I wish it was true but I think we will have 1 revamped charcter yet and probably smash it wave 3

they already releasing the vehicles and figurines in separate waves... we knows how this will end up, chaos... there will now be a lot of shops that will not take in the figurines or vehicles that belong together for the powerups/upgrades etc... this just dont look good at all, people are already having difficult getting the trap team traps they wants.

If the Pop Fizz thing is true, we have a full roster.

Gee..none of the characters that I was really interested in are there...Stormblade I'm iffy about and the rest are a strong and definate no. Vehicles I couldn't care a lick about. I guess I will indeed get the game on Black Friday discount.

according to that list you might see that in wave 1 if dive clops comes out and his vehicle IS missing. the dark vehicle is the only sea one. Is there really a point to release that many land vehicles in wave 1?

If there's only 20 skylanders this time and the first wave has 7 (or 11 counting the starter packs) does that mean all the figures will be available sooner and less waves?

$90.93 for the figures ($12.99 x 7) and $104.93 for the vehicles ($14.99 x 7)
If I were to get all of Wave 1, PS3 starter packs ( regular & dark), it would come close to $380 before tax.
I'm going for it because I'm curious about each character, plus it's a relaxing game that really doesn't require a lot of concentration to really enjoy it.
Plus it's fun, regardless of what they do with future installments.

Go on myskylanders.de and check the first picture, the racing pack w/ Gill Grunt & Reef Ripper. There's another trophy. I zoomed it closer and it's.....Golden Queen. I think that what was introduced w/ Kaos in the DE SP might be throughout the game. So Golden Queen would be unlocked w/ her own vehicle.
Who knows....maybe w/ Fiesta & Crypt Crusher or Rollerbrawl & her vehicle, there might be a Wolfgang trophy. Didn't someone mention the voice actor for Wolfgang is returning. This might be it.

You missed Dive Bomber. The leak showed that vehicle is there.

Smash It would almost HAVE to be the Earth character. I agree, the name isn't great, but I honestly think if I say it a few times I'll end up laughing and like it

If this list is true (and I don't doubt it since myskylanders.de never posted an information which wasn't at least 99% confirmed from what I remember) then I'll get all the brand new Skylanders, Sky Slicer and Dive Bomber (maaaaaaaybe Sea Shadow instead of it but I want to get the basics done first).

If I find the gimmick interesting and fun as I think it will be then I will most likely buy all the remaining vehicles.

I'm just planning on getting all the new Skylanders and their vehicles, so 7 new characters and 5 new vehicles in the first wave is pretty great.

I'm planning on all the trophies. PF probably won't get it- no magic doom raider. And PF and his vehicle, dark starter too.

First time in all 5 years everyone I want is in Wave 1 (SF being exception). Though looking at my savings I'll have to be content with Fiesta and Crypt Crusher for the first few months.

Well, they spelled "Stealth Sting" instead of "Stealth Stinger", so the could have spelled It instead of Hit...

i think there's going to be less waves due to how much the other games are pumping out. glancing over amazon, i'm liking the worlds that are being offered in lego dimensions. the fact the simpsons, back to the future, portal, chima and ninjago are in it is pretty strong so even just that is going to give skylanders a run for the money. seems they also use different vehicles too for their game. In fact it kind of feels superchargers copied the idea some from it. It really feels driving is a part of all the games in some form this year.

sure superchargers shows a bit more detail for the figures and the action packs might be the better investment overall for the trophies, which probably are only found in them. so that might also determine what figures people buy in general. if you want a certain trophy you'll probably have a certain figure set. I like the action sets simply on having both character and vehicle as it makes it easier if the price is right.

It might be a lot better to not buy single packs and just collect the action packs.

Please let there be less waves this time, I don't want to wait till spring to play as a character I like

I have a feeling there will be only 3 waves, but it's not too likely.

I just double-checked myskylanders.de and found out something that Dive Bomber (Sea) will be added to the Wave 1 vehicles.
So two of the figures won't have their matching vehicle, or two of the Wave 1 vehicles won't have their matching Supercharger.
Unless......they release either the combo packs (matching figure/vehicle) or Action Packs (matching figure/vehicle with trophy)
We know they are, but other than Terrafin and Gill Grunt, we don't know which will be released other than singles.
As always, I have found out as much as everyone else.
But at least we'll start off with seven matching pairs: Spitfire/Hot Streak, Dive Clops/Dive Bomber, Storm Blade/Sky Slicer, Fiesta/Crypt Crusher, Nightfall/Sea Shadow, Shark Shooter Terrafin/Shark Tank and Super Shot Stealth Elf/Stealth Stinger.
That gives us three land, two sea and two air. Not too shabby for the first wave.

I was thinking the same thing.

Maybe they will simply release Combo Packs for the Skylanders/vehicles which didn't get pairings Single Packs.

I wasn't able to find out which skylanders/vehicles are in the first dual packs but it looks like there are only 2 dual packs in the first wave and I suspect Terrafin/Shark Tank to be one of them just because we've already seen it. And it also looks like the listings are wave 1 AND 2.

I'm more than okay with the lost being waves 1 and 2. It has 7 of my characters and 5 of my vehicles, counting the starter pack, so I'll be mostly done just after this initial wave. I wonder who the other duo pack is. I'm going to guess Storm Blade and Sky Slicer.

And the next Racing Pack comes with wave 3 btw. Don't know which one, but that's what the listings are saying.

Probably gonna pick up Nightfall at the start, and I dunno who else.

All i'm probably gonna pick up is stealth stinger at launch, after being very disappointed by trap team going to stick with the dark edition first and see where I go from there, hoping I enjoy this as much as I did swap force.

So that covers 5 of the SuperChargers and 7 of the Vehicles I know for certain I'd like to collect, leaving only 20-22 still missing. Together with the ones from my Starter Packs, that would give me roughly half the toys I'd like to collect!

There will likely be 5 waves. 7 being in the first wave was what I had suspected would be. If you do the average of the last 2 games then it matches. I changed trap masters to vehicles and cores to superchargers, etc. i suspected we would get 7 of each in wave 1, 3 in wave 2 and based on assumptions we will get 5 in wave 3, 3 in wave 4 and 2 in wave 5. Granted these can slightly change as initially my numbers were 6(7), 4(3), 4, 4, 2 respectively but as I factor in marketing, likelihood and spacing and I assume 1-1 ratios then it slightly alters. However once we learned there are only 18 of each then it changed to 7, 3, 4, 2, 2.

Thank goodness that these are the characters in Wave 1. No I don't have to spend as much money at launch as I thought.

The Dark Wii U Starter Pack
Nightfall
Sea Shadow
And I haven't decided between Sky Slicer, Stealth Stinger, or Jet Stream. (I'm getting the regular Wii starter pack later on to get SE and Bowser. And I want to get Jet Vac because Supercharged Jet Stream is what I live for.)
