skylanders, even if Acti paid them. They posted videos on Trap Team and Fast Facts on the series just this week. Like it wasn't until Acti paid them promotion that they decided to do fast Skylander videos so they can get the job done quickly.

I fee like Activision just wasted on their money on a channel there, if Lore aren't actually going put much effort into their works about a game they may or may not find that interesting.

Yeah,their videos on other games like Persona and Bloodborne actually show effort. This was just shoved out of the door, nothing to do with Activision paying them or not.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lore didn't like Skylanders just as much as their subscribers. That may explain the lack of effort in their recent Skylander videos.

Most of LORE's subscribers are fans who dislike/hate Skylanders because of Spyro's design and such.

Actually you can apply that to most people who quit the Spyro series and never came back. I had to correct Eon knows how many people that actually think he was only playable in SSA, some even actually were relieved since the info spread by the haters is that he's as good as dead as of Superchargers.

Yep, it isn't the first time I see those and it won't be the last I fear. But let's forget about wasted steps forward in evolution.

I can't just imagine a Did you know Gaming about Skylanders. If who makes those videos would put some effort...and who will be the person in the video talking.

This is why certain people should cover it over LORE.

I doesn't look lazy or anything. It looks like an Lore video. Simple but funny. The "awful" art style was made to make it more funny.

I remember of another Skylanders Fast Facts in 2014. It's actually the way that I meet the channel.

The Fast Facts most of the videos say happly "Fast Facts", but not the Skylanders one.

Dunno, their animation was always,uh... Questionable,but the problem is how brief it is. I remember the Persona one actually talking about all 4 games and having hilarious animation,but we need someone reading transcripts of each of the Skylanders games?

The Channel needs to enjoy making the videos. This proofs it has no effort.

Him having a body(well,head) and influencing directly was only hinted at before release, so it's kind of a spoiler even if early game.

Well, I don't have the game, and the fact that The Darkness is in the game is part of the main plot, the one that you know before buying the game.

But, showing the Final Boss form is a bit much, so I agree with that.

Just like there other Skylanders LORE Videos.

What are these LORE videos supposed to be for? I clicked on a couple others and they just seem to be straightforward summarizations of the stories of stuff. Do they add jokes or something to make things funny, or are they just something for people who have never watched or played a certain story before?

Supposed to be short videos that tell the stories on video games within 2 minutes.

Consider lore can be very subtle, even hidden sometimes.
Souls games (including Bloodborne) are a perfect example.

These videos should help you understand what's the story behind a game because sometimes it's not that obvious: you might have to talk to all the NPCs, ready every description, pay attention to small details in the environment and things like that.

This video is rather "useless" because simply playing SuperChargers provide you with all the informations about its lore.
Skylands' lore would be a total different thing, because you'd have to read the books and comics to fully understand it but the game's lore is mostly all there.

Not to mention if you have to make a video like this you can avid making a video at all.
I generally don't care when people says "this is a kid's game, it's stupid" (yeah, just like Pixar makes movies for kids and LEGO created toys for kids! Oh wait, you saw Pixar movies and still play with LEGOs...? Then why are you criticizing the games I like? ) but this shows how unrespectful it can get.

I know the Internet basically hates Skylanders for killing Spyro and everything but the ones making contents for us fans should at least try to be respectful, since we happen to like the series.

I'd say this is more Activision's fault than LORE's. If you're gonna commission someone to promote your game, you should at least make sure the people you're commissioning actually care about what you want them to promote.

You can't really expect that if they're not LPers. And in a sea of haters,usually you're already promoting the few fans enough with care packages and review copies, they don't need to be told how to handle the story and trivia because it's part of their videos.

Kinda funny. VV probably has some of the best Skylands lore today. Hell even SF has some decent world building.

We don't know how much of it is taken from TFB's estabilished lore that just wasn't in the games yet. SF had too much of 'these similar looking/similar purpose things? THEY HAVE TO BE RELATED' instead of actual helpful lore though.
