Amazon.co.uk just confirmed that Nightfall will be released on the 18th of December.

That's a nice date, shortly before christmas. But why wait when you can already have her :3 (if you're lucky or on ebay)

So I'm not even getting her for xmas or birthday even if Amazon wasn't so stingy with shipping to Brazil, nice gotta love the whole month for anything to get here during the holidays.

Well, I just hope that the news make the defective Nightfalls decrease in price, since they work on all consoles but X1,Wii and 3DS now if I recall.

I forgot to mention that with Skylanders the release dates in the UK and the US are nearly always different. Usually the US gets everything first. I'd expect to start seeing Nightfall show up in US stores in early December, but that's just my guess. We won't really know for sure until aniother retailer confirms it but this probably isn't the release date for the US.

I think because it is a factory error package. The ones that were released say Night Fall (2 words)on the package. The ones that come out in December will say NightFall (1 word) on the package.

That's excellent news! One thing I'm wondering, however, is if the figures they're distributing are the corrected versions, or if they're simply a release of the original production run. It'd be a shame if fans couldn't use her in both SuperChargers and SuperChargers Racing.

That stinks! Same day as the new Star Wars comes out. Hopefully TRU opens early that day so I can go pick up Nightfall then go see Star Wars VII.

Anybody who bought a defective Nightfall before the recall can send the broken one in and Activision will send a figure of their choice followed by a replacement Nightfall

I'm not too bothered if doesn't see widespread distribution here until next year. I'm patient, I can wait.

Didn't know about that. Yeah, Reminds me of Hoot Loop's mistaken slogan on Swap Force. You'll get a few dollars, but I feel it's more of a novelty. Time will tell I guess.

I don't think the package misprint will be much different, but depending on the new figures and if the figure IDs are different ("correct") in them, the recalled figures might bring a small premium over the standard version. It *is* a first for the series. I just wonder how many made it out there.

The packaging of my Nightfall spelled her name correctly. Though if you think about it, all German Nightfalls were spelled correctly... who would've thought that

Darth Nyctovious.
Use the Latin word for night/dark from nyctophobia (nycto-), and add -vious.

This totally gives me an idea. Earlier, I just announced on the Fandom Board that I am putting Darth Vader as a Guest Star Skylander in my upcoming game. After I make the game, I am going to start releasing comic sequels leading up to my next game after that. In those, I will probably show Darth Vader teaching Nightfall as a student of the Dark Side or something like that. Awesomeness!

Darth Sidious is (in)sidious
Darth Maul is maul.
Nightfall was no different. Night & dark, in Latin, is the same: nycto-. Then you add the -vious.
Or whatever else that might make it sound cool.

Me too. I got all of wave 1 and 2 from Activision for review a week before launch. We were encouraged to send Nightfall back for a replacement "before the holidays." I'm hoping she will be in the box with my review copy of the iPad version when it arrives.

I don't have her yet, but according to people who do, she will work as lone as you have it updated to version 1.3.0


Also, where did you find her?

Walmart - San Antonio TX... Package says night fall instead of nightfall
