We're not as uneducated as you think, but Gnarly is seriously that asinine. He's trying to get a reaction out of Matteomax because he enjoys being an ass to him. He clearly hates Matteomax, and other 'meanies' as he puts it, but reporting people for no reason, such as 'britishness' is not exactly a joke, and more of a call for attention, which he most certainly got, at a price.

When the rules are broken on a repeated or severe basis. Several suspensions I've seen in the past were well earned for this reason. Get multiple suspensions over time and eventually a ban could be in consideration.

But suspending someone simply because they don't like a mod and made silly reports (which we can't even confirm if they were actually sent in or not) appears more like an abuse of power than anything. If it's possible to remove his ability to report (and the rules claim that it is), then a suspension isn't necessary.

Think about it: A user was potentially suspended because he doesn't like an authority figure on the site. Doesn't that sound a little..........totalitarian to you?
