No, it doesn't bother me at all, after Gorm and Rufus.

NOTHING will annoy me regarding dialogues, after them.

With all honesty, I have never seen a difference between Persephone and Mirror of Mystery Persephone.

But you could also check on SSA and SG couldn't you? I thought you could. And yes Mantez needing to load the level to check is very annoying.

As for Persephone she is HOT so I can forgive her for the repetitive talking.

I can think of a whole bunch of NPC,s more annoying then Persephone . I am glad she is back.

At least SWAP Force gave you something to think on, while watching one of the almost unskippable, repetitive introduction cutscenes.

Why does everyone hate Gorm so much? He's stupid, but at least you only need to listen to and skip his dialogue once each time you visit Woodburrow. Then you can upgrade tons and tons without a single thing you have to skip. I hate that TFB regressed on that. Having to skip Persephone's dialogue for every single upgrade- including each new one on a single Skylander- is much more inconvinient and annoying. It's just like how you can't access extra modes from the pause screen any more, or how every time you beat a level in Kaos Mode, you're kicked back to the Academy and have to start the mode again and wait for load screens.

You guys act like Persephone never did this in Spyro's Adventure and Giants...

What kills me is both developers have made very poor decisions in terms of UI and end user interaction design choices. I'm talking about things freshman scholars in IT shouldn't be making. Ironically I look at all of the white papers on VV's site and I know these guys are smart, but they're missing very stupid things like this that help "kill" some of the fun.

Well... there is a very advanced technique you can use so that you don't have to hear it every time.

No, you couldn't. You had to load the level in order to see the objectives.

But yes, I agree it is annoying to have to hear Persephone yap at you every time you go to get a new upgrade. At least in Swap Force, you only had to hear Dork--err, I mean Gorm once each time you entered Woodburrow, then you could buy upgrades without interruption. Why could TfB not have done this?

Rufus still takes the cake for the most annoying NPC though. God, I hope he's not in Sky5...

Not as bad, but still can get aggravating.

But I agree, I liked how in Swap Force you didn't have to talk to Gorm every time you buy a single upgrade. It's a much easier concept and easier to handle. But it would be really useful if Persephone didn't ask if you wanted an upgrade every time before you bought one. Especially for the fact how they give you SO MANY COINS in Trap Team.

Maybe this is why they took out Heroic Challenges, they couldn't work out a way to be able to skip Cali's speech that went on and on and on in Giants every time you went to take a challenge.

They are both equally irritating, but at least Gorm irritates you once. Persephone is ongoing, like Rufus.

Gorm had the misfortune of being part of the same game Rufus was in.

No other reason.

I have no problem skipping a two seconds dialogue part, even for 5 or 6 time in a row.
In fact, I don't even hear it, after the first time.

Not after SWAP Force.
Not after Rufus.

In all honesty, I kind of like Persephone just because I can imagine her getting on the other character's nerves. With her being all rainbows and lollipops and all.

Just mash the tertiary attack button, you get "Are you re---""Are you re---""Are you re---" which is much funnier.
Though they could just make her say it the first time you open the game for old times' sake and until you reset it she goes straight to the upgrade menu. Or, we could solve the problem for BOTH her and Gorm and have the darn thing go back to the menu automatically after an upgrade.

^ That's what it did with Gorm. Also, you didn't have to listen to him every time you wanted to re-open the upgrade menu, just once per visit to Woodburrow.

I have no idea how people can prefer Persephone's yapping to Gorm's yapping. You have to skip his text far less often and instanty getting sent back to the upgrade screen really streamlines things.

Persephone's more entertaining by far. I'm not here for the umpteenth muscle obsessed guy, but maybe for the strange fairy that barely knows english and when she learns it she forgets it in a YEAR.
