The land of Niffiria is a world of peace and beauty and all creatures lived under one ruler, the High Drayga. However, an evil force destroyed the land and all the successors of the throne... Or so they thought. Years and years later, five creatures from each of the five races received a message from the great ancestor Solas. They are warned of the 'disappearing-of-the-sun' and impending doom that follows. Each representative and three companions must meet in the center of Niffiria at the Cave of Pure Heart on the 1st of Yraunaj. If they fail this journey, then all will be lost.

Niffiria - Niff-i-ree-ah (The land of beasts and myth)
Drayga - Dray-gah (The High Drayga is the one true ruler of Niffiria)
Solas - Sol-ass (the ancestor of the sun. Basically their version of God)
Yraunaj - Yar-au-naj (January. All months are spelled in reverse in this RP)
Disappearing-of-the-sun - (a term used to describe the never ending night)

The Five Races

Dragons of Lightning -
Description - electric dragons in which have four basic abilities and one secret ability. All can breath electricity and form electric 'furies'. Most come in black with glowing yellow markings, but they can also be grey, dark purple or dark blue. All have glowing markings of either yellow, purple or aqua.
Strengths - speed, stamina and strong against water/ice type creatures
Weaknesses - strength and agility lacks and are weak against dark type creatures. Are most vulnerable behind the head.

Phoenixes of Flame -
Description - fire birds in which have four basic abilities and one secret ability. All can set themselves on fire and breathe flames. Most are red with a black streak from their head to tail, but they can also be yellow, orange, dark red and dark orange. All have a streak down their backs of ether black, deep red or grey.
Strengths - strength, agile and are strong against air type creatures.
weaknesses - speed and stamina lacks and are weak against ice/water type creatures. Are most vulnerable at the neck.

Flying wolves of ice/water -
Description - ice/water wolves in which have four basic abilities and one secret ability. All can control water and/or ice with their minds and are able to fly with bird like wings. Most are white with blue eyes and black paws, but they can also be light aqua, light purple or light grey. All have markings on their paws of either black, marine blue or purple.
Strengths - agility and stamina and are stronger against fire type creatures
Weaknesses - strength and speed and are weaker against lightning type creatures. Are most vulnerable at the tail and lower back.

Griffins of darkness -
Description - dark griffins in which have four basic abilities and one secret ability. All can breathe dark fire and unleash dark 'fury' like bursts of power. Most are black with blue eyes but they can also be dark grey, really dark blue or really dark red. All have a gem on their foreheads which can be black, red or blue.
Strengths - Strength, agility, stamina and speed and are stronger against lightning type creatures.
Weaknesses - Strength, agility, stamina and speed and are weaker against air type creatures. Are most vulnerable on their gems as they are the griffin's power source and 'heart'.

Pegasus of the wind -
Description - air horses with wings of feathers in which have four basic abilities and one secret ability. All can breathe strong gusts of wind and create a large tornado. Most are white with purple wings, main and tail but they can also be grey, aqua or really light purple. All have sparkly like coats and have different color 'hair' in which can be purple, blue, black or red.
Strengths -strength, speed and agility and are stronger against dark type creatures.
Weaknesses - stamina and are weak against fire type creatures. Are most vulnerable in between the wings.

Rules
You can't kill someone unless they give you permission.
Swearing allowed and romance allowed.
No banana and doughnut stuff though, if ya know what i mean.

Well,
Yes you can have a maximum of 3 characters but they have to be in a different race. Reason being is that i want as many people in this RP as possible. Once all slots are closed or the 21st passes over there will be no more open slots due to timing.

It could be because I'm a green sparx? Maybe the colour of your rank effects the colour of your username? That's what I think anyway

In wolf form: Brown wolf, can go bipedal and feral. Same thing with eyes.
Personality: He's a genius and wants everyone to know it. He's arrogant and prideful.
Main abilities:
1. Howl of the storm (Can summon a powerful lightning storm that can strike enemies, can only be used outside.)
2. Fire claws (His claws become coated in fire.)
3. Frost bite (His fangs become ice and if he bites down for long enough the ice begins to freeze the enemy.)
4. Paws of the wind (Can run and attack quickly.)
Secret ability: Shadow twin (His shadow becomes a real wolf for a short time.)

Appearance: Scrimshaw has always been short even by Hobgoblin standards, he is normally seen hunched over his walking cane, and never goes anywhere without his trade mark black hooded cloak, oak cane and Diamond dagger.

Personality: Scrimshaw is a bit of a loner, his crystal eye helps him to see unwanted visitors approaching his cottage and allows him to avoid them.
He rarely gets into fights but when he does, the other party tends to come off worse because he never backs down, which is proved by the scar above his left eye.
Don't be fooled by him, because what he lacks in size and youth, he makes up for in guts and you'd never see him coming.

1. All seeing eye (crystal eye that grants visions)
2. Slash (using a diamond dagger)
3. Cane clobber 'pummels enemies with his cane)
4. Vanishing Dust (allows invisibilty for a short amount of time)

Personality: Rune considers himself a master of his element. He is knowledgeable and loves guiding fellow phoenixes. However, he has little patience for other species and will lock his true self away in presence of them, making him seem cold and uncaring.

Kumara's P.O.V.

Kumara the griffin proudly stood on the edge of a cliff as she watched the many birds fly by...

Frocious' P.O.V.

Frocious wandered around the icy lake that is the center of the 'Land of Wolves'. Many of the fish were way underneath the icy surface of the lake which made it impossible to catch... If you were a normal wolf anyway. Frocious stomped his right paw on the surface of the ice, making the water underneath spin in a vortex. the large cod underneath became caught in the rapid flow of water. The cod was stunned and floated to the ice. Frocious then stomped his paw once more and the ice cracked, forming a hole so he could retrieve his dinner.

Devon walked around the land of ice in his wolf form. He could pass for a regular wolf, from a distance anyway. He walked towards what appeared to be a frozen lake.

Mindra panted as she climbed up the mountain cliff, her claws catching in little niches and grooves. Paw step by paw step, she eventually managed to scale it. She took a moment to catch her breath, then a shadow caught her eye. Kumara! She admired the other griffin, but Kumara never seemed to be one to hang out with the others. It was a good thing Mindra found here here. Shyly, she walked over. "Kumara?"

There was a large boulder near the volcano, and atop that boulder was Rune. The boulder formed what could be described as a bowl shape on top, and it was lined with fresh moss and leaves. Rune longed to find either a new nest or a material that would soften the nest, but not catch on fire. Forest fires were quite common in the forest, which is why he spent his time near the volcano, practicing his power.

Myth stood on the edge of one of the towers, her purple mane tugged in many directions by the wind. There was a storm a fair distance away. With a smirk she jumped off the tower, unfurling her wings and almost immediately yanked off-course. She flapped her wings and used Smooth Glide to steady herself, but it required quite a bit of concentration. As soon as she was rightened Myth made her way to the storm, the flashing lightning burning into her eyelids.

Skyward waited at the Land of Plains for her closest and only friend, Blitz. She was nervous that someone would see her. She thought she saw Blitz flying to the Land of Storm, but it was a different Pegasus. Wait, why is another Pegasus fly into the Land of Storm?

Blitz flapped her wings as fast as she could. She wanted to catch up to Skyward before she was discovered. She swerved to avoid a tornado formed by the many winds swirling around the Land of Plains.

Flain practiced his fireball skills by throwing fireballs at trees. He threw one at a gnarled oak and it instantly burst into flames. He looked around for any other good trees to incinerate and saw Rune gathering something. "Hey, Rune!" he said.

Myth flew on the edge of the storm, dodging around lightning flashes. So much cooler than the boring plains! I love the heights and storms. The plains are just flat and windy. Y'know, there comes a time where you need some adventure! The thought that a dragon might be watching her did not cross her mind. Myth was far too cocky and overconfident for that.

Rune smiled at the younger phoenix. "Hello, Flain!" he greeted, hopping off his perch and picking his way through the burnt sticks and branches. "What are you up to today?"

"Just practicing." Flain replied. "Watch this!" He threw a giant fireball at a fir tree and it instantly broke in half, both halves incinerated.

Skyward trailed the Pegasus until she was definitely sure it wasn't Blitz. She didn't really know what to do, if she should tell the others or try to chase it off herself.

Blitz spotted Skyward near the border between the Land of Plains and the Land of Storm. "Hello!" she yelled. "What's up?"

"The sky." Skyward teased. She laughed at her own joke.

"I should have known." Blitz said under her breath.

"Excellent!" Rune said admirably. "Throwing a fireball from this distance with that effect truly is a result of good practice." To prove his point he shot a fireball at a nearby tree, near the base. It too crackled and collapsed in flames.

Gosh! If only I could combine the tornadoes of the plains with the storms here...it would be amazing! Myth made a u-turn to dodge a slash of lightning, but something caught her eye. Ah! A dragon! What a find. I wonder what they are up to! If they follow me, they'll get a taste of my power! She flicked her head haughtily and landed on one of the towers. Squinting, she realized the dragon was not there. Where did it go?

Skyward noticed that the dragon turned around, presumably looking at her. She ducked down behind the shadows, creating a storm to distract the Pegasus.

Blitz flew into the Land of Storm, alerted by Skyward that there was a Pegasus there. She flew over to where the Pegasus was.

"Watch this!" Flain yelled. He flew into the middle of a group of trees, and created a giant lava pool centered on him. Sparks flew and all of the trees disappeared into columns of ash that then floated down.

Ki and Virtu were walking through the forest when they saw trees being incinerated "Sis, stay back, I'll see what going on" Ki said as he advanced forward, seeing Flain and Rune "Hey, please be a little more careful, me and sister are walking around here and the last thing anyone wants is her lighting on fire because of a stray fireball" He said

Virtu followed Ki "I can look after myself brother" She said before looking at Flain and Rune "Hello" She said

Myth leapt off the platform as a storm formed above her head. "Whoa!" she yelped, as lightning struck the tower. This place is so unpredictable! ...I still love it, though. She landed on another tower as she noticed another Pegasus. "Heyyyy...do I know you?" she questioned, it being hard to see through the dark storms.

Rune nodded, smiling. The lava pool was a power he did not have. But there was something he did have. He flew up high into the air, picking a target, then became aflame and descended to the ground, spinning like a drill. As soon as he hit the tree beak-first it exploded into ash.

Blitz nodded. "Yes." she said. "But why are you here?" Out of the corner of her eye she saw Icestorm.

Skyward flew back into the Land of Storms. She saw Icestorm and went over to him. "Hey, Icestorm!" she cheered.

"Hey, Kigali and Virtu!" Flain greeted them. "We're focusing on target practice. Want to try?"

"Flain, we have nothing to practice with, we don't have powers or weapons" Ki said

Virtu looked at a tree "Do you think I could knock that tree down with one kick guys?" She asked

Flain nodded. "Try it." he said.

"It's solid Oak, I don't think anyone could" Ki said as Virtu backed up "And she's gonna prove me wrong"

Virtu ran at the tree and kicked it as hard as possible, knocking it over, but also causing her to fall on her face "Ow! I think I broke something" She cried

Ki ran over and looked at his sister "Does it hurt when I touch your leg below the knee?" He asked

Virtu screamed when Ki touched her leg "Yes! Yes it does!" She cried

"Great, she broke her leg. Flain, help me get her back to our house" Ki said as he carefully lifted Virtu up

Kumara's P.O.V.

"Mindra?" Kumara spoke as the griffin walked up to her, "what are you doing way out here?"
She was really close to the boarder between the Land of Shadows and the Land of Storms, coming here was dangerous if a dragon saw you. They would think the dark and seclusive griffins were up to something.

Frocious' P.O.V.

Frocious saw something in the distance. Another wolf? he thought confused. Maybe it's Ura!
He gripped the cod in his mouth and ran towards the figure, only to slow down after realizing the wolf was not part of his small race. "Who are you?" he growled with the fish still in his mouth.

Rune rose from the ashes and shook himself off. He blinked as he realized there were two strange creatures in his territory. He straightened up and flew to the top of his rock, watching them suspiciously.

Myth lifted her head. "I had a feeling in my heart," she neighed. "The feeling of adventure! Now..." she added with a sly look, "why are you here?"

Mindra swished her tail. "Um...I just wanted to see what you were doing," she admitted. "I didn't realize how close we were to the border." Her eyes were filled with wonder.

"To see why you were here." Blitz looked at Myth. "You know, if a Dragon sees us, we're toast." She pawed the ground with her hoof.

Skyward popped out from behind a tower. "You know, no offense, but you Pegasai seem to always, you know, talk about girly stuff like the 'spirit of adventure'. No offense." she remarked.

Kumara tilted her head to the side before a though hit her. "Would you like to race me?" she asked with a smirk.
