PLOT
Long ago, a secret underground science lab began to conduct tests on innocent pokemon. However, these weren't just ordinary tests. The scientists tortured pokemon and fused them with the DNA of other species of pokemon and/or darkness. This went on many years, until one of the scientists became distressed about the tortured pokemon and caused a full-on breakout, resulting in all the pokemon escaping, the test rooms destroyed, scientists injured, and the capture of the human who set the pokemon free.
The pokemon, knowing they weren't wanted anywhere because of their appearances and history, traveled far to a region undiscovered, settling in a forest in a valley between two snowy mountain ranges. The Pokemon named the forest 'Ferris Forest', in remembrance of their hero, in which Ferris was their last name.
A couple of years of peace have passed, but recently the pokemon fusions have been having nightmares of their past in the science labs, and sense a great danger coming from afar. Is this just the result of remembering their past, or is the evil they sense about to happen?

RULES

• I am the GM.
  
• All forum rules apply (no godmodding, mary sues, etc).
  
• No script-writing.
  
• NO Pokemon Trainers, only Pokemon. Max 4 Pokemon characters. You may roleplay an evil pokemon fusion, which will appear later on in the roleplay, and you may roleplay a normal pokemon who lived in the forest before the pokemon fusions arrived.
  
• Pokemon from ANY region are allowed. NO fan-pokemon fusions. NO lengendary fusions (except for Shaymin and Mew).
  
• Battling and romance allowed. Keep it PG-13.

OOC: That's fine. And the moveset is just four moves that your character can use. Since the pokemon is fused, it can have moves that Purrloin can use AND moves that Dragonite can use (no really powerful moves though). Look at my character sheet for example. :3

OOC: You can use a character fused with the DNA of Mew. Or a mew fused with the DNA of a pokemon.

A cool, crisp morning air swirled down into the valley of Ferris Forest from the snowy mountain ranges on a crystal clear morning. Cyra, a glaceon and shiny umbreon fusion, was standing on one of the rocky ledges at the base of the right mountain range, watching the sun rise over the snow-topped left mountain range. A chilly breeze swept down onto her from above and she shivered, twitching her tail. She glanced upwards at the mountains with her golden eyes but quickly averted her gaze downward at the forest. Yesterday, she had decided to meet up with some of her friends at the lake which was situated into the middle of Ferris Forest. She quickly jumped off the ledge and headed towards the lake.

OOC: Haven't you ever heard of Pokemon, Storm? :o

Cyra padded through the undergrowth. After a few minutes of walking, she glanced up at the tree-tops, and her golden gaze fixed on a pokemon above. It was her fusion friend, Scruffy.
"Hey Scruffy!" she called, bounding over to the tree and placing her front paws on the trunk, looking up at him on the branch. "You awake?"

Shay was resting on a patch of long grass besides the lake. He woke as a cool breeze blew some of the long grass to the side to cover his face. As it tickled his nose, he sat up and sneezed, his nose twitching. He glanced at the strands of grass and pushed them aside, standing up and looking at the crystal clear sky. He stared at it for a moment and then switched his gaze to the lake in front of him. Deciding to wake himself up a little more, he flexed his tail and bounded towards the lake, diving straight in.

OOC: Storm, all the pokemon fusions know each other.

"Calm down, Darkwing," Cyra said, giving the purple Dragonite a strange look with her golden gaze. "It's just us. Did something hit your head last night?"

Shay surfaced and saw Sparks peering at him from the lake edge. "Oh, hey Sparks!" he called, swimming over to the edge and looking up at her. "I just thought I'd jump into the lake to wake myself up a little more, that's all." He grinned sheepishly.

"Yeah, I had a nightmare last night," Cyra piped up. "But I try to forget about them, otherwise they make me depressed, or angry, or scared."

Shay blinked and shrugged. "I don't know. I'm a water type...kinda...anyway. I'm used to the water." He lifted his vaporeon tail out of the water. "When you're swimming underwater...it feels like you're flying, in a strange way. Cos you're not touching the ground or anything, you're just...floating."

Cyra blinked, keeping her golden gaze on Scruffy. "Maybe. Depends what the nightmare was about." She flicked her tail nervously.

"Hey, why don't try swim now?" Shay asked. "We can go over to the shallow bay of the lake, it's just over there..." He pointed with his tail to a sandy and grassy area a few metres away.

"I saw the lab too, in my nightmare..." Cyra lowered her ears, remembering dark thoughts.

"Ok." Shay swam over and stood up in the shallow part. "See, I can stand here. You should be able to stand too. Come on in! The water's not even very cold today."

"Th-they wouldn't try and find us...would they?" Cyra asked. Her ears and tails were lowered and she looked very scared. "I mean, as you said, they've left us alone for many years, but now all of a sudden we're all having nightmares..."

"Good, good!" Shay smiled and walked back a few steps. "Do you think you can come deeper?" The water was now up to his chest. However, Shay was a small pokemon, so it wouldn't be very deep for Sparks.

"How do we take extra precaution?" Cyra asked Scruffy. She heard rustling and turned to see Deigo and Syth walk over. "Hi you two."

"Do you feel comfortable enough?" Shay asked Sparks. "Do you want to stay in the shallows or come a bit deeper into the lake?"

OOC: Accepted.

"Are you sure that they're sending us the nightmares?" Cyra pointed out, tilting her head while looking up at Scruffy. "But anyway, you're right. We need to be alert."

"Sure thing, Sparks." Shay nodded, swimming around in a circle. "While you are, can I show you some tricks I've been working on?"

"Mhmm." Cyra nodded and then turned her head, seeing a dark appearance with glowing eyes and a blade. "Uh, guys...what's that over there?" She slowly placed her paws back on the ground and faced the creature approaching, raising her ears and tail and ready to attack if necessary, since she didn't know who or what the creature was.

"Okay!" Shay grinned and then dived under the water. He swam over to the deep part and down to the bottom. After touching the rocky bottom, he pushed himself upwards, using his long vaporeon tail to propel himself upwards faster. He surfaced and flew into the air, doing two front flips, his long tail spraying water droplets everywhere. Shay yelled out a "Yeah!" before diving back into the water, and surfacing a few seconds later, looking over at Sparks. "What did you think?" he asked.

"Oh, it's you, Skylar." Cyra blinked and relaxed her body out of a defensive stance. She hadn't had much interaction with him, but knew who he was and that he was a fusion.
