~Part One~
The dark land was surrounded by a velvet sky studded with small, flaring stars. The lifeless trees rustled calmly in the chilled breezes. A lare, red, female dragon called Kezina stood beside the Quartz River which flowed staright through the thick forest. She was there waiting for the other two elders to arrive with the preciuos eggs. Despite being slightly worried about the dark forces Kezina was pretty excited for the birth of the newest dragons in their tribe. Mainly because she knew they were different from all the other hatchlings and she knew that they were destined for greatness.

Kezina was still stood there after a few minuets or so. Everything was silent. The sudden gust of wing made Kezina turn round stiffly. It was only Kinny and Ashrone the other two elders. Kinny had the red-orangey egg in his front paw whereas Ashrone had the orangey-green one.
"Why so long?" She asked.
"The dark forces they were there!" Ashrone replied. Kezina was worried. For all they know the forces could be coming after them this very moment.
"Quickly we must send these egs far from here. I'll open the portal," Kezina whispered. Kinny was now standing on his hind legs holding both hatchlings. Kezina closed her eyes tightly and put her paws together. She slowly drew them apart and as this she did so a glittering portal appeared. All three dragons nuzzled the eggs before sending them off to safety. The eggs were swiftly sucked into the pulsing portal. Kezina sobbed. Kinny hugged her for comfort. Even though the chicks were not hers she couldn't think of them not being in her life ever again.
"Don't worry. They'll return some day," said Ashrone.

~Part Two~
The sun bet down warmly upon the emerald fields. Firefang an amethyst scaled dragon was sat up in a big tree. She looked out to Eastern hills. Through the wide gap in the leaves her body shimmered in the bright light. Firefang sometimes felt that she didn't belong, that she should somewhere else. Not that she disliked where she lived. She was very happy with her friends and village. The Plinco Valley was a beautiful place with soft grass, exciting places and mystories. The gently sound of rushing water danced around her ears. She sighed. Maybe it was time to go back to the village and have some lunch. Her stomach grumbled slightly. Firefang jumped from branch to branch going down, down. When her feet were firmly on the ground she made her way back to the village at the far end of the valley.

For lunch Firefang had a scrumpciuos chicken. Her taste buds were satisfied and so was her belly. After lunch Firefang decided to make her way back to where she felt relaxed which was the big tree. She was half way through the feild when there was a massive bang from behind. She jumped and spun round in the air from fright. Her hearted started to race. The village was a lite! But how did this happen? Firefang didn't know what to do! Should she go back? But what if she was killed?
Firefang just let it go and rushed back to her home. She was almost there. However she randomly changed from running to flying. But her wings were not moving. Firefang looked up to see the head of another dragon. Its claws were firmly wrapped round her body. She squirmed and squealed to escape its strong grasp. The other dragon did nothing. Just kept flying. Striaght over the blazing village, over the cramped forest and pass the hills.

They were at least a 100 metres away from the village now.

Sounds cool!
