What's your favorite movie this year? [CLOSED]

As of right now, halfway into the year?

So far mine is Captain America: The Winter Soldier. If i had to pick an animated movie it would be How to Train Your Dragon 2.

I'll be totally honest...

I don't think I've seen a single movie from this year. I haven't even watched Frozen, and that's from 2013.

I've only seen LEGO Movie and X-Men, but tbh I liked LEGO Movie better, I thought I would like X-Men, but It was.....alright, I guess.

I'm pretty sure The Lego Movie is the only one I've seen, and I just bought it this morning. I'm going at see How to Train Your Dragon 2 this weekend and I'm planning on seeing Cap 2 sometime soon, so we'll see.

I don't think I've seen any released this year yet... A few have caught my eye though - Godzilla, I Frankenstein, RoboCop, LEGO Movie, Captain America 2, Maleficent, etc.

I live pretty close to a movie theater in my town, and i usually get money from doing chores (or this year saving half of the $300+ i got from my birthday), along with the fact that i rent movies from Redbox is probably why.

besides that, so far i have seen 17 new films this year. smilie and that's not counting the ones from different years that i first saw this year like The Matrix.

When it's the Lego Movie, you'd have to be a pretty grumpy guy to not get some enjoyment out of it. Besides, windumup is basing his opinion on the fact that the movie is about Legos. That's not a fair judgement IMO.
