I would have to wait untill it hatched to name it, so I could pick something to suit it's personality. And yes, I WOULD keep it! But return it if the mother came looking for it. Also, I would tell no one but my family.

i would keep it unless the parents come and look for it. If the parents did not come to find it, and it hatched, i would have to see if it is a boy or a girl to name it. And yes i would keep it, and When it grows i would have to find a place where it can be free and i can call it whenever i want.

I would look ALL around to see if the parents are around and secretly snatch it. If it were a boy I would name it Leroy or Spyro, But if it were a Girl I would name it Cynder.

I'd probably start by looking for it's mother,
and if I didn't for about 3 hours to a whole day, I'd keep it and take care of it.

I would maybe keep it and if the dragon is female or male, i would name it... um... i don't know. smilie. And i would care him/her until he/she dies of old age. (Or i die of old age smilie).

I would keep it... that's what I would want out of anything in this whole entire earth. So if it was a knucker I would defiantly keep it. They are my favourite type of dragon. I would call it Weasel if it was a girl (hopefully) but if it was a boy I would call it Bones.
Info:Knuckers can not breathe fire. Instead they inject their prey or enemy with a purple poison that would easily kill it.
I would get a pond for it as knuckers live in damp areas. I must tell my family for how can I get the pond? Besides that, no I will tell no one. And I can tell a knucker's egg for it is forest green with thick creamy coloured circles & inside the circles is a brownish-green colour. That's a knucker's egg for you.

I'd rather leave it, or return it.. (depending on the situation)

I'd also keep it a secret. It would be nice to be the only one who knows they actually exist.. Wouldn't like to risk the secret by taking the egg with me..

Unless it was nighttime or it could be broad daylight if you lived out in the country and not a big city.

I live in middle of a forest.. Finland doesn't have that much population, so no really big cities here..

But, still.. I wouldn't take the the egg with me. If there was a dragon nest in the forest nearby, I could still see them someday..

Or wait, did you mean that the egg just lies somewhere?
