"You and your precious siblings locked me in that hole for eight hundred and twenty years. Almost a millennia, Juliet. Do you honestly believe that I don't deserve my revenge? I played by your rules, sister. It's time that you play by mine."

The possessed demigod chuckled, the shade shaking the head that did not belong to him, before his expression darkened with a mix of fury and cold determination.

"I am not condemning myself to another thousand years of misery."

A thousand years ago, in the Equestria we all know, Nightmare Moon rose and was quickly defeated by her elder sister.

But this isn't the Equestria we know.

Once, it was ruled by a Queen and her eight younger siblings, a goddess and eight demigods who kept balance and peace within the fledgling country. A being known as the Announcer, the estranged, eldest sibling of the royal family, tried to tear apart Equestria in its first years, but was defeated and cast into the bowels of the Queen's own domain.

Unlike the original Equestria, species other than ponies were given freedom to be unoppressed citizens, and as such changelings, gryphons and others were readily accepted, and common.

Two hundred years ago, the Queen fell to madness, giving her younger siblings no choice but to force her into an eternal slumber, hidden away as to be protected from Equestria, and for Equestria to be protected from her.

Now, for the last twenty years, Equestria had been in a state of fear and misery. In the absence of the Queen, Pendleton Invictus, the Demigod of Ideas, took charge under the moniker of 'Nightmare Invictus', and turned against his very domain. The twisted being vowed to remake the country, and later the world, in an image of absolute perfection, making sure everything and everyone abided by perfect Order and Protocol, obliterating Ideas completely.

But not everything is as it seems. Snide little comments, the occasional whisper for help, the Nightmare mentioning things that had never happened to Pen, but had happened to one particular psychopath eight hundred years ago...

The Announcer had returned.

Juliet Invictus, the Demigoddess of Morality, and Nightmare Invictus' sequential sister, fled the castle in order to find a group of ponies who can help her find the Elements of Harmony, before the Nightmare does. They lie with the Queen, and Juliet is afraid of the volatile magic that permeates the goddess' resting place.

But not all ponies are in opposition to Nightmare Invictus' regime. Some support the promises for absolute order, the complete destruction of chaos, while others have been forced into it via blackmail or mind control.

She seeks to free Equestria from the Announcer's tyranny. Nightmare Invictus is merely the first victim.

~Equestria:

This Equestria (Alt Equestria) is very similar to the Royal Sisters' Equestria, with a few key differences.

Alt Equestria is far more scientifically advanced than even modern day original Equestria, due to the Queen being the Goddess of Science and Progress. As a drawback, however, magic isn't quite as advanced as it is in the original Equestria.

Kirin are a rare breed, almost unheard of in both worlds, though the Royal Family of alt Equestria consists of these equine-dragon hybrids. They tend to be unstable, both physically and mentally, with different mutations being factored by the appearance of the dragon father, and the tribe of the pony mother. One of the few physical consistencies among all kirin is the lack of a Cutie Mark.

The Royal Family itself, Invictus, all share the common features of magic, scales, antlers, and fire. Of the demigods, three have wings, three have strong magic, and two have superior physical strength and stronger flames. The Queen has all three. The Announcer's wings and horn were severed permanently, sundering his divinity, and permanently affecting both his link to his domain (Protocol and Order) and his mind.

The mechanics of the eight demigods work similar to regular ponies, albeit immortal and somewhat stronger in their respective non-divine kinds. Like the alicorns, they have a domain, though the grand aspects of nature the alicorns tend to embody are reserved for the gods themselves. The eight demigods control aspects relating to personality and virtues;

Ideas (Blue), Morality (Violet), Fact (Pink), Adventure (Green), Emotion (Red), Logic (Navy), Determination (Yellow), and Curiosity (Orange).

All except Juliet had fled, or had been imprisoned, as Nightmare Invictus doesn't have any use for most of them (aside from a host; that role has been covered quite well by Pen), and any semi-divine being allowed to walk free is a threat. Even Juliet herself isn't technically 'free', the Nightmare has made a point of knowing exactly where she is and what she's doing at all times.

Geographically, Ponyville exists earlier in this continuity, formed after the Everfree Forest was created by the Queen when she fell to madness two hundred years prior. The Notre-Dame de la Scienza, the Queen's castle and citadel, is Alt Equestria's equivalent to the Ancient Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters. The Queen herself lies within the depths of this castle, kept in an enchanted slumber upon a lit dais.

Nightmare Invictus is both the main antagonist and a valuable ally, the tyrant king and the first victim. He will make frequent appearances, in both states of the monster's split minds, with the Announcer to gloat and Pen to try and offer what little help he can. Of his mentality, there is no doubt that the Nightmare is both insane and delusional, and can be driven to very desperate measures to ensure both his continued survival, and his rule.

As an added note, very few actually know the truth to Pen's predicament, thus most ponies merely believe that their prince had turned against them of his own free will.

The members of the Royal Family draw an interesting parallel to a certain set of personality constructs from a certain Aperture Science...

Personality: Strong-willed and tenacious, she never gives up. Has a hot temper, and is usually in a brooding, angry mood. Quick witted. Not unintelligent, but her headstrong nature tends to overshadow her logic, putting her or those she cares about into danger that could easily be avoided. Doesn't think too far ahead into the future, mainly focusing on staying alive, and her current plans. Has a strong sense of morality, doing what is right no matter the cost, even if it could plunge the entirety of Equestria into danger. Bold, fearless, and reckless. Doesn't talk much, rarely one to start a conversation, but will participate in one as readily as the next pony.
Appearance: Pale blue with a long, very dark brown mane, which is usually tied up in a loose ponytail with a scrap of orange fabric. Steel grey eyes. Quite short, lean, and muscular, being smaller than the average height for mares, with a short, pointed horn.
Magic aura is brilliant blue.
Cutie Mark: Two stylised roses, one orange, the other blue.
Skills/Weapons: Strong and agile, Authea is surprisingly well built for a unicorn. While not particularly powerful magically, but with her quick-wit and ability to use teleportation to 'jump', she is a valuable asset and not one to be caught out.
Wields a pair of short knives.
History: Grew up with a relatively stable family, neither rich nor poor, in Canterlot, having a close relationship with her younger brothers. Misses the days of peace and happiness that she knew in her childhood, before Pen rose up from the ranks of his siblings to take charge for himself. A foalhood friend of Pharate, the pair being surprisingly well-behaved for Canterlot foals in this time, practising their skills without resorting to thieving.
Her stubborn nature in bringing back the Equestria she had known and loved had never faltered, as she even attempted to assassinate the king herself. Authea failed, Nightmare Invictus showing 'mercy' by forcefully compelling her to do away with her entire family, before banishing her to the Everfree Forest.
Other: Despite everything she's lost through her own stubborn refusal to face facts, Authea is still trying to free Equestria from the tyrant. Juliet has noted the strong pull to Morality that Authea shows, surprising even the demigoddess herself.

Personality: Calm and quiet, going about his life with a kind of wary caution. Quite hesitant, reluctant to put himself in danger. Perceptive, possessing a great memory. Has qualities making of a good spy, he prides himself on being able to remain quiet, though is a little self-conscious of the fact that he disguise magic doesn't 'work' as it should. Quite the opposite to Authea, Pharate carefully thinks about his options before proceeding. His general demeanour is of a simple cheerful happiness, with a tinge of hyperactivity, though it is often fairly restrained.
Appearance: A dark grey changeling with a messy mane and tail of icy white. Blue eyes, his inner iris being azure blue, the outer iris light blue, and the sclera pale blue. His backshell gradients from dark to light blue, his belly plating being a bluish off-white. Pale blue wings. Quite holey for a changeling, with a long, curved horn. Tall and thin.
Cutie Mark: None.
Skills/Weapons: With his kind's particular ability with disguising, Pharate is highly skilled, being able to take on nearly any shape he so chooses. A drawback is the embarrassing fact that he can't change the colour of his eyes, leaving him susceptible to discovery if his disguise doesn't naturally have blue eyes.
Doesn't carry a weapon, but has a few spells in his arsenal that he can use to attempt to protect himself.
History: Born and grew up in Canterlot, watching passively as the world around him slowly dulled and died away. A foalhood friend to Authea, the two being a fine example of 'opposites attract'.
In recent years, Nightmare Invictus had decided that changelings were 'imperfect, disorderly creatures' and sought to drive them out. While his family disguised themselves to remain undetected, Pharate himself fled to the Everfree.
Other: Due to Nightmare Invictus, he has a certain distrust towards ponies, especially kirins, and especially the Princess Juliet Invictus who had appeared recently.

Personality: Calm and quiet, rarely speaking unless she needs to. Rarely shows emotion, though she can feel it, and doesn't let them cloud her emotions. She is the embodiment of morality itself, and thus she has an incredibly powerful tie to doing what is right. A bookish mare, she was the head librarian of the palace for the centuries before fleeing in the face of Nightmare Invictus' wrath, and writes her own novels in her spare time. Highly intelligent, perhaps more so than the shade that had possessed Pen. Incredibly protective of her family and subjects.
Rumoured to have dark intentions, Juliet having been the advisor to the throne for as long as Equestria had existed, and using her position to manipulate the Queen, and later, Nightmare Invictus.
Appearance: Dark grey coat with a dark brown mane, which is usually tied back in a tight ponytail. Her left eye is violet, with a slightly darker shade for her pupil, and pale purple for the sclera. Her right eye is a milky, greenish silver, with a darker pupil and pale silver sclera. Tufted ears, similar to that of a bat pony. Has a 'mane' of dark brown fur along her back, starting from the base of her neck down to the base of her tail. Her tail itself is draconic, rather than equine, with a tuft of dark brown mane at the end. Wears rectangular-framed glasses. Has fangs, though the rest of her teeth are flat.
Quite short and plump, considering how most of the rest of her family is tall and thin. Has violet scales covering parts of her body, specifically the bridge of her nose, her cheeks, her underside, her lower neck, her shoulders, and just below the flanks. Has a pair of violet antlers. The fur at her hooves is long, and exposes violet keratin hooves. Her unicorn horn is curved back, similar to that of the changelings.
Her magic is violet, with her dark magic being a solid black with a violet haze and bright green sparks.

Her magic is potent, Juliet wielding dangerous dark magic at her disposal, the demigoddess herself having discovered and revolutionising the very art. She is strong-willed enough as to not let the magic possess her, as it did Sombra in years passed.
As a kirin, she can breathe violet flames.
History: Juliet is the fourth child of ten born to the Goddess of Music, who had come from another world (and had soon returned to it), and the King of the Dragons.
Very little of her and her siblings' past is known, aside from the fact that they helped found Equestria around eight hundred and fifty years ago.
Two hundred years ago, when the Queen fell to madness, it was Juliet who roused her brothers and sisters in order to bring down the maddened goddess. As an alternative for killing the Queen, Juliet offered her a sleeping enchantment instead of death, allowing her to pull herself back together for a few decades, without harming herself or others. The Queen accepted, but was tricked by her sister, who had no intention of ever waking her up.
It is said that twenty years ago, before Pen fell to the Announcer's will, Juliet had so deeply betrayed her brother as to cause him to 'give up' resisting the Announcer. Whatever this betrayal was, or even if it is true, no one knows, and Juliet isn't privy to revealing that secret.
Other: The Demigoddess of Morality, the fourth child of the Goddess of Music and the King of the Dragons.
Seeks to liberate Equestria from the psychopath who haunts it, but is terrified at the prospect that she might have to reawaken the Queen in order to do so, not knowing what her state of mind is, or the fact that she would inevitably be furious at Juliet's trickery.

Gender: Male
Species: Kirin (Pegasus [Pen], Alicorn [NMI, Announcer])
Personality: A tyrant with a split personality, the Announcer not having as full control over his host as he would have everyone believe.
As the Announcer, Nightmare Invictus' dominant personality, he is a calm and calculating individual with high intelligence. Practical and pragmatic in behaviour, systematically going about his plans along a set, mental schedule. Cruel and merciless, he won't hesitate to kill anyone or anything that stands in his way, though he enjoys inducing psychological torture upon his victims, of which Pen himself if the original. Has a twisted sense of humour, and is quick to laugh at the pain of others, and quicker to anger. Breaks down any and all rebellions or otherwise that has to do with breaking protocol and having ideas with a thorough haste. His anger is something to be avoided at all costs, and he can be driven to desperate measures to ensure his rule and self-preservation.
Of Pen himself, he is a cheerful, if hesitant being, trapped within his own personal hell that the Announcer tailored for him. Broken down by grief, and on the verge of insanity, a scared, confused pony. Can barely remember anything past the last twenty years, and is mostly unaware of what the Announcer had been doing under his name, only that they have been happening.
Appearance: A blue-grey stallion with a light orange mane, which flows with a flame-like quality. Light blue eyes, with slitted, dark blue pupils and icy blue sclera. Heavily scarred. Tufted ears, similar to a bat pony. His tail is draconic, with a flame-like tuft of mane at the tip. Wears heavy, dark grey armour. Has a pair of fangs, with the rest of his teeth being naturally quite pointy.
Tall and thin, being a bit shorter than Celestia in height (if she existed in this continuity), with a starved, gaunt look that is mostly disguised by his armour. Covered in dull blue scales in various places, including the bridge of his nose, cheeks, underbelly, base of neck, shoulders, and back of his wings. Hooves are a similar colour. Light blue antlers. Has a long, curved horn, similar to that of a changeling, that is artificial.
His magic aura is light blue, accented by icy blue and with black sparks present within.

Skills/Weapons: Powerful magic, though unrefined.
The Demigod of Ideas, possessed by the God of Protocol, Nightmare Invictus has abilities pertaining to the concepts of both domains, though neither is as strong as either of them should have been in their natural states.
Pen himself has an unusual talent with illusion magic. The Announcer specialises in mind control and full-on possession, at the cost of victims being able to resist and break free of the former, and his true body being vulnerable with the latter.
As a kirin, he can breathe light blue flames, though his are admittedly weak, and tend to tire him out. Nightmare Invictus will only use these as a last resort, and at close range.
Paranoid of being caught off-guard; he always hides a knife with him.
History: Little is known about either Pen or the Announcer's pasts, being the third and first siblings born to the Goddess of Music and King of the Dragons, respectively.
Pen originally came to be attacked by the Announcer thirty years ago, when the former ventured down into the depths to see if the Queen had hidden any weapons to use against her siblings. He managed to fight off the oppressive blight for a decade, before finally falling to his will.
Other: The Demigod of Ideas, broken down and possessed by the Fallen God of Protocol.
Nightmare Invictus' ultimate goal is to enforce his rule over Equestria, with the ideals that everything must abide by protocol, with nothing deviating from his idyllic paradise.
He is fully aware of the Queen's location, and intends to go down in order to take her magic for himself in order to finally, after twenty years, enter his endgame.

Species: Changeling
Personality: He is fully aware of his powerful abilities, but is extremely mentally unstable. He was builled as a foal, but did not hide from the bullies. From this, he is stronger, but as a result, brash and unkind.
Appearance: His main form is an average changeling, with two white streaks across his eyes. He has white eyes and sharp ears, his fangs longer than average. He is a bit taller than the average changeling, and so skinny you can see his ribcage through his shell.
Cutie Mark: N/A
Skills/Weapons: He is a skilled martial artist with a taste for bloodshed so strong he can tear through hordes of enemies, but he usually faints after this is done. This skill is how he earned his nickname.
History: He never enrolled in school, instead insisting his foster mother, Haldia the Gryphon, focus on his martial arts studies. After he earned his black belt, he came home and his house was burning down, Haldia being looted by some shady figures. It was then Torran discovered his power to become a furious bolt of white and black. He was bullied for his markings in high school, but feared by everypony after he demonstrated his powers.
Other: Looking to destroy the organisation that killed Haldia.

Young dragons, yes, but nothing like the obscenely huge adults seen in the show for balancing reasons and whatnot.

No, they don't. Doesn't stop them from having a special talent or whatnot, but it just doesn't show physically.

Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Species: Earth Pony
Personality: Barkis appears to be purely evil with absolutely no redeeming qualities at all; he is shown to be a malicious psychopath and is also megalomaniacal, dishonest, ruthless, cruel, and above all, egocentric. He values his own life above that of others, whether out of cowardice or selfishness, and has no qualms about harming others for the sake of reaching his own goals.
He is ambitious, his true intentions are to get on Nightmare's good side and befriend her, use the demigod's intelligence to overthrow them later on and rule the world himself. To achieve his aims, he will gladly sacrifice everything and anything, including his allies, family, and even his lover.

He is also cowardly as he begs to be spared by ponies when he knows he cannot escape something and will often try to bribe them or trick them to keep living. If necessary, he can retreat by running very fast.

Barkis is egotistical and prides himself on his intelligence and is somewhat of a narcissist, this stems further if someone says or does something(s) that play of it. He has some odd quirks that he is aware of and because of this, he is somewhat comedic, but can be serious.

Quite possibly his greatest trait is his power to manipulate people. He can tell and read of of someone's personality in seconds and because of this, can make them spoil him relentlessly. When someone displeases him, he will react differently depending on it. When someone does something like, get a stain on his clothes, he will at first, want to hit them, but calm down. If someone destroys his chances of manipulation, he will, with no regret, beat them up or plot revenge on them depending on the size of his displeaser.

1. INTELLIGENCE: Barkis has the greatest intelligence in all the land and as a result, will stop at nothing to rule all. He can manipulate, lie, deceive, and trick those around him through bribery, lies, etc. Though despite this, he relies on this constantly and cannot fight.

2. SWORD: He has a small sword which can slightly help him fight back.

3. SPEED: He has trained himself to run fast when he is in a bad situation.
History: He is the older brother of Joseph and the prince to a wealthy family. Because of this, he has leaned to manipulate people with his intelligence, planning to do just that and defeat the demi-god for good, thinking he is almighty.

Species: Earth
Personality: He is Barkis' opposite (with the exception of intelligence), he is very kind-hearted and loving to anypony, no matter they're sins. He is completely good and incorruptable no matter the situation. He is, however, serious, as when he has to stand up to somepony he cares about or a stranger, he will not hesitate to do it.
Appearance: White fur, a toga, brown beard, blue and lipid eyes that are gentle, a staff on his back, brown, messy hair
Cutie Mark: An angel ascending into heaven
Skills/Weapons:

1. INTELLIGENCE: He is as wise as Barkis, but because of his compassion, refuses to manipulate. Instead, he chooses to use it for good. For example, he can treat wounds easily and knows how to make medicines to do it. Like Barkis, he can't fight either

2. SINGING: He is an exceptionally great singer with a beautiful voice.

History: Years ago, he was sent to Canterlot as a foal and raised by the rulers of that land as they're prince. When he became 17, he discovered his true origins as a savior of Equestria. Thus, he left that day and found a true way to heroism from a burning bush that warned him of his brothers evil and the demi-god. He now must stop his brother, Barkis, from ruling over the world with the demi-god and convince her as well to stop her evil.

Other: He was inspired by God, Joseph, Jesus, and Moses, all from the Bible.

Well, first of all, both are a bit godmoddy.

This is MLP, not... not the Bible.

Both Pen and the Announcer are male, and the Nightmare entity is a mix of their two personalities.

Nightmare Invictus is 200% angry male

The mechanics of the sibling gods and the demigods is similar to that of the ancient Greek pantheon, the 'gods' being another term for the alicorns, and being of a similar calibre to Celestia and Luna; powerful, immortal, but ultimately still ponies of flesh and blood, and able to be defeated as such (The Queen, at least, was originally taken out by mostly Juliet alone. The Announcer would be the equivalent of/is an alicorn who has had both his horn and his wings torn off, and his true body is so weak as to be incapable of even walking anymore. Easier to possess a stronger pony than to heal his broken self, no?).

Of the demigods, they are literally just ponies (kirin) that don't die. Generally, they aren't much stronger than mortals (with the exception of Juliet, though she is physically quite frail and half blind), and are essentially just long-lived mortals that each have the special ability to 'look into' and manipulate their respective domains. Essentially like weaker, non-alicorn Cadances.

tl;dr - The Queen is essentially Celestia, Pen/The Announcer are essentially male Luna/Nightmare Moon, and the demigods are just immortal earth ponies/pegasi/unicorns/whatever that can see, i dunno, see how much a pony reflects a certain aspect of their domains.

OCC: Well Barkis isn't working with the demi-god, he wants to use him. And what do you want me to do with Joseph?

Yes, but on neither of those sheets is there anything even vaguely resembling a weakness or whatnot, particularly Joseph.

Of the Royal Family, none of them are partial to adoption. Hell, both the Queen and Pen have had biological foals, and neither case ends well. The Queen's son was murdered, prompting her to seek revenge on her own country. Pen's daughter was 'sent away'. Both cases make it clear to the rest that bad things will happen if they ever have foals, and an adopted foal even more so.

(That, and most of the royal family is made up of egotistical assholes who only care for their own respective professions. Please ask about the individual members; only about two-three of them are exceptions. Hell, or just steer clear of their territory.

I have set headcanons for all ten siblings, the Queen's deceased son, and Pen's lost daughter (Who is more familiar than many might think... Friendship is magic, right?).)

Species: Dragon
Personality: Rumble can be dangerous, acting on his impulses without giving anything a second thought. He is most dangerous when angered, because he rarely thinks before he acts. Despite this, he is a good person and tries to make up for his bad habits.
Appearance: A bronze/brass colored dragon with a line of purple spikes down his back and two golden, ragged wings. His eyes are red.
Skills/Weapons: Rumble rarely uses weapons in a fight, preferring his sharp claws and his giant teeth. He also has the ability to create a sandstorm by flapping his wings, but his ability must recharge for at least 2 hours after each use.
History: Rumble doesn't remember anything of his history before he found himself lost in the desert, alone and hungry. He struggled to survive until he met an older dragon who offered him a chance to come with him and his friends to cause trouble. He refused, and was left in the desert, tied to a chain and left to starve. He was freed by Storm, a member of that same group, who had a crush on him and helped him escape to the city. He now lives with Storm in the city.

Appearance: Storm is a golden dragon with a silver underbelly. Part of her wings are silver as well. She has small ears and green eyes. Her claws are black.
Personality: Storm is kind, but can be a bit of a prankster at times. She enjoys a good joke or anything that makes her laugh, and can easily be distracted by one. Storm is scared of Pegasi (did I spell that right?) for an unknown reason.
Skills/Weapons: Storm can breathe a line of fire that looks slightly like lightning. She carries a sword if her breath attacks fails.

Juliet paused, turning to face her persuer. Nightmare Invictus was frowning, his wings quivering along his back. Under the scars, and the hard, dark exterior, she could almost swear that is was her brother under there. But his eyes were cold, completely at odds with the nature she knew.

"Not allowed? Is that a new rule now?" Juliet laughed bitterly, taking a step closer.

"It could be. Right now, it could be, and you wouldn't be in the place to do even the slightest thing." The Nightmare's horn flickered.

Juliet backed up, shaking her head slowly.

"I'll be back, Pen," she whispered, her horn glowing a steady violet. "I'll be back."

She teleported.

The mare shifted, stirring in the early morning light. Her departure from the palace had been a recurring visitor in her latest dreams, one that she had welcomed more than the other prospecting scenes. The trees moaned and creaked in the slight wind, the latter carrying with it the faint scent of fire.

OOC: I assume we are starting?

Cold wind hit against his face. The snowy path was hard to traverse through. But he had made it.
"I'm going to save your soul, mother." Fury whispered to himself. Charging into the cavern, he stopped. His ears pricked up, and then fell again. He fell to the ground, cursing at nopony in particular. His legs kicked up dust and rocks, flying in his face. He screamed at the top of his lungs.
"WHERE ARE YOU?! MOOOOOM!" Fury's voice echoed through the damp cave, rocks falling from the ceiling and water dripping faster. Slowly but surely, the hunt for his mother's killer was driving him insane. He sighed, forcefully, and got up, legs shaking. His horn lit up white and a book from his black satchel floated up to his face. It was labeled Axis Shades. Fury flipped through its burnt and dry pages. He stopped on one and studied it for a while. His head shifting backwards, Fury levitated the book back into the satchel and closed it. He sighed once more.
He calmly spoke, "I'll just... I'll just keep looking." Trotting off onto the snowy path again, and unfolding his wings, Fury took off into the freezing air, against the warm sun.

"Rumble!" Storm yelled. She jumped over to Rumble, nearly whacking him with her tail.

Rumble lazily opened his eyes. "Storm, you know perfectly fine you can go shop yourself." he growled. "I don't have to do everything, you know."

"But....those winged horses are so...so scary!" Storm whimpered like a hatchling dragon.

"You can face your fear. Pegasi are supposed to be scared of dragons, not the other way around." Rumble growled. "Now let me fall asleep."

Storm reluctantly walked over to the town. Rumble was right, dragons weren't scared of Pegasi, but she could be scared of them and still be a dragon.

Juliet climbed to her hooves, looking about the clearing warily. The changeling she had discovered a few days ago was still asleep, remaining in the shadows. Authea, the unicorn, was absent. Unsurprising, the demigod thought, she was always somewhere else in the mornings.

She frowned, pulling a notebook out of her saddlebags, scribbling something down. She could feel the unicorn's strong attachment to morality, yet her aims are raw. Unrefined. Juliet didn't understand, not yet, but she intended to ask.

Joseph woke up, slowly smacking his lips and got up to mend the sheep in field.

Barkis looked around and heard the tree's moan from where Juliet was.

OOC: Okay, okay. As I said before, and just to reiterate, Joseph is unaccepted.

OCC: Oh, alright, I'll make a new character sheet soon.

Barkis surveyed the area and slowly combed his hair back with his hoof and sighed.

OOC: Thank you. I'm sorry, really, but I'm just uncomfortable with religion being involved with something not remotely related.

Juliet made her way over to Pharate, her face expressionless as her horn lit up.

"You. Wake up."

The changeling groaned, wings buzzing as he rolled over, his back turned to the mare. Juliet frowned, a small tongue of violet flame curling up from her mouth as she sighed.

"Get up. We need to get moving." The Mistress of Morality drew done closer, hissing in Pharate's ear. "I have no doubt that a certain family member of mine would just love to mount our heads on a pike. Are we going to let that happen just so you can get a few extra minutes of sleep?"

Pharate turned back to face her, his eyes narrowed as the pair exchanged a mutual dislike.

"You're making a real good point, Princess. I can't help but wonder why kirin are so hated."

Storm yelped and flew up as a Pegasus walked by. Her wings flapped and the next thing she new, she was in the air. She growled to herself as she thought of how ridiculous she looked.

Barkis slowly saw her tending the changeling and slowly got an idea.

"Exactly why we should be feared, Mr. Antares." Juliet inclined her head, backing up a few steps, before adding. "Antares. Clever, I must admit. The brightest star in Scorpius. My youngest brother would enjoy that."

She quivered, turning to look back with her good eye. "Well, look at that. Chatter. How distracting."

Pharate grunted, before yelling out something unintelligible as a violet haze tore him from his dark, resting place and into the morning sun. Juliet's expression remained impassive, except for the mere flicker of a grin.

Barkis slowly got down and inched up to the changeling, fear slowly consumed him.

Personality: Believes that he's a monster, which makes him shy, believes nobody will ever be his friend
Appearance: He's a blue changeling with a broken horn
Skills/Weapons: He uses his body as a weapon, punching, scratching, even biting if needed
History: Since his birth, he was an outcast. His fellow changelings never spoke to him and would torment him when possible. Even Queen Chrysalis wouldn't help him, she treated him the worst. Chrysalis never taught him how to use his changeling abilities, she literally kicked him out of the hive when he was age 8. He's been traveling the world since, not making friends with anyone because he thought he was a monster. Some villages were nice to him, but others ran him out of town as fast as they could. Now he has entered Canterlot in search for a true home and true friends
Other: He can get emotional

OOC: Accepted, but do note that Queen Chrysalis herself isn't around, but an ancestor may be. The same name could be possible and similar temperament is possible, but not the canon Chrysalis herself.

"I didn't want to have to come to that, Mr. Antares," Juliet stated quietly. "But we need to get moving, unless you want to stay here. Not something that I would recommend."

"What about Authea?" Pharate grunted, pulling himself to his hooves shakily.

"I don't know, you tell me." The rough voice came from the edge of the clearing. The blue unicorn was leaning against a tree, her expression flat.

OOC: ReshiramForever, can I join as Juliet's youngest sibling?

OOC: I'd rather not. Juliet's siblings (The Queen and her younger siblings) are all set and established characters.

OOC: Alright. I'll see if I can come up with something else.

I walked into town wondering if I was ever going to have a friend "I don't think anyone here is going to be my friend either" I said to myself

"Pardon me there changeling." Barkis said, slowly starting to get scared.

((Is Barkis talking to me?))

OCC: Yes.

Fury sighed in the air, the cold air of high altitude making his breath clearly visible. He folded his wings slowly, closed his eyes, and waited. Then the air felt warm after a minute. He unfolded his freezing and battered wings, and stopped. Fury opened his eyes, staring down. Only five feet off the ground wasn't bad. he folded his wings again and landed silently on the dusty road.
"I'd better take a break." He looked around, noting his surroundings carefully. The bar was right there...
but he had better just ask around town. You really can't trust those guys, been in at least 15 bar brawls himself, and they fight dirty.
Fury trotted up to a fellow Changeling and another pony.
"Excuse me... do you know what this book means?" He never cared about interrupting people, if they had a problem with it, they could go run into the Everfree then. Fury lifted the book out of the satchel with his magic. It was jet black, and burned in some corners, a giant spot of gasoline on the back.

"Yes" I said to the pony as a changeling walked over "No, I don't know anything about that" I said "Why would you 2 even want to talk to me? I'm a monster to both pony and changeling

Storm walked up to the changeling with the burnt book. "Looks like a dragon burned it up." she said. "Sorry about eavesdropping on your conversation."

"See, that's it. You may think you are a monster, but I'm certain no pony is truly irredeemable. Anywho, I have a few plans with you." he said.
